Hello Dizzy I have a DM/WP/Soul Brute resting at 47 and he cuts through content like no tommorrow,in the standard game ie missions he fears noone, EBs no problem I comeout of them with full health.Now AVs are a different kettle of fish altogether,they take longer obviously but go down in the end but as cynic has said its sustained damage,and he is correct in saying that it is very safe,I cant remember now the last time I died on him.End is no problem either I can go on forever with him.

If i was to have a pick all over again I probably would go the SS/WP route.

As most of the older players will know me from Sirens call,before IO sets came out I had 2 Stalkers 1 was an EM/SR and the other 1 was EM/Regen and both have soloed EBs quite easily,but fell flat on my face when faced with an AV.Now I play Brutes exclusively,I have a FM/Shield Brute and now im working on a DM/WP brute the latter is lvl 34 and is going smoothly.The reason why I asked is that i have been away from the game for almost 2 years,and wanted to know if anything had changed in that time.

I know that almost all ATs considering its build and IOS etc,but what i want to know is which one has the smoothest ride,im guessing its Scrappers here.Oh and Thorny do you still have Thorny Devil Dom in your Arsenal still.

Hello again everyone,with PVP now officially dead on both servers,the once busy Sirens Call,now dead,Warburg a ghost town,and RV a place where all the farmers can farm in peace.The game that had a PVP system second to none.It was fast paced Dynamic and you had to work for your kills,some ATs more than others,but everyone enjoyed the PVP that was created by it.

Now we have the new system,where supposedidly everyone was equal.I returned to the game for the PVP content to find that my old EM/SR stalker was nerfed into oblivion.But heres a hint to the Devs bring back the old system and the servers will once again fill up.Stick with this system and the population will continue to shrink.This is a PVE game now,as noone plays the pvp content anymore.

So that brings me nicely onto the main subject at large,which AT and powersets can take on todays AVs, solo?

Thanks guys i think i will go with FM/WP now with this do i need Stamina in the build.

Hiya guys im going to make me a new brute and i am leaning towards SS/WP can any of you guys change my mind into better combinations of primary and secondary powersets.I just want to solo my way to 50 i want to sample all the content apart from AVs.I just want a powerful combo that can tackle it.

Some good advice has been given here.But hey its not a race,you can take it as slow as you want to,aslong as you like your character that all that counts here.

Ghosting missions in the early part is a very good XP earner when your done on to the next.When you have a full attack chain taking out a group of 4 minions LTs etc will be nothing to you.

Just keep at it and remember to enjoy the game as you progress up to the higher levels.I have a MM that i am levelling up now on union and if you want to team give me a call my global is @TipTop and we will do a few levels together.I am sure we will have a few fun moments aswell.

We're not Egyptians - we don't build pyramids anymore. All of you "funny" chaps are on my watch list.

Energy Mele is the only way to go for a Stalker if you want to PVP extensively unless of course you want to be different.

Out of the secondaries SR-Ninjitsu and Regen will all get the job done in PVP EM/SR is a VERY tight build leaving less room for goodies from pools.Ive got an EM/SR Stalker and if i was to choose again i would go for Ninjitsu or Regen.

Bear in mind you will need a heal if you want to go toe to toe with some ATs.Yes with EM you can you will also want to pick up haste aswell for your Attacks to recharge nicely for you.Also a succesful AS then an ET will see most ATs hit the dirt especially SR scrappers,but for the more troublesome one AS,ET Placate then another AS followed by another ET.

In practice though he can 2 shoot you and you can do the same to him aswell after a succesful AS and ET combo always placate and wind up TF from hide and watch him walk around like a drunken sailor.you can catch many tanks totally off guard with your burst damage just got to be very quick though.

Hiya guys im thinking about making a Storm/Sonic Defender.Im ok with the Sonic set but just need to know what the absoloute must have's in the storm set are.

I will be doing PVE and also later on a little PVP and maybe the Arena aswell.I dont really know how this will fare against opposition but we will see.

Also how well do you think Dark/Sonic will fair in the Arena enviroment if anyone has made one I will be very interested in how well this build does PVE and PVP.

Any information would be apreciated as im in the Dark so to speak about Defenders.

Hehe unfair,not at all, i like a good challenge for my stalker.I always aproach a person as though he has seen me using the buildings and landscape to my advantage,and in the confusion of battle i get my kill then swiftly make haste.

But the Invention system has some really good choices for stalkers defensive sets along with Damage sets and also if mixed you can get some good results.

To recap Stalkers do well in zone Pvp,you can have alot of fun with the heroes just doing runbys on the defenders or Tp them away and out of the battle while your team goes in and creates havoc.A well played Stalker is a match for almost anyone.

Well i got SR but i am sorry now i didnt go Ninjitsu.Claws/Nin with the heal can afford you to stay in the fight longer 1 on 1.But the choice is yours but my next stalker will definetly be a /Nin.I can dig up Elernets I8 Pvp build he is EM/NIN but it will give you an idea about what powers to pick etc.His is a lvl 50 respec build,with no stamina,but at least it will give you a good idea on slotting ninjitsu for PVP

Claws does really well in the right hands.Ive got an EM/SR Stalker and if i really wanted to could go toe to toe with a tanker except an ice tank ofc.And i have seen many Claws Stalkers scrap it out many a time.So the answer to your question is yes claws can PVP effectively.

But Regen is a very tight build if you want to scrap.But if you just want to just hit and run you can maybe get away with some of Regens powers and get some nice goodies for PVP.For EG:TP Foe-Intimidate-2 Travel powers-Concealment pool.

But do not forget if you ever go to warburg Pvping the SR Stalkers will be all over you.Nothing worse than to line up an AS then get ASed from behind from another Stalker with +perception.

Yeah one of my costumes has a top hat with a suit plus a pair of shades to look cool.Not that heroes can look anyway with my quick in and quick out gameplay.But i do like the idea of the nakey cossie though.

Ive had people call me chicken,and is that all you can do(Er Yes).And i even got to fear a few pll with intimidate when the build was new but BU TP Foe+intimadate works like a charm on most pll i even had time to dance with them before killing them.

VGs i see alot of are The Gathering,Night Stalkers,Murders Unlimited sometimes Sisterhood of Hades and lots of little VGs.The average numbers i see on the Villain side when i do a search is normally 60+ at peak time sometimes 80+.

And 5 months ago it was twice this number maybe 3 times.So people are definately losing interest and turning to other games.I gave up hero side of this game as they are very picky on what they bring into a team,which puts alot of people off.

Soon they will have to change there way of thinking as the player base is definetly shrinking.

Aid self at 30 if you solo.Look in the US servers for inspiration on very tight builds.Here is one Posted by Krytical.

You will notice both builds have Aid Self in them.Good luck and hope its not too late for you buddy.

Out of the 2 powers you mentioned Aid Self would give you the most utility.You can always heal the damage you take.

Hello everyone many will know me, most will not.After a long layoff from the game(Due to RL commitments etc).I have returned, and have decided to roll a brute.

She will mostly be soloing(unless i find myself a nice home for my Stalker and her that is).But hopefully i will be doing alot of PVPing with her.

I narrowed it down to 2 types really EM/ELA or EM/FA so im going to put it to the boards.And to the experts what they would pick, and what are the pros and cons in PVP.

I have been away for along time and I am well out of date with the game aswell so some advice will be apriciated.

I am open to alternatives aswell not just these 2.

Heres what i do Invis + Hide brings you as close to the cap as you can get.Also get Stealth aswell for when you want to kill some one.Use Invis + hide to get in close target someone hit BU hit Stealth then hit AS then its business as usuall.

Hello guys,my character is now level 33 EM/SR Stalker with a respec inhand.I very much like to PVP and you will see me in Sirens Call frequently.I am in the British Army and i travel around sometimes but not too often.I like PVE aswell as PVP and will try my hand at anything.

Many here may know me from Sirens.What i am looking for is an established SG to house my Stalker and then later on my other project my Dominator.Both these characters will be built solely for pvp from level 40 upwards.

Hello Lithoren,the hairstyle Slyfe is using is,"Combed Back".Also on the chest he is using Skull 5.If you already have made your charactor you can visit the Tailors in Cap.And change your appearance from there.You can put the skull onto your chest from the Chest Detail tab in the tailors.
