I've been informed that our Sales Team, in response to these concerns, is working on making these, and other, optional purchases available via our partner in the region Level Up! Games. While they are not yet available from their store, we wanted to update those concerned with this issue that progress is being made. We anticipate more announcements to follow in October with details of how these optional addons can be obtained for that region.

While i'm not sure what to make of the new mutant pack as i'm in agreement with; "it's not so much mutant as strange."

I do appreciate the Devs NOT turning the mutant pack into a furry booster set.

As a set, the Mutant pack gives you the abilty to make new heroes or villains to fit a fairly wide range of aestheic types: alien-corrupted, hell-spawn, genetic freak--all of that's doable with this set. And with 2 tails, wings, and sword, there's a cherry on top.

Here're some shots of the tails that you'll be getting in the next build, by the way:
*looks at tails. Vomits in mouth.* Those are some great mutant tails, very realistic. I'm sure the community that loves fur and tails will love them, David.

Excuse me, i'm going to have to vomit violently some more. d;D

P.s. Can we have a mop for the katana and broadsword set? and grungy looking tutus? Like this!

Funny how in a previous thread you had stated you would "NEVER" turn "any" player away based on their AT. Welcome to the wonderful world of hypocrisy.

i'd thank the devs but given this would have never happened if the mitos weren't "fixed" in the first place... it's good to have a more sensible mag applied to the mitos for an 8 person TF.

As an aside, I would have been fine with the mag 53 if the lgtf were given a much higher merit reward (maybe 35 to 40 merits?). What ever happened to risk VS Reward?

  8. Why the sudden interest from the community in the developers improving PvP? Been noticing a lot of these threads croping up lately.

On top of this I really think Paragon Studios needs to hire a developer specifically for PvP changes. Its not a system thats easily fixed and even long running titles have minor changes every now and then to keep them balanced.

In the current system we get a bunch of changes at once, then its not looked at again for an issue or so. If it was directly someones job to work on PvP issues then there would be no excuses as to why problems cant be looked at.

Granted PvP is not a huge area of the game but most of that is simply down to a bad system in serious need of work. i13 was basically a big dump of changes on the community with very little support afterwards, PvP isnt a one fix issue, there is no wonderfix that suddenly makes things perfect and when the devs realise that they will start realising the possibilities that high end pvp has. Endless end game content being the biggest one.

    Anyway, flame away
Not a flame, but you should really search before posting.

The funny thing is that the Devs have stated the interest in PvP isn't enough to warrant resources and time on improving it. Coincidently its the very changes they themselves implemented that drove away the interest.

I used to PvP competively in another game; with hundreds of other Guilds and a development team that supported PvP almost to the point of excluding the rest of the game. I don't PvP competitively in this game because it's a waste of time. I don't even consider what I do "PvPing" as I spend most of my time farming people in zones for PvP IOs.

If you are truly looking for balanced competitive PvP and a development team that cares and supports its PvP community, I would recommend another game.

^^This is an opinion. Agreeing with him doesn't make him right, it just means you agree with him. I happen to think his opinion is trash because I don't agree with him. That doesn't make me right either.

The mechanic is feasible and interesting but i'm skeptical of its practicality and exploitability.

With that said, I would love to have this feature in order to increase the drop rate of certain pool recipes and salvage types. For now I'll just farm particular mobs using ouroboros.

I wish it would have been better stuff.
lol, shafted how? Paragon studios delivered on what they told consumers they would receive with the prepurchase. They made consumers aware that there would be a box set with "extra" goodies as well as a free month worth of gaming.

If players feel like they got shafted, they are the only ones to blame.

You are the second person that either seems; shocked, amazed or dumbfounded. I can't help but feel amused. People knew the box set would have extra goodies that the pre-purchase wouldn't have and yet they still purchased so that they could have Demon Summoning and dual pistols "Immediately." It was a great marketing tactic. I'm still taking a wait and see approach as i'm still quite skeptical when the Devs mention "lots of content." badges, to these devs mean content.

People on these board have been screaming for marketing to do something, anything to promote the game.

So Marketing are now doing something to promote the game.

    Cue board rage.

    Whuh?

This is the sort of move from marketing I've been wanting to see. Merchandise more, promote more. It's a shame they are finally picking up their feet 2 months before the release of GR (If the date hasn't changed) atleast this is a step in the right direction.

As for those who prepurchased because they were too impatient to wait for closed beta and are now complaining about the items in the complete edition box....haha, you got baited into an obvious marketing ploy. Couldn't feel sorry for you even if I tried.

I've come to the conclusion that despite the many nerfs to things I like and enjoy, what really made me cancel my sub has been paragon studios marketing. There seems to be a complete lack of organization and effort to promote the game.

That and the write-ups for praetorian signature characters, NPC groups, seem to have completely bypassed editorial review and yet remain on the site. As a fan of this game and as a consumer that WANTs to be a fan of GR..this irritates me.

    Example:

Beneath the streets of Praetoria lies a vast expanse of tunnels, maintenance corridors, underground rail lines, and water mains and pipes. This complex may be the Resistance's home, but the Resistance is not alone down there in what its members call "The Dim."
There are more examples of mispelling and general bad grammar and sentence structure that I could point out.

After looking at the pic you posted I don't see the similarities in body type but I appreciate the compliment. I'll post a few other concept characters. Elegance in simplicity is what I aim for in costuming and color.

I wish the athletic female model had slightly more muscular definition. We're playing heroes and villains here. I want my hero/villain to look as if she could hold her own in a super-powered brawl, not like a runway model or anorexic cheerleader.

    An example:

    The Green Scare

Green Scare is my favorite concept character, I'm rather proud of the costuming as well for this one. I also played quite a bit with her proportions as I grew sick and tired of seeing the same generic rail thin female model posted up on the forums.
  21. "Yellow"

Why? Because I'm color blind. okay that isn' true. To screw with the color blind.

It is the constraints of clothing that cause them to point forward (and one of the mistakes bad artists make is to have them pointing forward without something holding them that way).

Of course, the CoX skintight costume pieces must be made with a fine mesh of braided spider silk or aramid fiber to provide sufficient support in all directions to keep female characters' breasts from Gainaxing all over the place or requiring the devs to implement Jiggle Physics. I concede that it would be nice to have a choice for each of the skintight chest parts between skin-conforming and 'real material' styles; as it is now, the only way to get that effect across the chest is to use the 'armored' upper body type, which severely restricts the available costume pieces. But that's something to throw at the art department; I think it would take a different torso mesh (the game already does it for the 'armored' upper body types, so that's not a huge issue in itself) and all of the chest symbols would need to be checked to determine whether they need to be remapped, repositioned, or redesigned to work on that mesh.
Your knowledge of breast physics astounds me... :P

Very well stated. we need better texturing for our models and costumes.
