I don't think this has been really addressed( and may be part of their stretch goals), above logic does indicate we may eventually see new Patron and Epic Pools, or they may just go the easy route and make the available epics and patrons based on equivilent ATs
So they would at least to create some different yet proliferated Epics for the crossing over ATs -

As I just posted in the other thread about this I fixed the updater when it happened the other day and now its happened again
From the looks of it - because of the message - it hasn't been set up for EU people because its looking for cohupdater.exe rather than cohupdater.eu.exe
*grumble grumble*
Edit - to fix it I did the same thing I did previously to, but its just annoying I had to do it manually again

essentially I'm pushing for more proactive heroism and villainy, stuff that isn't hand fed to you by contacts, 1 mission at a time. It seems too often that we're nothing but powered flunkies who do the punching rather than any of the thinking, and while that may be fine for your Hulk types out there, I generally play heroes who think thingss through.
feedback? suggestions?
I guess they could introduce the missions with random glowies or when you defeat a spawn and each zone has its own side missions.
Could be a lot of fun and it could encourage exploring some more!

Then there's just the fact that Guildportal has very little to specifically support City of Heroes or Villains. No game specific site banners or themes, etc... It SEEMS like they even did away with the option to display server status on your site. Maybe that's because the VG is a free site.
ANYWAY... I'm getting tired of fighting with the blasted site. Anybody know a quality site for guild hosting? Right now I need free hosting, but I'd like something that has a forums option like GP does. Email and relatively good, easy site building tools too. -

One of the reason I wish they'd include an SG log that would show who kicked who. If it showed nothing in the log or an odd kick message then you know it was a bug.

Is there a way of getting the updater to work for the EU please? I've tried all this and NOTHING is working.
Edit: For EU peoples this should work..
1. Go into the folder where CoH is, for example c:\program files\city of heroes
2. Delete the .prv file in there as per instructed by TheOcho
3. Rename the cohupdater.EU to just cohupdater (if you're in Vista click all the appropriate YES buttons as per normal)
4. Right click and run as Admin if in Vista, or just double click cohupdater
5. When it asks where to put the files (as it's now wanting to install the US version) just say NO! and Cancel.. quit out of the Updater.
6. Go back into the program folder and rename the file back to cohupdater.EU and run it again.
Hopefully that should work!
