  1. I'll help as long as I'm around whenever you schedule it. For the next two weeks, I'm completely free after 1400 EST during the week. Weekends, I'm all over the place, so just post a time.
  2. What does it require, exactly?
  3. Dahjee--

So does the phase trick still work on live servers? I have respecs to burn and it sounds interesting, even if not the quickest method of killing things...

    Dun dun DUN!

I know people at least halfway up did. Naienko saw the sign, I know that. Not sure anyone past her noticed them though.

Truth. Also, I would have at least been a smidgeon happier if they had sent swag, for, oh, I dunno, the right game.

I do realize that DragonCon isn't billed as a 'gamer con', but given how large it is, and what a wide variety of people go to DragonCon, they wouldn't exactly be pissing money away. I don't go to DragonCon for gaming, but I am more interested in checking out panels for games I don't know about or play (especially MMOs) if I know official reps are going to be there.

And honestly, if planned properly, PAX and DragonCon can actually be washes for prices. How do I know? My brother goes to PAX, and I go to DragonCon. I'm better at finding deals, so despite the fact I'm traveling further I usually come out with similar or cheaper travel and lodging stay costs. Ez majeek.

Despite lack of dev/marketing/mail boy representation, it was actually a very enjoyable panel, and am definitely planning on going next year.

You can still do quote pyramids, just take longer cause you gotta do them by hand.

And, uh...yeah, that build is special. I have no real constructive things to say about it right now.
  7. I'll sign up!

Malum Tempest--Storm/Dark def (level 33 if I remember correctly) or

    Little Dancer--DB/Willpower scrap (level 32)

Then they liked the post, or there would be a comment there.

I'd also like for the tour guide to randomly hold things over his head and exclaim "THIS way, please!"

Also, you can never forget 'the guy with the video camera/still camera who takes pictures of everything, up to and including your feet as you walk because every second is special'.

So they couldn't just go to the zones the rest of the time, when they're almost always completely deserted?
  11. And maybe take a couple small potty breaks. And maybe grab a snack. And comfort the people flashing back to Posi.

Yeah. That was me. Hiya all!

Folks, I could blather with the best of 'em about why I enjoy the CoX environment, but I think the bottom line for us as players is that we don't play BECAUSE we want the devs to love us, but I think it's safe to say that many of us in attendance really LOVE the game and would truly take it as a badge of honor to thank one (or more) of the devs in person.

We love you, Paragon Studios. If you love us half as much as our subscription fees you'll come say "hello" to Dragon*Con. Otherwise you're meanie doodie heads.

    I'm serious.

    (Seers Untie!)

Short dude with the hair or short dude that recognized dUmb members? And yes, I did love the loud group in the back.

I mean, we should have been quiet. Yeah.

And seriously I'm pretty sure DragonCon would love to have them. Perhaps cut them a slight deal with some things.

...and honestly, I'd be happy if they just sent one freaking person. Just one. I have flown in to DragonCon over 2k miles away twice now. It's not that hard, and it's not THAT expensive, considering, especially if you are willing to go to travel sites or just troll the airline sites for deals. It's really just the same as going to a con on the same coast, just a couple more hours in the air.
  13. We had a couple lonely Freedumb members as well.

And while I have gone to D*Con for a small amount of years, this is the first year that I went to the panel, and was surprised at how much fun it was. And the majority would have loved to have official representation *coughhintcough*.

Edit: I think we also had a Triumph person or two.

Pinkie Pie is the name of a My Little Pony and is excessively pink, cheerful, and definitely way too happy for her own good.

I think Fluffy may have a longer range on his powers, hence more "Oh hai guys, wassup?" from him than say, imps.

    You both beat me.

    Fiddlesticks.

    Non AE teams

AE Anon is a good channel to find teams, etc.

Also...if you go away from Atlas, more people are running actual missions.

    AE Anonymous!

Yeah, sorry, I had a severe blonde moment.
  19. I realize it's more work to make new pets for all the values, but considering they dropped controller and corruptor versions of FS a whole whooping 5% per target and 10% to self, I don't see why it wouldn't be as important to fix Mastermind versions. I realize that some people will play the traps set no matter what, but I know enough people ingame who will roll traps Masterminds but refuse to touch traps on corrs because it's the same freaking set, and you get more survivability and extra damage AND a better tier 9.

Why bother playing a traps corr, other than concept or sheer bloody mindedness? I play a traps corr for concept only, and once she got slotted up, she was alright. But I do get the wonderful ingame comments of "Shoulda rolled a MM" or "People play traps on corrs?" The fact that people who don't bother with the forums have an ingrained idea that corrs are weaker than MMs when it comes to buffs and debuffs, when MMs should be weaker, is a slight issue, considering that's one of the things that's supposed to set corrs apart.

Edit: Just saw your edit--I wasn't trying to sound like I was attacking you in any way, please don't take it like that. It just irks me most of the attention corrs ever get is to get weaker versions of most things, and Masterminds, etc, are never given the same treatment. Yes, this is more a Mastermind issue, but can you really see the Mastermind people on the forums rooting for what in their eyes is a nerf? I don't want nerfs, I want to bring things in line.

I'm mostly asking for this info because I know of people ingame who would actually consider a traps corr if it had an advantage over the MM traps. Right now, MM traps is better, in every way.
  20. Now that I went and mentioned it in another thread, I'm rather curious. What are some known issues for Corruptors? I'm mostly asking about numbers/powers/known balance issues, less about subjective, though I'd like to hear about those too.

I know traps has same numbers for MMs, or did they fix that? I know they upped the debuff numbers for Defenders, so it's possible to fix it, just hasn't happened (unless my info is out of date).

If Arch and TA aren't fixed before hitting live, our end use will be out of proportion for what it should be, and Trickshooter said that Poison Gas Arrow isn't as intended, though I don't really know what (s)he meant by that exactly (assuming debuff numbers aren't right).

    Anything else?

    He changed it to 9/2.

    AE Anonymous!

I'm all for events and other such things for AE Anon, but I would like to point out that, yes, it is a PvP zone, and you will get people attacking each other for PvP, especially when it's not an event night. It's nothing personal, it's just how it goes.

RV is one of the few zones I poke my head into to mess around with PvP. There's usually at least one or two other people in there, and there's a minigame you can keep busy with if other people don't want to fight. Much better than Arena (hard to set up and get people interested), or BB (hate that level cap...) or Siren's (just don't like the layout).

Though, like I said, no matter what I'll be making one when it does.
How exactly do you propose we make sure it gets fixed? Corr issues are somewhat traditionally ignored and pushed to the back of the list (not trying to sound emo, but given traps with their values, and wasn't there another set we had the same problem with? Storm and its Lightning Storm or something?). Bug reports? We start a thread like the other AT forums with an ongoing list of known problems? (I wouldn't mind starting one of those, to be honest) Lots and lots of messages to Castle?

Since you're one of the known TA helpers, mind helping us know how to fix it? I'd really like the right version of Rain of Arrows, and Poison Gas Arrow to be fixed, etc.
  24. Alright, I kinda want to test this thing out afore the corr will be ready...

I'll be sending a PM shortly.
