/signed on giving Ninjitsu to Scrappers
Also /signed on the idea of replacing Hide with a self-stealth toggle at the same level as the aforementioned cloak powers, as the ninja set just doesn't seem ... ninja-y without it. -
You forgot to mention that, in this scenario, the Rikti received a buff because heroes were still able to defeat them at all.

Hey, Guy'.
Wasn't it more common knowledge that you can hunt things at any level for tips so long as their combat level is 20 or higher? o_o;;
Although I was pleasantly surprised, too, when I found that out from Tidbit. In fact, to paraphrase:
Quote:[Tell] Tidbit: yay, got my first tip
[Tell] Tidbit Jr.: gratz
[Tell] Tidbit: yeah, much easier hunting greys
[Tell] Tidbit Jr.: ... cheater.
[Tell] Tidbit: Economist.
[Tell] Tidbit Jr.: Touché, father. Touché. -

Blasters in general for me.
I don't know if it's that I'm not playing in the mindset, building for the archetype, or just plain bad at playing one, but I cannot seem to make a blaster that does well after the 20s end and the 30s begin...
My DP/Devices blaster was a DP/Traps corruptor during beta. Thinking of rerolling him just to get there again. It was a bit more monotonous, but at least it survived. x_x -
Back in my day, sonny, we only had SOs to get to. Once you go there, you were done.
Unless you went to the block parties in the Hive; then you could get those fancy Hammys that nobody talks about anymore!
Ah the good old days... -
The macros are kind of like naming a file path in HTML or command prompt, if that makes any sense. As such, you need to enclose the actual command inside quotation marks.
Macros also require a name to be input before it, which doesn't need quotes if it has no spaces. Also, macros don't require the forward-slash that commands normally need, as it assumes that the first word is a command.
An example macro for what you want would be:
/macro name "em evillaugh"
... where name is the name that shows up on the macro'd button and "em evillaugh" is the full command for that emote. Hopefully that was helpful, but if that doesn't work, then sorry for misleading you; I'm a bit rusty on macros. -
Curses. I hate staring at those buildings in back again. That's why I got rid of them in the first place. >_<

Long time no see, guys. The once-fleeting legend of Power Customization has been implemented; what an accomplishment, eh? Though, it has had an effect on something else. With the new background that goes with the costume creator / tailor window, the Splasher no longer replaces it.
Does anyone have any idea how to "fix" this? We were never really supposed to be able to replace it, of course, but still...
And I'd finally had a nice background picked out, too.
[insert the mental image of You having taken the link here]
... what? Don't judge me for my choice of background. o_o -

Ooh it feels good to be back. I haven't been on the forums in a while.
Anyways, whatwith the game's Architect inspiring so many suggestion posts, I felt now was a good time to break the monotany by suggesting a few quality-of-life changes for the game's windows.
All the suggestions here are for options that could be turned on or off, and a short description was provided. A couple of them are inspired by some programs like Flash or Photoshop.
Lock Windows
When on, this would lock all current windows at their locations, rending them unable to be dragged by any means.
This would be a bit problematic if new windows were being added or changed a lot at any given time (such as during a new issue's testing?).
Snap Windows
Similar to a feature that Flash, Photoshop, and other programs have, which is called Snap to Objects. It's sort of difficult to describe if you've never experienced it before.
Whil active, when a window is dragged near another one, it would try to align its edges with the second so that no extra space was left between them. If the windows' corners are near as well, it would try to "snap" itself so that the two formed a single, solid side where they met edges.
When resizing a window, and it is next to another, it would suggest you make it the same size as the other if you dragged the size close enough.
Lock Tray Numbers
When active, it would stop the Power Trays from changing which set it is in. (From personal experience, when clicking a power next to the tray-changing button, lag can sometimes meddle with the situation and instead of queuing the power, it changes the tray number instead.)
Any more suggestions are welcome, too, of course. Sorry if I wasn't descriptive enough. -
QR (only read first page)
Didn't the developers say the game could have contacts check origins, gender, and archetypes after i12 or somesuch? Like the origin of powers storyarc?
Anyway, if it can, specifically, detect archetype, they could assign a different storyarc (with more matching text and stuff), for upper-villain levels like the patron arcs? -
Dude, take it easy on your shift key. Also, see the posts above.
Did sticky keys jump out at you? Every word there is capitalized! -

Shiny? It must be the STRONG and pretty that Mr. Playschool left in this thread, as well as everyone else that's on the bandwagon for STRONGandprettyville.
Wish I had a good concept. -

Well, you get what you get for watching crappy TV.

I never really watched much television then, and I don't now.
I just know that all the shows they have always have some market stuff after one week of their air debut. -

I've never seen an episode of RiD, it didn't make it over here. I own Beast Machines on DVD (a lucky buy at a sale from my wife - I'd not seen it, but once I did, I really enjoyed it). I also have all of Transformers Animated, which is a Transformers series written by gigantic transformers nerds, so it's full of in-jokes and references, and focuses on a small, interesting, evocative cast (just like Beast Wars did) rather than trying to inflate the Buy All Our Playsets And Toys feel of things by making every episode feature 2-3 new transformers you would need a guidebook to sort out.

That last part sounds a lot like all the stuff they show on channels 5 and 11. -
I liked Armada, though I wasn't able to see most of the series. I wasn't much of a fan of the series after that.
Also, the only other series I'd seen was that one on Fox which, if Wikipedia is correct, was the one called Transformers: Robots in Disguise. It was pretty good, albeit I was younger then, so everything seemed more epic. -
Don't you love it when villains get a new powerset to play with on any archetype?
Don't you hate it when you any way you want to level up has been done on ALL of your villains already?
(If you don't get that one, it's about the fact that villains usually use most of the same contacts over-and-over, whereas heroes can at least alternate something like Hollows-Kings Row-Hollows-Kings Row for each character to break the monotany.)
