Has anyone else noticed that /em bringit done in Granite Armor looks like it ends with giving the finger?

Does /petoptions no longer work for controllers? When I enter this slash command on my Ice/Storm, I get a small menu-ish window with no drag-handle that disappears as soon as I hit a key or click a mouse button.
I have a pet window set up on a couple of my other controllers, but it's been a long time, and I could be forgetting something. -
We'll probably hit the Soundview Cafe at some point this weekend, but since I can't get a real bagel (New York style is the only real bagel) in Pierce County, Pike Place Bagels is first. We'll just drag our yummies to the balcony walkways behind the market for the absolutely awesome view.

I recommend you plan to show up a bit earlier than 2:00.
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh I'll be there earlier than 2pm, but IIRC the doors don't open 'til then. We already have our badges, hence 2pm + walking time.
We're taking the day off and heading up to Seattle around mid-morning. There's a great bagel spot I want to hit for brunch, and we both want a wander through Magic Mouse Toys and Golden Age Collectibles before getting in line. -
Have to miss the M&G
but I'll be at the booth at 2pm + picking up badge and walking to booth time to get me some PPD Hardsuit goodness.

Hopefully, the Get Together hours will run late. I'm in class in Bellevue from 5:30 to 9:30 on Friday.

Hyperbole ftw? -
Jules has a pleasant voice, no doubting that. Also I think she has good potential to become an engaging "radio" personality once she conquers the jitters.
However...
Constructive criticism: When interviewing, never never never just bring up a topic, trail off, and hope the guest will elucidate. Ask questions. Throw questions that won't let the guest get away with yes/no answers. Use your questions to control the direction and pacing of the interview. Even the basic techniques in Radio Journalism 104 will make a world of difference. -

You guys NEVER come to the East Coast.

I imagine they don't make it out to the East Coast for the largely the same reason I don't:
"What's that gonna cost again?"
Looks in wallet.

Looks in wife's purse.

Jacks a random stranger for his wallet. ("$tarbucks card, sweet!")

This is why BAB has such a cult following.

BAB's got a cult. That's frikkin' awesome.
The First Temple of BAB has a nice ring to it. Where do I get some robes? -

So should we blame the way schools teach students how to write? They're always giving out assignments with word count minimums, or page lengths on them. All that ever taught me was how to pad a 5 page, well written thesis with 5 more pages of garbage.
It would be nice if they focused on content, not length. Sometimes, there just isn't much to say about something you don't care about.

From Niven's Laws:

If you've nothing to say, say it any way you like. Stylistic innovations, contorted story lines or none, exotic or genderless pronouns, internal inconsistencies, the recipe for preparing your lover as a cannibal banquet: feel free. If what you have to say is important and/or difficult to follow, use the simplest language possible. If the reader doesn't get it then, let it not be your fault.

Bwahahahahaha! Well done! -
I really enjoyed the voice in which you wrote this guide. Well done. The Latin is a nice touch as well.

That list is freakin' awesome, NotP! A lot of the items on it would encourage me to PvP more.

Out of curiosity, Darkjedi, are you using DAZ Studio, Poser, or some other rendering app?

I hope you have the time to proofread the HTML code you'll be receiving, Ex, or I predict a Rickroll epidemic.

I love you. Are you married?

I am, sorry. I believe in polyamory, but my relationship is currently explicitly monogamous. I'll send you a PM if this changes.*

Uh-oh, do I sense a Digipen student?
[/ QUOTE ]
After some research, calling some contacts in the industry, and careful consideration, I chose Strategy over Digipen. They have a superior reputation among local software companies for placing qualified candidates. I'm currently enrolled in their Game Developer program.

You know its funny I keep finding out about other CoX players around me but have yet to actually meet any of them lol. Heck one even works in the building acros the street from where I live.
[/ QUOTE ]
I wish. WoW and UO players are dime a freakin' dozen in my current RL social circles, but I get the blank look of the year whenever I mention CoH. At least my Saturday night Champions game is well-infected with CoH addiction.
