OK, I have been readingn this thread for a day or two and I'd just like to say that A BUFF OR NERF IS NOT NEEDED. Feel free to disagree. Both SS and WP are good sets, combined they are even better - but they are not seriously overpowered and buffing/nerfing would be a last resort, it always is.

Some people in this forum should take a chill pill, look, this is about as reasonable as saying Theo Walcott is not as good as Wayne Rooney so we should pump Theo Walcott with steorids. SS and WP will be better or worse than what's on the tin depending on how played. So will Theo Walcott and Wayne Rooney. (I would've used Scottish footballers but you wouldn't know them, meh)

At the end of the day, with Enhancements, the potential is there - to make a set as weak or powerful as you want. As I said before, nerfing/buffing is a last resort. This may sound lazy of the devs, although the players can play the powersets at the level they want and not criticise the devs for making a change they don't like.

tl;dr - how powerful or weak a set is is mostly in the player's hands.

Oh and by the way in repliance to Toerag converting the Pope to Islam is possible, people have changed religions before and it still goes on now, it's commonplace.

I think the security point is that if someone has hacked in, then once they get to the login screen, they won't know the username/password so logging in and deleting treasured characters isn't possible, unless of course they DO know, which is incredibly stupid, why give away your account name and password?

Oh, and you can cut down some time - 30 seconds to be exact - getting to the login by typing "buy_coh" (no "") in the chat, and clicking "Yes" then taking off the PlayNC store page. I've made a macro for ease of use.

I beep stuff out because, yes, it hit a personal note with me. On the other hand (and this feels very similar to something I replied with a while ago concerning a question to do with a certain type of battery operated female stimulation equipment) this is a game played by young people. I don't feel the need to contribute to any decline in society (or be accused of contributing to the decline of society) connected with youths swearing. I'll say what I like to say, but I'm always mindful, when editing, that people who weren't born when I was their age may very well be playing the game - or the young children of people who play the game may be in the room when the players are watching the video.

Plus to be fair there is a fairly blatant PSA warning prior to the video continuing regarding the content so if it is likely to offend....there has been sufficient warning beforehand.

Theres a huge difference there. Epic Archtypes are supposed to be just that. Epic. Capes dont have an impact on the game, per se, there a costume option, which should BE an option.

Epics, on the other hand, are fine as they are. Your jsut going to have to slog it out, like everyone else has. It took me fifteen god damned months to get my first Hero to 50, something similar for Villains. And you know what? That felt GOOD. THAT was an achievement worth having. Because you unlocked a whole new section of the game that was a lot of fun to play, and it was something that you had earned and no one else could just buy.

Thats my arguement. To have a character concept and then be unable to utilise it is made of fail. Some people can get away with combat auras, shoulder capes of Valkyrie capes. Others cannot. That, IMO, is unfair.

As for game lore, some of it gets in such a knot that I almost trust player lore more Have you ever tried reading the Bios of the Phalanx on the official main site? If they gave the lore a good comb through and straightened it up a bit, maybe. But not right now, ta very much...

Well then stop playing! Or, if you really want a widow, why don't you WORK to get it? A lot of people have, if they had Epics from the start they would be no point in all the debt, sweat and tears ( ) they shed.

You know, there's characters who just don't give a damn about it and are not working for Recluse and are not intrested in what happens to him. They are the ones out there for the pure villany of it, for the pleasure of killing someone, or the money. Come on, they might even be working for Arachnos for the money alone and don't care for Recluse's life.

If you can defeat Recluse in GW's arc, then I'm pretty sure Arachnos can't kill you.

I mostly keep it on unless someone's trying to tell me something not offensive that's blocked by the filter, and really, the filter's kinda stupid, it blocks out "poop".

Why? I don't want to fall to a dirty level where I swear all the time, and I don't want to encourage it either. Sure, in RP, I might use it once or twice, but my character's aren't Mr. T-like people.

He is currently dating Karen Parker, a civillan, although she is not aware of his hero status.

True. But I started from 0 inf. Just like everyone else. Learn the ropes of the market and without actually playing a character you can easily get 100mil/week. WW in fact encourages offline earning.

It's not time consuming at all I find. 5-10 mins of ebil marketeering a day + regular playing can easily get me 50-100mil a week. And that's with 1-2 hours a day played total.

If I only do marketeering I might get somewhere between 30 to 70 mil.
