Milly Temblin was a young girl with a beautiful voice. Her life was ruined when a tanker carrying Crey chemicals was caught in an explosion in Kings Row and she was nearly killed by the blast. From that day her voice was turned from something of beauty to something of power. With the compensation money from Crey she had a scientist at MicroLabs design some ear filters and now she splits her time between helping in the soup kitchens and fighting crime as Sonic Girl.

RedBlast found out about his powers in high school ending with him burning down the school on accident. his parents brought him to paragon city to a scientist that supposedly could "cure" mutations. the experimental procedure ended up in a big explosion partially due to Red's powers, everybody assumed the worst.
altough he survived he never corrected the newspaper or told his parents. it seemed better this way, he assumed his hero identity and now that was his only one. Over the years he has seen some injuries. the most memorable one of course loosing his right arm in a battle with the Tsoo, trough combining rikti tech and moderm medicine they were able to create a new prosthetic arm that could withstand the continuesly generated heat from his powers.

Character Description: (the backstory constantly changes, don't expect this to the stay the same)
When Alexander Detrich was born he suffered a rare syndrome called IDS (Illusion Detection Syndrome). He could see illusions everywhere, with no knowledge if they were real or not. After his wife Tammy died for unknown reasons, Alexander became a scientist but a chemical fell on him and the IDS went on full blast. He could now become a illusion and use the power of illusion against criminals - the chemical also activated another disease he had, ASDS (Advanced Sonic Detecting Syndrome), and so he could use the power of sonic.
With these new found powers he resigned from being a scientist and became a hero.
He is currently dating Karen Parker, a civillan, although she is not aware of his hero status.

Character Description: Samuel Carlson was a research scientist working to develop weaponry for the goverment. during his time with the goverment he turned down many lucrative private research grants from many sources. After the completion of the his latest bio weapon, he recieved a email stating the following "this is your last chance to reconsider, no-one turns us Down no-one" this message was from a temporary email address and was virtually untraceable, two days later the he came home to see his home in a bio containment sphere apparently his wife and child had been brought down by an unknown pathogen that had been delivered earlier in a standard parcel. Top members of medical staff were brought in to find a cure, the virus was completely new but being shown the make up and structure of the virus Samuel recognised it immediately it was one of his eariler project that had been abandoned due to moral grounds. It had fallen into the wrong hands and the weapon had been made for real, a super virulent virus that could infect anyone in in an area for a 2 hour period then leave the area completely safe, and most importantly not it could not pass from one person to another so could be specially targeted to small groups. Samuel knew that as the virus never reached to stage of production the cure too was never finsihed, he rushed to the military archives to find the file for his work, upon finding the file, he saw to his horror that the files on the virus and indeed the cure had gone, he was forced to watch in horror as his Wife and child died before him powerless to help them.
This was the turning point he vowed that no-one would again suffer or lose their family due to his work, he found that many of his old and abandoned projects had vanished too, after finding out there was a traitor in the millitary he picked up the trail finally finding that many of his weapons plans had found their way to the Voltar company who he remebered turning down a substantial grant from previously.
Samuel left military employment on personal grounds and began work in his own lab, he vowed he would make one last weapon. After months of work it was complete, the power suit, one item that would allow him to become the ultimate weapon. Using his power suit he became Quantum Singularity his one mission to destroy all the weapons he developed and to take them out of the wrong hands. This mission has lead to many confrontations with Maximillion Voltar and more recntly after trying to stop a weapons test there was an accident that released an interdimensional being into Paragon city, this being known only as The void of darkness has lead to a number of confrontations as samuel tries to banish this entity back to its own dimension

Character Description: Simon Austin, despite having loving and open minded parents, had a hard time growing up in a small Texan town. Because of his mutations, a local religious cult known as the Devine Sect made his and his family's life a misery, his mutations include the ability to manipulate fire, excellent eyesight, above average strength, speed and of course the red and gold wings that grew from his back when he was four. When he was twelve, the Devine Sect made an attempt on his life, and that was enough for the Austins so they left Texas and moved to Paragon City, where the remainder of Simon's childhood was a happy one. In his late teens he met Ms Liberty, who inspired him to use his abilities to help people, after graduating High School, he began training, and although he could not use fire as a ranged weapon, he learned how to use it to trap foes, even to use it as a melee weapon, and to protect himself. His excellent eyesight and strong arms did give him an advantage, and with the help of some of the other heroes, he learned Archery and excelled at it. He designed his costume, and took the name Phoenix Longbow, then unleashed firey vengance on the streets of Paragon City.

The first of many times that calamari would be served to the masses!

But as Heaven’s influence on the world below diminished I became tired of everything, tired of the clouds and the endless playing of harps. So I turned to drink and fell in with the daughter of men but such behaviour is not befitting of an Angel. And so I was cast out, cast from Heaven. And so I am now on Earth a world of heroes and villains finding a place for myself. They say every time a bell rings an Angel gets his wings – that’s crap – it takes at least 15 months.”

Battle Cry: PP chooses not to announce his presence, instead sneaking around the back getting the job done without fuss or mess.
Character Description: PP arrived in Paragon not so long ago, though this is not where his story begins, or ends for that matter. PP can't remember how he started out, or where his ‘powers’ came from. His earliest recollect able memory is waking up on a beach in Normandy. Half buried, and what he feared mortally wounded. Feeling the cold wind on his face, he reached up towards his face and to his horror felt nothing. Having spent some hours struggling he freed himself from the sand and made his way towards the beach head. Looking up, no towers remained. There was hardly any sign of an invasion. “Am I dead?” he wondered. Looking down at his watch, it had stopped. He called out “Hellooo....” but was not answered.
He set out inland until he came upon a farm house. Knocking on the door he stood bewildered and lost. He was greeted by a scream as an elderly woman answered the door. Startled though he was, he was concerned that the ladies reaction had caused her to pass out. Helping her to a chair by the fire, he caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror. Distraught and afraid he stared into his own reflection, though now it represented a monster.
The year was 1952, the war had ended. How long had he been buried on that beach? How long had he been like this? The old lady awoke and asked what sin she had committed to be visited by such a demon. The Patriot looked to her, looking through his long dirty hair so as to find his face. “No sin could be committed to warrant my visitation my dear, not by you, for you are an innocent” He stalked across the room to the fireplace and sat, holding what remained of his face in his hands. After some silence the lady spoke, offering him food, clothing and shelter.
He spent only one evening in her company. Something was driving him on, spurring him. He could sense something calling him. He bid his Samaritan farewell, dressed in borrowed clothes and old army fatigues he left the house and walked long and far, encountering many types of evil and good over the next 50 or so years until arriving in Atlas Park some two weeks ago.

Character Description:
There was a war in the higher plains. Ascendent star gods fought over the omniversal matrix, the primal computer that controls the workings of the omniverse. A shard broke off crashing through the universes till it reached this one. Jason Hutchinson came upon the shard while hiking and was gifted with tremendous power. His body became a living conduit for the energy of the hyperverse the super-dimension where all universes are spawned. Jason decided to use his cosmicaly spawned power for the good of mankind.
Moving from England to Paragon City to study at Paragon University Jason was forced to don a disguise to defend his friends from the Vahzilock. From then on he fought crime as Crusader.
As his power increased Crusader has found himself drifting away from humanity. Now an incarnate of pure hyperversal energy he stands apart from humanity, but always ready to defend it.
