Character Description: Simon Austin, despite having loving and open minded parents, had a hard time growing up in a small Texan town. Because of his mutations, a local religious cult known as the Devine Sect made his and his family's life a misery, his mutations include the ability to manipulate fire, excellent eyesight, above average strength, speed and of course the red and gold wings that grew from his back when he was four. When he was twelve, the Devine Sect made an attempt on his life, and that was enough for the Austins so they left Texas and moved to Paragon City, where the remainder of Simon's childhood was a happy one. In his late teens he met Ms Liberty, who inspired him to use his abilities to help people, after graduating High School, he began training, and although he could not use fire as a ranged weapon, he learned how to use it to trap foes, even to use it as a melee weapon, and to protect himself. His excellent eyesight and strong arms did give him an advantage, and with the help of some of the other heroes, he learned Archery and excelled at it. He designed his costume, and took the name Phoenix Longbow, then unleashed firey vengance on the streets of Paragon City.
