    Its nice, my main screen is a little beat up but that my own fault.

    Its anoying as @)*%. The keys are so small that often the texts I send (and recieve from other co-workers) look like gibberish. The texting/IM fuction has some of those 'emoticons' (I think is what they are called) which is so wonderful to use on a work phone. I'd avoid this phone unless you have keebler elves fingers. Oh yeah one more big feature is 'facebook' on this phone, again a bad idea to have on a work phone imo.

    Regen weak points:
    no def, and limited resist.

    Regen strengths:

    A pretty nice mez toggle (so you can set something else to autofire, I'm thinking Hasten, I used to use dull pain on auto when I had it perma in pvp, but that was for a totally different reason then healing it was for the max HP so I could not get 2 shotted by an EM stalker).

    Endurance out the ying yang. Along with WP one of the only two sets that get this nice bonus to +recovery. Nice for heavy end attacks, and this is synergistic with building a /regen for +recharge. One of the biggest issues with Purples is that they lack a 'end reduction' so you start firing off your powers faster and faster but they cost a boatload of end and you 'may' find yourself watching your blue bar shrink.

    Two (so to speak) god modes, IH could be and almost should be the Regens t9. We get this in addition to MoG. Which when you really build up recharge is up pretty often. I think mine is up 20 secs of every 60ish secs. So if I were to put MoG on auto and keep hitting hasten I am pretty much like a SR or Soft Capped Invuln for 1/3 of the time. I still have my two heals and I have a full blue bar of end to work with.

    I will try to be there Saturday but there is a good chance I will not be playing CoX this Saturday.
  5. DC two of the must have powers from MM are melee (Drain psyche and Psi shockwave). World of Confusion is meh, but nice for slotting up cheap(ish) purples, but also melee.

    I am out of slots so I'm debating about buying more or deleting a 50 to reroll something.

    IF i16 hits I will roll a elec/sheild scrapper, otherwise ta/something.

    Sadys buddy, I was calling you Hostile I was thinking of someone else (le sigh or do I mean Sai). I never insisted that wasn't a bug, I said that the repairmen were fixed, which I still believe in relation to how they behaved previously they totally are. I also did not claim that people said it was impossible I was trying to say "do not be discouraged from running the STF, the repairmen are not OP/Broken".


    Honestly, at the time of the discussion I had not seen BaB's or Castle's posts and believe me I had done some major searching for them. I HAD heard alot of people saying that it was there but honestly I do not think that BaB's said what most people assumed that he said. He never stated that there was a bug or that it was broken. Castle DID (which I think may be overstating the situation). The bug that exists on live currently is NOT the same as the OP BUG that was on live a month ago.


    Repairmen bugged=yes (I will give you that).
    STF broken= No.
    Telling people to call a GM to take down towers before they run the STF= well know you how I feel about this.

    remember bonfire does minimal damage but has a huge KB, so if you don't actually defeat the repairmen they will get their heal off. Who knows maybe they have some range now to it and its not a point blank heal.

    I have found (oh good lord, im going to be accused of lording again) that if you stand where they spawn each tower has a specific spawn point with 2 damage auras (even WoC works) the ticks will overlap enough to prevent them from getting off their heals (most of the time) yes they may get 1-3 off per tower but that is nothing like it used to be a month ago when every heal was hitting.
  8. I know I am confusing people by saying mission #, there are two outdoor maps (well three if you count atlas) the 1st: spawns ambushes that you kill then finally Reichs appears. The 2nd: the normal council outdoor map we are used too with the base at the far back end. The mission objective is 'question 5th'. This is the mission I am asking about.

    So that mission you just need to kill X number it doesn't matter where? I only ask because other 'question' type objectives typically have specific mobs you need to take down (I'm thinking of the psychic clockwork mission, where you need to defeat every boss mob).

    STF repairmen

    So, after a huge discussion on a global channel, I went to sift through the boards looking for Redname posts about the STF repairmen.

    This is what I have found so far:

    the infamous BaBs post that everyone keeps talking about, it does not state that there is a bug or that the STF is broken only that there is conflicting posts about repairmen being bugged.

    He clearly states on 9/3 that there 'is' a problem with the repairmen.


    Clearly, the repairmen are getting off heals occasionally but it is not at all like what they were doing a month ago when 'every' heal was going off if they were dead or alive. This is what I was trying to explain to some rather 'hostile' VB09ers. The STF is bugged in that sense but not 'broken'.


    I'd like to thank Voodoo for his thread in which he got flamed for asking the simple question "can anyone show me the proof". It was where I was finally able to track down these threads.
  10. While normally I would totally agree that stalkers do not add much to a team, I think the 'cuda SF is a bit different.

    There are 2 click glowies that only spawn after you clear the boss mobs: mission 1(post cut scene) and mission 3 (I think, or maybe 4 after you enter the 5th collumn base). So after the boss goes down its easy for the stalker to run back and find the glowie (which btw typically is back near the entrance).

    Typically when I run it on my stalker in the last mission, I try to have everyone clear a path to the red room (it just makes it easier if there is a team wipe) then they stay in the red room while I free and lead the Patrons back to the room. With the exception of GW they are almost always being held captive by a single minion. They still follow you even in hide which is nice.

    One thing about that that 'kill all' power of the stalker. It is nice however, using the dom power and then the corr power results in the same affect so the only time I typically ask or use the stalker temp is when we have had a team wipe and by the time you fight your way back to the red room it is at max capacity. Then its an awesome thing to have the stalker go T9 run into the machine then the lazer room and clear the room (interesting sidenote, Reichs can go into the lazer room and not take any damage, so the stalker better have some good def up when he/she is trying to click that glowie).

    I do have one question for everyone, on that 4th mission (I think) the outdoor 5th map where we have to 'question the 5th' does anyone know what mob we need to clear? I've been told you have to clear near the base but I think I've done that a few times and still had to run back and clear a mob near the door.

    I dont think Master of Reichsman will be a pain, the only real danger is the mission where you realize he is "unbreakable" and as soon as he spawns you can leave the map via the red box.

    You know we don't run speed itfs anymore right? I think the last itf I was on took just under 2 hours. Plus the "nerf" is from 28 to 26!?!?

    I looked over the that list of merit changes looks like its finally time to work out a speed Dr. Q team. Actually, story arcs maybe the way to go, for more then one reason.

  19. Same as Nancy, I missed/came late to a few sessions. I always made up the xp to get back to level range.

    Honestly though, does anyone really care about omg you are 50 and I am only 48!!! I thought the point of this exercise was to play with fun people, meet new people, and run content on largely compentent teams? I can see why if people were spread out over a 15 level range it would cause issues but a 3-5 level range, heck just LK up/Mal down or just play smarter if everything is +4 to you.

    I think people are taking this "no cheating" thing way to serious, I doubt even (hewhomustnotbenamed) laughs a little when people go on a tirade about "cheating/cheaters".

    I will be there tonight, but im bringing a lvl 1 and I expect to be 50 by the end of the night. If not you are all a bunch of cheating cheaters ripping me off of my well deserved XP.
