Mystique who frequently changes between male and female to get her(his) way.

or there's Xavin who pretty much changed gender originally for love and now seems to switch from male to female dependant on his emotional state

Im confused what has taunt control got to do with tanking?

as i see it a tank(in general not the AT) is veiwed as somthing that can take the lions share of the damage with the least risk so while blue side a Tank (the AT) is the best option villian side the MM is a far beter choice as a MM you have 6 disposable pets that can die without incuring det surly this is better than sending in a brute who can get det?

you can switch from banes to crabs and vise versa, i have done it multiple times my self

Long Answer: Yep, but only a few. Let’s take the widow for example. Most of the widow stuff will work in the regular costume creator except the chest piece and high collar. So, if I put all the pieces that will work in the regular costume creator the player would then ask “Well this stuff got in there why not the other stuff?” It’s a slippery slope and the costume creator would get sloppy. So the VEAT has its own costume creator and the regular costume creator stays the same and never shall the two merge.

right if I'm understanding this correctly Jay is saying SoA costume parts aren't going into the costume creator because some of them would clip? And putting costume parts that clip into the costume creator is unprofessional?

Say what has he looked at the costume creator any costume piece that isn't skin tight clips at some point almost all large shoulder pads clip, large chest details clip most facial accessories clip specially the vanguard and exo stuff

would adding more clipping stuff really matter when compared to the ability to create a wider variation in costumes?

Personally i say no it wouldn't i don't mind if pieces clip ocasionaly hell some pieces even work when clipping into each other. So please jay (not that i believe he'll be reading this) add those SoA costume pieces to the costume creator let us the player decide if they work or not.

I do see your point but its very resricted

1st personally I've always seen brutes at there most basic as some one who likes to fight they don't shy away from it they don't stand at range and shoot or send others to do there work there in your face types this doesnt mean they take every hit tho. maybe they can see 5 seconds into the future and so can avoid incoming blows but the ability also stimulates certain portions of there brain meaning the more they use there ability the madder they get (yes im using that as my back story) what im saying is just cause your a brute dosent mean you need to/want to get hit

2nd its not the giving and tacking damage that builds fury but the tacking and giving of attacks weather they hit or not so it doesn't matter weather every hit your foe throws at you fury still builds

Claws with some animation changes so it was more primal looking could work think saber tooth or Pitt lots of rending and tearing looking attacks

soul storm and soul huricane in both u say "like ghost widow"

i would try and make it more generic other than that it seems ok to me

Burns a bit of a hit or miss power i have it on my dark/fire brute and at first thought about dropping but it dose have its uses some i've found are

- drop it in door ways and stand the oposit side from the mobs thell spend most of there time running in and out the patch so wont be shooting at u

- Drop it when you have just to much agro and your heals just not recharged yet the mobs around you will scatter and bye u a few more seconds to mash that heal button

- make freinds with any one who has a AOE imobailse herd a group into a corner get them to imob and u drop burn instant BBQ or if your dark like me use midnight grasp then burn patch to toast a mob while you move on to the next

So give it a chance for a few lvls and dont worry about slotting it (mines still just got 1 damage SO in it) you may find you come to rely on it

I was really suprised how easy the second respec was

Its just a shame that grim/smokin never got the reward.

It's plenty different: the blaster doing that needs beating with a nerf bat far more and harder than stalkers do for this reason: to AS you a stalker has to stnd next to you. If you have + perception powers running you get a good chance to see him and whack him with something, or a team mate can put him down while he tries to get away. The blaster can snipe from outside perception range and already has a head start for his road-runner impression.

That was kinda my point the stalkers tactics were no more lo down and dirty than the heroes and lets face it your a villain your supposed to be lo down and dirty

Well since every one else is posting about stalkers i mite as well do it to. my one and only experience against a stalker was during the pvp event there i was quite happily standing at a distance watching my fellow heroes pound on the villain base when bang i was face down in the sea was i angry dam right i was was i angry at the stalker nope (well maybe a little but only cause i got killed) what i was angry at was my own stupidity
1) i was standing in watter so should have spotted the ripples
2)I'm a warshade so could have been in dwarf forum or had orbiting death running or could have had my stealth power on which grants +perception

but i never did any of these things so i died, went to hosp then came back to the battle and all was happy again

so to my point if a stalker assassins you before you start shouting Nerf Nerf look at what you were doing when it happened your in a pvp zone so your effectively walking about with a target on your back

And as for using the stealth, build up, aim, snipe strategy to shoot some one in the back hows that any different than using hide,build up,AS

Noticed im missing stealth/invis not sure where to fit it in tho. perhaps i could move hurdle,health and stamina back a little

Ok so what i want to know is there any important powers I've mist or need to take earlier

I love the dark secondery (mmmmmmmm tar patch mmmmmmmmm darkest night) i tend to use twilight grasp as part of my attake chain so it go's dark blast, gloom, Twilight Grasp, etc etc with the ocashinal moonbeam and that seem's to work prety well

8pm fine by me gives me a hour or so to Alt before bringing on Tainted.

Well bugger guess im gona have to take the jumping pull when i get a resprc. I'll Miss flight

Im curently 22 and have Obsidian Shield slotted 1 x end reducer and 2 x resistance all lvl 25 DO's and im getting held and imobilised left right and center im guessing it cos i dont have anuff slots in there so im asking how many make this power efective as i would really like to kill atleast a few of them before i go down.
