It is too bad that they did not release a statement to inform the player base...I know it is not our business but lay offs are never seen as a good thing and if they presented it to us it would not feel like they were trying to allow it to slip by us and hoping we wouldn't notice...
History has shown that the team was re-aligned after City Of Villains so this does not fill me with fear that the game is in dire circumstances...the photo that was presented in one of the two threads about this topic shows quite a large team and once Going Rogue was released and stable...they may not need a team of that size to sustain the game going forward...
I do agree that we will highly miss BaBs...he was one of the more vocal members of the Dev team to interact with us on the forums...and not just about game discussion...if he saw a thread that caught his eye ...he would post ...it made him feel like he was one of us...that it wasn't "us" vs "them"...Chris did a great job of bridging the gap...
There are other things that would alarm me more about the health of the game and Paragon studios...if we saw server mergers...issues being more infrequent and with less content...the game not being offered at retail locations going forward...these all would make me think "DOOM!"...

Thanks for all the input gang...after reading through the posts and seeing lots of ideas...I think my interest wanes on the character due to a few factors...I do understand that the character is uncontrollable rage...but I guess it is hard for me to invest myself into a character emotionally when he is so powerful...
I know I am a Thor fan and Thor is powerful...but Thor has lost more than his share of battles over the years...especially when it involves The Hulk (and I will not even start on the whole Red Hulk fiasco)...my soon to be brother in law put it in wrestling terms for me "Hulk is The Undertaker and Thor is Kane"...LOL...I do own the Hulk vs movies and had no real beef with them other than I would have liked to see Thor with more offense...but that is a fanboy thought...LOL
I find it hard to invest in Super-Man as well...I think it is more that I find it hard to care about characters that seem to have no weakness... but I will admit I haven't read his books in a year or so and am curious to see what JMS is doing with the character as he was amazing on Thor... -
I do not mean the movie...or the comic specifically...but the character overall...I could never really get interested in him...the origin is interesting...the battle to keep the monster at bay would be a great narrative but for some reason I have never been able to enjoy the character...
I watched Planet Hulk today for the first time and found myself waiting for someone else to come on screen when ever Hulk was on there...I do like the traditional characters such as Batman and Spider-Man....I have always been a huge Thor fan (been collecting his comics for 27 years)...I enjoy the over exposed characters like Wolverine and Deadpool...I even really liked characters that the majority disliked such as Jean Paul Valley...
But for whatever reason I feel nothing but disdain for the Hulk...do I have a hatred of green I have not noticed before???... -

I fell on the floor laughing bringing in the second episode of the series and one of my all time favorites of the Red vs Blue series was great!
This moment made me spit out my coffee...LOL...it was a really well rounded episode...had action...comedy...drama and emotion...I have been following RvsB since the first episode and I am ponying up the cash to get the seasons on dvd...
It is more entertaining tham most of what is on tv now a days... -

They just told me that they did not know how long the delay could be this morning....so I am cancelling my pre order....putting the money on NHL 11's pre order....and I bought Going Rogue today off of eBay from an American seller...I am playing it right now...
Maybe I should have stuck it out but I want to play...tired of waiting... -
Well I called and still nothing....this time they told me that no one knows when the game will come but it has been delayed....she said that they do not have a reason and are sorry...
I am at a loss...I just want my damn game that is 3 days late and that I pre-ordered in April....is that really so much to ask.... -
I am debating if I should call....the website still show as being pre order status...I am just tired of being told to call everyday...and everyday there is nothing there...
Anyone hear anything?? -
I am supposed to get a call tomorrow from EB if the game comes in....called today and a girl stated that it is an issue with the vendor....she was the first person all week who said anything other than "call tomorrow".....she also knew the game...everyone else said "What?"...I asked for the new City Of Heroes game and she said "Oh..Going Rogue"...
She apologized but stated that it is out of their hands and it must really suck to have pre ordered and not recieved anything...
As far as an alternative for the box...there is none....I live 2 hours from a Best Buy...Future Shop...Wal Mart...Game Stop (I know EB is the same and my EB is a half hour away)....I called them all in Halifax and there are none...
I could have bought it online but I collect the boxes...I have the COH Retail, COH COllector's Edition, COV Pre Order, COV Retail, COV Collector's, Good vs Evil Walmart Exclusive cover, Good vs Evil everyone else cover, COH Game Card,. COV Game Card and The Architect box....hell I even have a plaync game card box...
The pre order goodies are not a big deal...but the box is to me... -

I am not even close to being a computer geek but just bought a new video card that was on sale...it is a EVGA 01G-P3-N959-TR GeForce 9500 GT 1GB video card....I have 4 gigs of ram and a Pentium Dual-Core E5300 2.6Ghz 2M 800Mhz processor...
WIll this set up allow me to play Ultra Mode on full settings???...I usd to have a 2 year old latop that allowed me to play with lag in ultra mode and I decided to have a friend build a system from scratch...
Any help would be appreciated... -
I am about to buy a laptop with a Radeon 4200 card...but I am not comp savvy...will that run UM at max settings???

You can also hold 20 things so you can hold 30 enhancements for one of those times when you hit say level 17 and suddenly want to drop level 20 enhances's on your character on the fly.
It's also a great recipe book - something that A LOT of us have been wanting.
I have to say from a multi-server/side alt-oholic point of view, this makes moving gear around between sg or vgs on various servers near effortless and definitely without risk of through-market-interception. -
