Since I'm just a poor boy trying to survive in the big city, I opted to make my friend and his wife a wedding present in lieu of buying one. He and I met many years back over comic geekiness, when he paid me the whopping (in middle-school dollars) sum of four bucks to draw him a picture of Wolverine fighting the Hulk, which I shamelessly copied from some Marvel card set. To this day, he never ceases to remind me of my Hulk/tank/Wolvie rip-off.

Anyway, without further ado:

Ideally, I would've had someone else color it, since I color, like, never ever. I had to research many tutorials in order to even figure out how pros color digitally.

Anyway, I thought you guys might like it. And SHHH! They haven't seen it yet.

It only offers a 5% boost to you max HP, but yes, it unlocks a costume piece, some military shoulder pads.

Cryptic doesn't promote or feature known talent-actors doing any voice-over work in that game, nor was that Player ever a known actor in the business. Hence the confusion as to why he's even listed there in the first place. Is he now to be given production-credit because his Forum Avatar and Board-name were suddenly lifted and modeled over an NPC, posthumously?

But as stated earlier, Viewers can influence actual entries made into that particular Database, so things like this, well-intentioned as it was... can slip by.

He isn't given a production credit -- he's just named in a blurb in the "Trivia" section. The only credits given are NCSoft and Cryptic.

I like the new one better, but with reservations. I think the art's better, the writing's better, although -- like some of you - I wish the story had taken us into the character flaws of the Surviving Eight a little more slowly.

It's weird, though, that I already have an impression of some of the personalities from the Dev statements on the boards, and they don't quite fit with the characters in the story. For instance, NOT ONCE did the Statesman in the comic say 'It's coming soon,' or 'We're looking into it,' or even 'The powers are working as intended.' It makes me wonder how closely Waid is paying attention to character motivation.
