"Building a Better Tommorow" sounds like it has a deceitful tone to it. I could just imagine it playing when Tyrant addresses the crowds atop his tower saying he's building a machine that will replicate vital medical supplies, when in reality he's creating some giant death exterminator robot thing to send through to Primal Earth.

I adore "Welcome to Nova Praetoria", don't think I've heard a more sinister theme for a city since I first set foot in Grandville.
-
Quote:But atleast I'd be convinced it wasn't. I'd feel safe with a cop on every corner and a Seer hovering around, rooting out the occasional dissident.I think you'll fine the crime rate is as high in Praetoria as it is in Paragon City
What is it with you anyway, GG? You seem to be playing the 'he acts like a good guy, but I know things!' game. M'kay, two can play that one my female friend!
The Resistance might be fighting for the people, but they're led by a man who is simply just blinded by one goal, and it's not the freedom of the people. Cole, even though he might have just caused a few tiny hiccups, still keeps the city as safe as it can possibly be. Without him and his armies, Praetoria could sink into anarchy, with factions carving out their own little parts of the city and civil war erupting. Scott's not going to fill that power vacuum, he just wants his wife back, he doesn't want to end up running an entire empire.
Anyway, I got my bit off my mind. Sorry to threadjack. -
Personally, I'd join up with Emperor Cole!
A clean living, Clockwork robots that will gladly do all the little things, food on the table every night, keeping the streets safe, yep, I think I could find myself settling into an imperial lifestyle overnight. It'll be better then trying to scrape a living down an alleyway or in the sewers where the Syndicate can pick you off or you can get torn apart by a bunch of Ghouls.
Of course, I'd always be plotting on how to advance myself, because I can be such a devious type if you give me the chance. -
The option to do so should be under the 'Advanced Misson Objectives' thing when you go to make the objectives for your arc.

Weren't those always there? I seem to remember hearing it alot even before I17.

My Bots/Storm Mastermind had some sort of weird hybrid between a Night Widow and a Kin, so Claws/Psionic/Kinetics. After he buffed me and my pets, he proceeded to tank both Ajax and the Wyvern mobs while I destroyed the projectors. He'd already drained Ajax of his endurance when I turned around and got him down to half health.

*takes in a deep breath*
DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
But seriously, the posts above state what needed to be said. If there is going to be a CoH2, it isn't going to be out for a long time. -
Yep, sure was a good event! Although the constant lag caused me to crash repeatedly, it was a blast. I thought we'd be fighting Praetorians for this particular anniversary though as a nod to GR. Ah well, I still got the RV/Winter Lord/Eochai/Jack of Irons badges.
-
For the moment, I've given up on trying to get back into Union. I gots a nice lump of shiny badges though, but the lag and the amount of times I DC'd was beginning to annoy me. So... I'll try again before ten.

Dangnabbit, why must college clash with half of those times?
So, speculation! What zone events may these be? -
1. Yes, it is possible to have patrols. When selecting the mission objectives, go under the Advanced options to find the Patrol option, set the enemy group and the Patrol's difficulty as well as how many you want.
2. Absolutely. A second enemy faction can come in the form of a Boss, be present in a Battle, or as a Patrol or Ambush.
3. Unless you manage to find a map that has spawnpoints RIGHT next to eachother, then no, we Architects can't select the spawn points for our bosses/collectable objects.
Hope that helps. -
I'd so love the leg part of the CoT robes, the one that covers the legs all the way down to the feet. Hell, why we're at it, what about the Paragon Protector helmets or patterns for their costume?
It'd also be nice to have the proper horns that Trolls have and not ones that look shiny and metal. -
The Hound barks with pleasure at a returning player! Welcome back to Paragon City and its dystopian twin, the Rogue Isles!
-
Can't you edit the save paths too? I did this with a boss who had an alternate stronger version, but still the same name.
-
Thought up a new one, Marshal Jason Blitz.
He's the leader of the renegade Arachnos battalion on Warburg, he's in control of the most deadly missiles in the world, and there is that badge saying 'Whoever controls Warburg controls the world.' I'd like to see Blitz himself! -
Oh yeah, this is certainly like something I was talking about in that other thread. It'd just be something that makes players feel like the city is actually in danger. /signed

Perhaps some REAL zone invasions? Rather then having the sky turn a different colour every time something bad is going to happen and the players being the main spawn points for the invaders, maybe we could have things like Arachnos fliers landing in the zone, deploying troops, having the troops on the ground fight off against some Longbow soldiers that spawn when this happens perhaps? And have the Fliers face off in the sky against a large wave of Chasers? I dunno, just something to make it FEEL like an invasion as opposed to one that feels more dead then Ghost Widow.
Also, new factions, new baddies, new areas, new missions and arcs, and a full-sized Rularuu the Ravager! -
Sebastian Frost.
We never see the one who is actually in charge of the Family, we know it is made up of independant crime syndicates that have come together and the more loreful among us know that Frost heads the Family altogether. But we only see him in the most annoying-to-unlock arc in the game which is given out by Viridian, he doesn't appear anywhere else in the game, I don't think his henchies even mention him.
The Center.
Also another big and evil mastermind we know nothing of. He only appears in Virdian's arc and he's only described briefly in one of the blueside arcs.
Count Alphonse Crey.
This guy has been in a coma for... how many years now? I wanna hear something from him! -
So... so Nemesis is simultaneously running an interdimensional nightclub, leading a group of time travellers, being an Arachnos' mad scientist extraordinaire while also posing as that same mad scientists' future self AND leading his own army?
Lord Nemesis officially has too much time on his hands. -
While I wasn't affected by this patch too much, it did render one of my arcs pretty much completely obsolete. The reason for this? The final mission is riddled with allies in order to deal with the large amount of stronger enemies if you are alone. So, that's one arc of mine down already. I have to admit, I do really hate to see this happen to the AE, which is pretty much the first of its kind in an MMO and it might as well be the last for how many people have actually attempted to exploit it for gains. I can understand where the devs come from when they do this though; they've released this awe-inspiring device that they've worked hard on that gives us, the players, the chance to let our creativity loose and how do some of us repay them? By creating exploitive farms with buffbots and one-boss custom groups. So, this patch hasn't affected me so much that ALL my arcs are down, nor has it stifled my belief that the AE can one day be truly magnificent and exploit free with everyone trying to think up some elaborate stories.
Li'l question on this though: The RWZ maps? Some, maybe all, have turrets or Vanguard soldiers or both that are there whether you like it or not, they just come with the map. Do they count towards the reward cutdown too? -
Awesome! A Cimeroran map that's in the fresh air! Thanks for the pictures Aeon!

I am officially convinced. Demon Summoning looks brilliant and I am all excited now. April! Why are you not here yet!?
