Is it possible to make a female and male version of an enemy?

I just started work on a story arc I came up with, but right away I ran into a snag: I want to make there be a male and female version of one enemy, but putting male and female before their names makes the name too long, and I can't do anything with spacing to make it work.
So, is there any way to make there be two enemies with the same name?

How about something like:
Octimo-F
Octimo-M

Or the old Latin approach:
Octima
Octimus

Hmm... I think that first method will work! Thanks!

Can't you edit the save paths too? I did this with a boss who had an alternate stronger version, but still the same name.

Yes. Initially create them with two different names. Then edit one to change its name. The save file will be based on the original name while the display will show whatever the chosen name is. The one headache is that having the same display name may sometimes make it difficult for you to tell which is which if you need to make changes later on.

That is the other way. Just make your character/critter with the same name, but change the filename it is saved to. (Or more convenient even, open the existing one, make the changes, and just save it to a different filename. Et voila: second character with same name.)
I did that a lot for a group of weird ninjas that have all the same look but slightly different powers so they are not that boring.

Stick in a space, so that the text is moved slightly

Example

BigBoss
BigBoss

I've done it a couple of times

The save path method is a great way to do this if you also want to vary the look of a same critter.

For example I have an enemy group of Genies who have some human servants, and mostly human servants. I've created 2 or 3 different looks for the servants and kept the powers the same to add some spice to the visuals with 2 or 3 variations per servant/critter and then just named them slightly differently in the save path.

SwordMinionF1
SwordMinionF2
SwordMinionF3

these are what I see and the players see

Sword Dancer (this ones in green/browns)
Sword Dancer (this one is in brown/reds)
Sword Dancer (this one is in grey/browns)
