  1. Try filing a /bug report instead of a /petition. Two different commands for two different processes and groups.

Or, you could do as the text describing this forum sections say and email support@coh.com

EDIT: Since accounts are handled by NCSoft, you may want to open a support ticket on the PlayNC support site.

Then submit a /petition giving the character name, server, zone you started from and zone you were going to and ask politely that the character be moved to the zone you were going to.

IIRC, /stuck doesn't work if you are too far from the edge of the area you are in and a character that is falling would definitely be too far from the edge.

What happens is that /stuck reads the current location and tries to move you to the nearest valid location a specified small distance away. Since there is no nearest valid location in the middle of the void, it doesn't work. You have to get close to a side, top or bottom. Again, this is just what I recall from an explanation I was given a little over 7 years ago.

Most voids have a floor, it's just sometimes a really long way down. Since you can't die from falling damage, you can wait until you hit bottom and try /stuck again or the Pocket D Teleport that won't work during a fall. Sometimes, but not often, logging out and logging in will also correct it depending on which void it is.

I can't comment on the OP's problems with the Team/League UI disappearing or the Trials since I don't team. I've also not experienced any disconnects.
  3. The output from CoH Helper is more useful than DXDiag logs since it also includes game settings.

Be sure to right-click the downloaded file and Run as Administrator.

They'll wander in sometimes in the morning and go "Hey... store was down. I bet that pissed some people off. Ah well, we're going F2P in a few weeks anyway... where's the coffee?"
The store website and servers are handled by NCSoft staff in Austin, not by the Paragon Studios staff.

Well, since they aren't available yet, we aren't really paying for 400 PP/month either. Yes, they have been accruing since July if we are subscribed, but since they aren't visible anywhere and can't be spent anywhere as of yet, you can't really leave out the Sig Arcs unless you leave out the free PP as part of the sub. If we weren't going F2P we'd (subscribers) not be getting them at all.

I believe the F2P model is part of what is supposed to be paying for the Sig Arcs anyway, otherwise we'd have had something like this introduced long ago.

So yeah, they really do fall under the concept of what you were describing about sub fees since you were talking about things that VIP's would get as part of the sub that non-VIP's would have to pay for.

Paragon can be sure that any character they create will not infringe on Marvel's copyright in any way.

They have no such control over us.

Unless that was meant to be humour, in which case:
Be sure to tell Bastion ... er ... Citadel ... that I said hello.

You also forgot the Signature Arcs we'll get for free. There is supposed to be new Sig Arc's each month and non-VIP's will have to pay $5 for them.

So, for those that use the server transfers, they'll be paying you to play the game.

Of course, that doesn't fit in with some people's "I'm getting less!" arguments so it will likely be ignored as well.
  8. First I'd have to actually pretend there will be a CoH 2.

yes, ive talked to him afterwards, in fact several times, i didnt helped.

several ppl on global channels have said that the same happened to them and they dont bother with mender arc anymore, they just run itrials. which i actually had to do to overcome that stupid glitch.
never had such problem before. all other characters i got to 50 were prior incarnate trials and it worked just fine and without problem.

i thought some one should be notified about this.
Then you need to file a /petition in-game on that character. You may also want to file a /bug report after the petition.

You can also email support@coh.com like it says in the forum heading.

This isn't a forum for official technical or QA support.
  10. DXDiag is overkill, and doesn't report any game settings.

Download and run CoH Helper instead and post the log from that directly in a post, not a linked item.

  15. Just an FYI.

Global Channels aren't specific to certain servers, they go to all servers.

That's why they are called Global Channels.

Of course, she's not worried about me stalking her for a few reasons.

There is a rather large wet area I'd have to traverse.

If I started getting anywhere in her vicinity she'd only have to say 1 or two sentences that begin to explain a complex mathematical theory and I'd be confused and stunned for hours. And unlike my Blasters, I have no ability to use my most basic abilities while in those states.

Neither of which are what Torment and Agony posted. The "simple eh" method they posted doesn't work.

I already knew that if I went into the window to change the date and time it would show me UTC or GMT. Several more steps than the "simple eh" method.

EDIT: As a side note, in Windows 7 if you right-click the time and then go to Adjust date/time it shows it there immediately. No need to switch to the Time Zone tab as in XP.

Meh. I wasn't expecting her to swoop in and tell you how wrong you were, or even that you were wrong. She has enough people that she has to keep telling they are wrong as it is. She doesn't tell people that aren't wrong that they are wrong, so you should be safe here.

I was just waiting for her to come in and expand on what information had been given and do it in such a manner as to make my head spin.

Right-click the entry for the game.
    Properties.
On the Extra Command Line Parameters (Advanced) line enter the following:

    maxinactivefps 5

    OK
    Launch Game
    Go to Desktop
    Launch another instance of Game.

This will drop the fps of whichever instance of the game doesn't have focus at the moment (the inactive version).
  23. Open Launcher.
    File.
    Settings.
    Advanced tab.
Put a check in Allow multiple instances of a game to be launched
    OK
    Launch game.
    Go back to Desktop.
    Launch another instance of game.

You do realize that you don't have to close the dialog window to fight, don't you?

You can even drag it out of the center of the screen if you are the type of person that clicks on enemies to target them instead of using the keyboard.

mine is eastern so i see UTC-05:00

that would be UTC time - 5hrs

    simple eh

    suggestion makes sense
Right-clicking the time in my system tray doesn't tell me anything of the sort.

It gives the standard taskbar/system tray right-click options.

Yes, I have the time/date set for my time zone.

I haven't seen that right-click behavior in any version of Windows that I've run, all the way back to Windows 3.1 The only version I can recall not having run was Windows NT 4.
