Trim down The Hobbit?! But it's such a short, light read already! There would be nothing left! Gah! ::throws hands up in the air and explodes in a puff of melodrama::

It's long been apparent that practicing Mad Science repulses your hair from your brain, sometimes to the point that the hair disappears completely. I'm not sure anyone's ever discovered why...

I know, right? Some people are just jerks. They would deny other people from having something simply because they themselves can't wrap their brain around the concept.

There may be a mechanical reason it can't happen. It could be that the game doesn't properly allow for two objects to occupy the same point of attachment on a character and dual weapons, thus far the existing two-handed melee weapons, and shields all occupy the left-handed slot.

Then again, it could just be that the devs randomly hate clipping.
  7. I've never done the Abandoned Sewer Trial. If it's anything like the trial in the tunnels under the Hollows, which I've been on two failed attempts at, I imagine it's something I generally wouldn't want to bother with. But if they added it to the LFG system I might queue up for it at least once to give it a shot.

It'd be nice if the animation(s) could be broken up such that the initial strike plays when the attack is clicked, and then the rest of the animation only played if the attack hit.

There's so much more superhero stuff that could be added to this game. Costumes alone: golden/silver/bronze age costume packs would be dope. Maybe even a 90s pack full of stubble, long hair/ridiculous mullets, pouches, imaginary muscles, and invisible feet. (Okay maybe not a 90s pack...)

    But yeah. Anime...yawn. Mythology...yawn. Tron...yawn. Traditional MMO styles...yawn. Fedoras...yawn.

Let's get some superhero ish up in this bish!
On the one hand, I agree about the comic book costume packs. Masks/cowls, in particular, are largely terrible in this game. Painted on with no lens options... ears nonsensically present when they're supposed to be covered... white not showing well due to the manner the spandex is painted on... ugly.

On the other hand, all that yawned-at stuff is "superhero stuff"...

I always loved that song. And the bit with Eowyn and the lord of the Nazgul. But the rest of that movie is a blur to me... a blur that may be rotoscoped.
  11. And for all we know the Persians may have thought the Macedonians *looked* pretty stupid even as they discovered why it is that the hedgehog may never be buggered at all.

I don't necessarily have a problem with the idea of unlocking costume pieces, but every costume piece so unlocked should be unlocked globally.

And no, there aren't enough options. There will never *be* enough options. "Enough options" is the impossible dream, the unbeatable foe, the unbearable sorrow; and the game will be better if the devs keep trying to reach that unreachable star.

Or are upset about roman armor being an ITF thing as well?
I wasn't aware that the Roman Armor was unlocked via an Incarnate TF, given that I unlocked it myself before Incarnate content was live. In any case, I'm personally unhappy with any costume pieces unlocked beyond level 1 that aren't globally unlocked. But that's not relevant to the fact that 'locked behind Incarnate content' is 'locked behind Incarnate content' (ergo, six of one and a half-dozen of the other) regardless of the method of said locking.

  15. My favourite part was how the article was almost 2 years old and was about a species that we've generally known about for quite some time. I can't wait for the discovery of the gecko to hit.

I have children(not really) I wish them to be watched while I go to work. I have money from working. You have time and wish to do something. I'll pay you to use your time to watch my children.

I have beans and I want cow. So I'll call them magic beans and surely someone will be daft enough to trade me a cow for them.

Essentially, but not necessarily, which is why it doesn't.
