Obviously not given the unsupressed movement of Speed Boosts and such.

One could say you're getting the audio version of mud tracked around your house.
  3. A pretty fair review, I'd say. I rarely sympathize with issues with controls in MMOs, though. The first thing I typically do in a new MMO is jump into the options and make sure the controls are configured to my tastes (or as near as I can get it). Of course, I've always played these games with gamepads, too - even back before WoW/CoH came out when I briefly played Ragnarok Online.

I'd love a pure toxic damage blast set. And a Slime Mastermind set (with toxic blasts) - it could use retextured semi-transparent Hydra models.

Great, now every time I see him post I'll be envisioning him going "Woo!" and/or falling flat on his face and then gesturing not to hit him as he gets back up.

It is within the meaningful boundaries of *this* discussion. And most other discussions, for that matter. It may not be a perfect vacuum, but I believe it's the closest thing to it we've encountered in the universe. The vacuum-ness of any other vacuums will have to be judged against it, for it is the current reigning king of vacuum-ness.

You could say that magical space fairies prevent the loss of body heat with their powers of discomancy and I'd say it's "not far off" because it describes the same end result - not freezing to death with any sort of immediacy.
  8. Because you could take out the "during doomsday scenerio's [sic]" and the question would still work. That's why.
  9. If I'd've known this had James Marsters in it I might've given it a look. The description in the guide just said "pilot" so I didn't even flip over to check it out. In my head I imagined it would be some silly show about someone who had been shrunk to three inches tall.

I find that DOs don't protect me from mezzes at all, which allows many bosses to stand a chance of completely destroying many characters I have that don't have built-in mez protection regardless of having DOs (or SOs, for that matter).

Heck, once the characters start getting up towards 40, it seems like every other enemy has a mez, boss or not, and regardless of my Defense or how debuffed they are the mez will land and the Doom Cascade will commence. Which is why I began to hate playing my Fire/Rad Controller.
  11. I make a lot of characters, but many of them don't even get to level 20. I easily get disillusioned by slow progress.

    The reply?

    "sokay i can just doorsit"

I didn't know what to say to that so I just went right on filming.
"I said I was on to *film* not to farm; there's no XP in filming." That's what immediately sprang to my mind, anyway.
  13. I'll only leave them on for some of my tankers, generally speaking.

He's not far off about the body heat thing, apparently, but the boiling blood thing is wrong. And it appears that holding one's breath is generally a bad idea, making lung capacity kind of irrelevant.

I haven't joined any extra global channels in a long time and I think I got rid of the couple I had joined (or else activity in them naturally evaporated). I don't like monitoring multiple chat tabs, and there's more than enough information scrolling through the global chat tab as-is (even with me removing System and Rewards).

"Become"? I already find it annoying. As I find all TFs annoying.

If 'forming the 24' is so much more of a bother, that's a problem that should be addressed rather than a reason to hinder 8-man iTrials.

    Valid observations for her age.
As I recall, the DC Superheroes line of Barbie dolls come in boxes of a variety of colours.
