I have a level 50 Electric/Forcefield controller. I put the medicine pool on him for survivability issues. As for how good he is, He is definitely lower damage than any of the other 'troller sets, however the electric holds and end drains make him a melee survivor. The gremlins are insanely stupid, but they are effective.
I only took the three bubbles and forcebubble. Forcebubble is great on respec trials.
Definitely a "team" player.
Tempstra. -
I built my latest scrapper with the idea of being an AoE killing machine. I therefore went with Spines/Electric and the physical mastery epic due to the endurance issues. Survivability and endurance were huge issues until I started the mid-30s. After that, he's been everything I have wanted from a scrapper.
I'm not much of a farmer, but the only thing that even scares me with this build is the ghosts from Black Swan missions. They tend to kill me pretty quickly.
Tempstra. -
It took a bit of time to get the right build, but my spines/electric scrapper is an absolute killing machine. Endurance was the biggest issue until mid to late 30s, but once that was resolved, he's a thing of beauty.

Are you saying like put slash commands to put your Media Players music instead of the coh music...
Because if thats so then i would love that idea! to be honest...
Would also like it for the fact that others can hear the same song as well..
like set it up for /teamlisten or /selflisten for us. -
I use spines and electric and I love it. It was difficult to find the right combination because of endurance issues, but once that got solved, I am not putting IO sets in and that makes a significant difference.
Lvl 41 at moment. Using Obliteration set in Quills and Scirrocco's in lightning field.

Quote:I honestly think Snowies plan would help alot to buy common salvage does take around 80 tix to do, and the random rolls are really pointless because you don't know which one to roll to which salvage you want since its from 10-25 30-35 and 40-50 i believe and its pointless to do that.. 8 tics for that.. i don't like that, i completely support Snowies suggestion.. He does have a very good arguement.. btw guys read before you post it does seem that you are losing because you are not understanding it.Yes, painfully. You are so blinded by your market bias that you are failing to understand a basic premise here: I could care less what happens at the market. Marketers like yourself have so poisoned the well that I don't care what happens to anyone's niche market. I've turned to other places to get what I need when it comes to uncommon or rare salvage.
You fail in logic. I can't buy what isn't for sale.
A fact that I'm aware of.
However you fail to understand that I could care less about the market and the fact that I am not talking about the market. I am talking about the AE Vending system alone. The market can proceed on its merry way in peace.
I have a solution to what I've said I feel is a problem: common salvage costs more than uncommon salvage within the AE vending system.
Why, yes, I did know that. You are avoiding the point: multiple rolls raises the cost of common salvage. -
Okay, i and alot of people have been having alot of problems lately with slotting and stuff like that trying to get enough salvage to make recipes and doing all of that jazz giving us 9999 reward merits for no reason at all, that is useless to the toon without the proper salvage to make the salvage. Solution, Have WW only on the training room sever to have it unlimited stock like of everything, either have us pay for the stuff we want to buy or just let us grab it... its not difficult... but it would be alot easier.. to mess with.
Second.. I seemed to realize before a couple of issues ago when you were testing bases and all on the test server you gave out to every new sg over 1bil prestige or so to build there base... what was the reason why you all took that out??? Solution put it back in.
Problem, Training room copy.. Okay, it would be nice to know if its down when its down its kinda annoying to know if you should be logged on or off to be able to copy... for we don't waste precious gamer time.. which leads to my next question when you copy a toon over do you have to be logged off the test server for the copy to work or can you play while its transfering..
Solution- fix it... its really hard to know when your toons are copied, and also just clarify if you have to log off or not.
There is my rant i hope you all consider my ideas. Will make all training room players happy.
One other suggestion..
Put Booster packs avaliable for free under the test server and buy cape and aura in the test store... would be alot of fun to test all of this stuff out without having to do the cape mission and aura mission. -
Quote:This one is really badass i love them all of these :PWell, I guess I'll throw my creations in the mix. These are costumes for a AE storyarc that I've been working on for a few months. Without giving the story away, these costumes fit a new "persona" for each of the Phalanx.
Note: I'm not a fan of over the top "hokeyness" when it comes to my characters or costumes. I like a more "real & gritty" feel, kind of like if it was something that could be seen in real life. While they may look nothing like the canon characters we have all come to know, I feel that these best portray a new, or realistic, Freedom Phalanx.
BACK ALLEY BRAWLER
MANTICORE
POSITRON
SISTER PSYCHE
STATESMAN
SYNAPSE
That's all I've been able to make for the storyarc with my limited time. But I have rough drafts for the rest.... just need them to increase the file size for the AE arcs :P -

Now here is a big question here...
How will the percentages work now for powers for brutes and everything etc.. the defense wise for tanks and brutes and everything like that would it go to a tank when you go hero or will you still have low resistance/defense and more damage output.
How else would you switch this would MMs/Controllers be possible if you do vill/heroes or will it be doms/controllers corrupters/blasters tank/brutes stalkers/scrappers but what about defenders and PBs/WS and widow/spider????
This doesn't seem complicated But i think we need more details about what is going on here... especially since this supposed to be let out soon.
The trading system from hero/villian pretorian and rogue and vigil has to maybe accept anything from anyone.. in a sense because it really does get annoying trying to play a team together and you are all teamed up and everything but yet you can't help each other out if you don't have inspirations to hand over. I do by the fact get annoyed by doing LGTF and Pocket D missions.
By the way i would like to have to be able to see the hero/villains powers if you are the opposing side... and bonuses and all of that it would just make more sense if you are teaming with them and all.
Another thing. What about badges??? Would you be able to have access to all the badges from heroes and villains exploration? and all of that, and also the TFs would we be able to access everything now?
How will powers work will everyone be able to have access to every power like brutes have every power for tanks and doms for controllers and when we do a switch do we do a complete dom/controller so like a Archtype respec??? or no???
Hope that wasn't to much for you all but i hope that covers alot of your questions. -
Quote:Ok, so. If I'm one of the gray options(Rogue/Vigilante)... Why would I bother going over efully?
I mean, the markets are more or less the same(Selling the same stuff, not quantity). And if that's the only difference then why wouldn't I stick near the middle and enjoy both side's content?
UNLESS there's more? Oh please tell me there's more.
I would love to see something like... the PPD attacking Vigilantes?
Maybe contacts on the one side don't talk to you? At least the pure evil/Boyscout guys. Only the "gray" contacts will deal with you? Maybe some new contacts get scattered about the zones with some "gray" content.
What I'm saying is... If market accessibility is the only thing that differs Rogues from Vigilantes... Why be anything other then a Vigilante(For the hero market)?
If you're a Hero or Villain, when compared to the new options. The only difference is you can't team with as many people or see as much content.
Doesn't that make the new options vastly superior to the old?
Lol are you expecting this to be batmanwhere he helps people and the cops are always on his tail for no reason at all.
-
Quote:I think it would be more like the Valentine event. That in which both sides get different missions but the same contact depends on which side you are on i think strongly that you will be able to play all the missions if you are teamed up with the opposing side, but i can be wrong. I disagree with merging the markets it would be more screwy because of how bad it would be if we had villains side then we would be in trouble because of the way expensive things are, but if its played out that it would be equal then stuff becomes less expensive then sure do that, but its also a coin toss for both on that. I have a question What about Supergroups? Will there be one for each side still or can you join either or now?First of all, thank you for coming on and clarifying a few things for us. However, I still have a question. You keep mentioning that rogues and vigilantes will be able to team up. But will they be able to have their own missions on the opposing side, or will they be totally at the mercy of team leaders? Or...will some mission contacts be available, and some not?
-
I have a question for the complete collection pack and all does it come with all the booster packs as well?
-
I've had problems it telling me its the wrong password when i tried to access it when i know for the fact that its the right one. I got to the point that the game telling me please contact support. But i just exited out the game and reloaded and tried again and it worked eventually, but it was really annoying.

I think the reason spectral is targeted is that it is considered a pet. This means for instance if you had a mind controller or illusion controller, you could actually deceive the spectral and have its fear effects work for you, versus against you.
Tempstra. -
I love this idea.

Quote:The "Deflected" pop-ups were a big help in providing some visibility to defense (i.e., those Force Fields are actually helping), but what I'd really like to see is an (optional) mission-end pop-up that provides some metrics:
- Bubbly Bubbler's defense buffs prevented 8625 points of damage to the team.
- Dark Lord Darkity Dark's to-hit debuffs prevented 6988 points of damage to the team.
- Sonicy Joe's resistance buffs prevented 7944 points of damage to the team.
- Healy McAurarocker healed 817 points of team damage.
If those four happened to find their way onto a typical PuG, there are two certainties:
1) No one would be taking any damage, and
2) Since the green numbers would be (mostly needlessly) flying throughout, and their health bars were always full, someone would say "Great heals!" -
Mine has always been accidentally hitting the run key button and going directly into a mob as a squishy.
*sigh*
Tempstra. -
I think this is a bug because if im correct you can't get PVP lvl 50 recipes without killing a lvl 50 villain or hero in RV only because you can't do it in warburg you will get exemped. So this is a bug it might've been caused by adding the PVP badges. Also if im correct the game has to post of what they changed in the game... Just hope they fix this soon.
-
i'd hope so.. but apparently that ain't gonna happen soon.
But this is supposed to be as strong as a granite tank without stoners weaknesses. -
Get them all the lowest you can because all of them can work all at once and there is no difference of percentage or anything they all work the same.
-
Alright here is what it looks like right now.. got 52.5% run speed into it as well hope you guys see it as well now!

Defense right is called to make sure if they don't hit you they don't hit you right if you have enough they might score maybe some hits but with rooted and all my regeneration will regenerate that in a fast amount of time. My build i have right now on my toon i have franken slotted and have no prob with mud pots even i don't even lost a ounce of end.. and i barley use dark consumption sometimes i use that as an another attack.. but no problems... Rock armor i don't see any use for it period you can't put it on with Granite and i only put it there for anything to put my 7.5 run my LOTG +recharge and another LOTG for another slot for +10% regen. I usually have 3 Slots into swift but im wondering it might make a difference im thinking of just removing the slot.. The 4 slotted attacks and stuff that was just for damage buff... i got that into there because we all know that granite lacks speed damage and recharge if i can keep there aggro with my mud pots then soul drain and attack i think i have enough to get my damage back up to normal without the granite armor. I added another Hetacomb into midnight grasp +dam and removed the slot from mudpots the eradication. I took off the slot from swift and now it has 3 and i put the other one under midnight grasp for 15% acc bonus. Since i seem to miss alot.. unfortunately. I hope this answers all the questions.
