Well, I *didn't* ask about it, if that reduces your blinding white hot rage for 'that game.' I merely laid a guess about the i16 release date in relation to 'that game''s launch.

I heard about the launch day nerf, and my first thought was GO GO EMMERT IDEA-OF-FUN DECISIONS ACTIVATE.

Yeah Virtue is pretty amenable to teamage.

Are you on VU2009, VU TFs, or another virtue-centric global channel?
  4. When is CO planned for release? I'm laying odds i16 comes out in the same week, maybe the week before.
  5. To the OP:

    Nope.

I haven't played the beta and stopped watching the forums a while ago. I have totally formed my opinion on the words of people here that I trust plus the inane ramblings of so-called professional MMO magazine playtesters who IMO tell us the exact opposite of what the game will be like.

As said above, it's the players that make CoX fun to play, the game is just a fun interface to goof off with them

    Famous last words

The Phalanx Computer and the Romulus rez stun + Ambush will be killing many overconfident or inattentive players.

Unfortunately this is about all you can do for yourself.

However since there happen to be children playing this game too, I'd feel totally justified to report the offending party to the mods and keep reporting until I got some type of response via e-mail to confirm they were aware of the situation. The game is rated T for Teen, don-cha-know.

Oh sweet irony, you bring a smile to my face at the oddest of times.
  10. Arc Name: Attack of the Clones!
    Arc ID: 296831
Faction: Neutral (Meant for Heroes but I hate not letting Villains have equal opportunity)
    Creator Global/Forum Name: @Teikiatsu
Difficulty Level: Auto-scales to L45, but based on the difficulty of the opponents I generally recommend L26 for more variety of power mitigation, plus solo players might have difficulty.
Synopsis: A mad scientist has stolen DNA that Crey gathered for their Paragon Protector project, and has cloned beloved heroes for an army to rule the world. The clones may be flawed but they are still powerful and dangerous. It may be hard to combat them but they must be stopped!
Estimated Time to Play: 30-60 minutes, Single Mission, 7 objects to destroy and clear the last room. There are Patrols and Ambushes.

This is not intended as a story mission, it's more of a skills mission. Can you make it through the gauntlet unscathed?

So far the people who have run the mish with me have liked the challenges offered. We've had TPK's with almost every team, but in the end the mission can be overcome. Normally it takes one good slaughter to get the players sync'd together as a group.

Your mileage may vary, as always. Have fun

    I'm scared....

So far I am not impressed. I've lost all my personal contact info and I can't navigate easily, and the layout is distracting.

This does not initially appear to be an improvement, but then again I'm not paying for it. I'm sure I will get accustomed to it eventually but right now it seems like they are trying to hard, that makes me worry for the game itself.

Other options include some sort of raw, elemental force, perhaps born as a result of emotion or a surge of natural energy. This could easily be heroic or villainous based on the element or concepts.

A gravity Singularity that gained sentience. Take grav control and kin as a troller or grav control and energy assault as a dominator
  13. Between the Hurricanes and Steamy stacked up you can forget any kind of dependable stealth or confuse. The Dispersion, Steamy, and Hurricanes combine for excellent defense. The therm shields and steamy also combine for excellent resistances. They also offer lots of other special defenses like anti-drains, etc. The AoE from the bots and MMs make keeping them occupied to sneak in grabbing blinkies difficult too.

    Sci-Fi -vs- SyFy

So long as they keep producing shows I like to watch they can call themselves Stinky Poop Salad for all I care. I will continue to pronounce the name as 'Sie-Fie' and spell it as SciFi.
  15. L54 /ff, /storm, and /therm RoboMM bosses, with a little elec/elec brute or dom on the side.
  16. So I took a breeze through the mish, really nice setup. Lots of nooks and crannies to catch people in. I assume you'll add another challenge or mob type after this one is completed?

I look forward to trying this one.

Nox I run the weekly Master Saturday runs. That being the Master of the Statesman TF badge runs, no deaths or temp powers. I will tell you any tank can do the STF and they can even do it without a single death to themselves or their team. If you want to run a regular STF any time send me a tell ill gladly form a team or just come along with one of my Pirates. There is nothing in this game someone who is determined to do cant do. They just need the help of people who are willing.

Good Luck on your STF if Im not on it its lots of fun.

    [/ QUOTE ]

What BT said. Show up on Saturday at the boat, 7 pm CST (after the Hami raid), there should be people forming teams.

Are you interested in an STF to get your feet wet, or full-bore MSTF attempt?
  21. Pros: Good for specific recipes

Cons: You have to find people who want to go through TFs all the time.

Cons: People want to play AE more than TFs lately
  22. So will redeemed villains get APPs and fallen Heroes have access to the PPP?
