"When the server list finally gets merged do you think there would be much interest in arranging an odd day for something like this? Where those not on a highly populated pvp orientated server can say hi and show their leet skills."

Sorry if you misinterpreted my orignal post as crying about broadcast PvP, that wasn't my intention and I actually stopped worrying about that many issues ago. I was simply pointing out that our EU friends should not cross over and assume a friendly atmoshpere will be waiting for them like some sort of long lost PvP family reunion.
Im just trying to point out that there is a VERY vocal minority that is exactly what you have described. That is all they are though, a minority within a minority. Im sure the EU players will quickly learn who to avoid if they so choose.
2. You understand the pvp section is notorious for being full of trolls right?

Don't look at this as an opportunity to make a lot of new friends, b/c many US players are frothing at the mouth and simply looking at the merge as a chance for more targets to chase down with their psi/nrg Blasters.
you obviously have had a bad experience with broadcastpvp... my best suggestion is ignore the 15 y/o xboxlive spawns.
4. Well if its enough to make the missing HP just the +damage. Procs are always good.

Debatable, but normally ppl go with corrs because of scourge. Defenders do have better buffs and debuffs though (also debatable whether that is a significant enough factor in post i13 pvp)

2) Herdicane used to be pretty decent back in the day - how is Herdicane now? (Can one "pin" another player in the corner say in the office map for example)
For powersets with no repel protection, yes still possible. Only downside is that hurricane can be detoggle with a simple stun/sleep/hold.
3) From what I've read one needs to build keeping in mind 41 points of KB protection / use sets that boost total HP (Titanium in RES powers and Devastations in the blasts) / movement (SS + CJ + slotted Swift + slotted Hurdle)
As you can see with the build psyrene posted, yes. All of this is very well covered in it. He has great affordable builds that I have used on a few of my toons or adjusted to fit what I was wanting.

4) Build suggestions and Power choices ? Power Mastery (for Power Buildup/Temp Invul/Force of Nature/Total Focus) or Electricy Master (for PSink / Charged Armor).
There are def a different ways to go. Doing something more then a simple hold or attack and the shield will be very situational though. Really would come down to preference and what you would shift around to fit it in the build

Power choices such as Leadership vs Medicine / Siren's song (would it be handy vs say Bubbled MMs).
Again, playstyle and whatever play into this. Sirens song got hit with the mex changes just like everything else.. so not really a huge advantage, but great for set bonus'
6. This is for 1v1?

Needs more HP. I take it you dont want any purps/pvp IOs in the build?

If your going to keep the 6 slots on the snipe change of of them to the Ex Con dam/int.

Change the Ti Coat in Arctic Fog to the rest of the karma set and the kismet 6%. Better bonuses. If you dont want the 6%, then do something with an end redux.

Might consider a dif epic. Could drop the stealth pool all together and grab Lev for jaws/hiber/epic pet.

Main thing is more HP, otherwise everything else is kinda just nitpicky and power selection stuff for a toon on a budget.
7. Not really sure how I missed it, but your going to have to change up the slotting on SJ back to BotZ KB IO and either 2 jump/ends or 2 micros to get your KB protection back to 41. I think I need sleep.

Only other thing I can think of is drop 2 slots off on aim, drop maneuvers for the epic pet and 3 slot the pet for the purp set for the 32 HP. Really though your good on HP (16 off cap) so you would be losing alot for that. (12.5 rech, 9 acc) Just something else to consider

Looks pretty good otherwise.
8. Suggested changes...

10. TehFiri

Server merge

In all reality nothing is going to change though. The EU players will be able to join the NA crowd with 150+ pings, then they will get used to it or get sick of the lag and go back to what they were doing before (at least in ref to pvp, pve 150 ping doesnt really matter)

I would guess the freedom will still be the one with the most pvp. Not many other servers survived pvp wise when free transfers were given out.
13. I got a couple things... You need more KB protection. I dont know if you were thinking veng was perma or something, but it isnt. your short a bit.'

Sleet is very nice to have.

I would suggest soul mastery for PB rather then power mastery for PBU. Also get a nice ranged hold out of it and a pet for easy HP if you so choose.

Alternatively got Lev mastery for hiber and jaws.

Overall better on HP, but thats about it :/
14. All you people creating this edrama are retarded.

Why not just save everyone a waste of 2 weeks and have a team cap meeting, maybe talk about having a round robin tourny instead of a playoffs, because the team integrity is pretty much gone. It would end up just being a glorified KB. Or could just call it the end of this 'season' and then we can cut all this bull**** and start working toward the next 'season'.
15. The chance is the same in and out of arena. Any rep worthy kill will give you a drop chance.(whether you get rep if in zone, or not if in arena) If you are in arena you will still get put on the rep cool down timer and also drop chance cool down.

MMs are pretty cheap builds also (this duo might have a real hard time gettin kilss but youd be annoying as hell). Since you are going tank you have inherent taunt. Plus more HPs so choosing fire/ss or elec/ss is very viable.
A couple of reasons. Both have their own advantages and disadvantages.

Tanks get higher base HP and then overall higher max HP. They get inherent taunt with their attacks. They also get lower base damage as well as a lower damage cap (which doesnt really matter in pvp, but w/e). Also, unless this changed since it was last tested, Tank resists get hit harder by DR then Brutes.

Brutes get a higher base and damage cap. Rage inherent (which doesnt mean much in pvp unless your into fite klubing). Higher overall resists because, as backwards as it sounds, Brutes resists dont get hit as hard by DR. Lower Base HP and in turn lower max HP.

So really then you have to decide which is a better trade off. Do you want higher HP and lower damage/resist or do you want lower HP and higher damage/resist.

Fossilize is also funny.
17. As a lot of people have mentioned before, I enjoyed the high paced action, diversity in builds, and that your powers worked how you expected them to work.

HD killed the enjoyment of playing a buffing/healing role.

TS killed the high paced action. It feels like your playing with lag ALL the time now, not just when you have bad internet.

Global Resist (along with DR to a great extent) killed the role of buffing.

DR... lots of things wrong with the curve of how things are DRed. Thats a whole nother bag of blind cats.

Ya Cold/Darks are pretty powerful in 1v1s. If you dont care about 1v1s, just do either toon you like better. There really isnt any major burst damage from either, its kinda all just doting ppl to death (moreso with dark).

My understanding is that they want those toons only for pvp purposes and those toons would not be able to participate in any pve action.
This wish would make no difference to me personally. Although, I just don't see it happening.

By the way, since most all pvp leagues and ladders have set rules, regarding certain powers and AT's. Couldn't this be solved by just not allowing incarnates abilities to be slotted?
Though related, not really a follow up.

As for free toons/IOs/Accolades go, honestly I would just want some way to get these things through PvP, rather then only PvE. After you get your toon to 50, get a build on it and IO it all, thats where the progression of a PvP toon stops, after that its just a tool. Everything before that is just a hurdle to get there. If they were to add some sort of progression for PvP toons I would all be for that.

The only way Id truly want free stuff would be if it was for a specific event on a closed server or some such to allow everyone interested to enter at a even level instead of being limited by how much time/money that person to setup a toon.

The leagues and ladders attempt to make it accessible to all ATs and power combos. It is against everyones best interest to ban things unless they are broken. (For instance, before DR, stacking veng was banned, though you could still have it in your build for IOs and sets) Obviously this does not address the issue of accessibility.

In this game the I dont play my toons as each are individual. I play them as if they were tools I take out of my tool box and then move on. Nothing more.

Yes i do have km/regen in making, but have put it on hold, as didnt realise how many there where.

Word of advice though, if you are going KM purely down to the OP CS, it will no dubt recieve a nerf at some point.
In regards to blasters, Sonic, Fire, Rad, and Arch are all great primaries that work very well. The only real reason ppl roll psi is because they dont know any better and/or they like how the delayed damage stacks.

As far as secondaries go, dev, MM, elec, and fire all work just fine as well. They each have their own little tools you can use. The main reason why people choose EM (other then it being FoTM) is for the boost range (which makes a huge difference) and the other utilities it has (Conserve Power and Power Boost)

There are plenty of options to use, some be greater because of certain powers then others, but all still work just fine. Some people would just rather keep things simple is all.
