Improved server stability = We made being in game more stable, but changing characters will cause a crash.
Enhanced server stability = It never crashes when we test it.
Increased server stability = It isn't crashing for the people who used to crash, instead it's crashing for everyone else.

So very true
Game Impovements = Get to da choppa, its gonna blow!
Surprise additions = Things to fill the gap while we try and make the better bits work.
Top Secret plans = Top Se...oh, wait -
There was a quiet but pointed little hiss from Von Schaden at Pistols words, the noise of two well-kept wristblades sliding into position. It was followed by the metallic crick of Alphas robotic knuckles.
"We'll stop pounding the Marcones after they've paid us back for all the grief they've given us over the years, and after they've absconded from being Recluse's lapdogs. Thats all they were back in the day, and their nothing but an annoyance now. End of." -
I miss the days of SHIELD. That was the Super Human Individuals of the Earth League of Defence, not Nick Fury and Iron Mans group. I didn't even know they *existed* until my SG got generic'ed
I miss the gang we had back then. If we'd had the I13 base changes way back, maybe we coulda done more...
I do miss the Old Hollows, simply because the mobs that were there were MEANT to be there, not packed with more damn Skull and Hellions.
I miss the days when my lvl 50 tanker was used. He's probably better now then he was back then, but he never sees action these days. -
((You do know TP is impossible in D, Doc?
))

Maybe some sort of macro would be nice then. I've never got the hang of the little watsits, but a Macro that used an emote, possibly a new one and, at a certain designated point, it changed the costume to a pre-defined one.
But yeah, for now its the good ol' manual flip n switch -

I found the new MOG on PP's pretty darn funny.
Old MOG: PP becomes an annoying SOB and takes its time helping your entire team face plant.
New MOG: PP tries to go all SOB with the cool MOG animation....2 seconds later...it's dead.
The problem I seen with PP's and the new MOG was the AI never changed....it still performed like it was going to be immortal for 30 seconds and just stood there waiting on its inevitable death.
So in other words the PP's were no longer feared...actually they were a joke and needed to be reverted to the old style of MOG to work right and be feared once again.
[/ QUOTE ]
Wait, they actually did change the MoG on PPs at one time? I musta missed that XD -
Alpha snorted, turning his cold, featureless glare on the Countess and Pistol.
"Even us 'Mercernaries' have morals. Besides, money is hardly an issue for us. Not when Omega here can blow vault doors clean off their hinges, and my friend the Captain doesnt even need to do that. We work for higher class clients than simple animals..."
Von Schaden nodded, the mask focussed on Bathory, remembering the day she had tried to get him to work for her, and not the Corporation. Once given, however, the Captains word was his bond. -
Aye, if their not red, they probably should be...seems like a bit of a mess up to me
Also, rez on pain dom should be red, not a complete rip of Empathy =P
Come to the darks side! We have red! XD -
If anything, I imagine them wandering around in either the Rogue Isles or zones like Cimerora and the RWZ. Zones that are actually challanges, and with enemies worth hunting trophies off. Every noob hero and villains has beaten the pants off of Longbow/Hellions/PPD/Skulls.
Also, groups hanging around as either allies or enemies on Monster Island would be cool. Either they welcome you to join the hunt or see you as competition.
And /Signed for the Victorian Gent look ideablunderbusses, long-rifles, big taches and monocles, thats the ticket eh what?
-
Wow....All I can say in my defence is *ahem* -produces megaphone-
EPIC FAIL!
-hangs head and shuffles off-
Ok, but the point about old MoG on PPPs and some AVs still stands. E-v-i-l! -
Aww man, these should be on TV, or something XD Whoever made these should make one for TV, at any rate. There fantastic!

MoG. Moment of Glory, for those like me that struggle at first with the many, many acronyms (thats things shortened down into a few letters
)
Old MoG; Can still be seen in use by Regen NPCs such as Crey Paragon Protectors, Valkyrie and some of the Praetorians. Possibly others. The user is set to low health, no matter how high they start out, and gain a glorious ammount of defence, resistance and, iirc, regen. It was the Tier 9 of the Regen set, leveled with all the other 'Ultimates'.
New MoG; A 15 second regen boost.
...No, really, that is. A 15 second burst of rapid regen on a HUGE timer...
I know I'm not the only one that thinks this is daft. There should be, IMO, one of two things happen.
1) NPC MoG is nerfed to be level with PC MoG. So its a ludicrous regen boost for a few seconds. This would actually be nasty on AVs and such, seeing as they have high regen anyway. Potentially more nasty than old MoG, on them, now I think about it. Either way, the less desirable option.
OR
2) Old MoG is re-introduced. What was the logic behind removing it in the first place? As far as I can see from playing a regen scrapper, it cripples the set in comparison to other Tier 9 powers. If it was a PVP issue, the fact that most of the hardcore PVP base seem to have given up anyway totally negates the whole point. If there was a valid PVE issue, I am so far oblivious of it, and would love to be enlightened. -

Obligatory Ravenswing post stating that this is clearly far more work than the OP appreciates.

love it

Likewise. If a post DOESNT contain the obligatory Birdy stamp of time-issue/dislike and/or dissatisfaction then there are only a few reasons;
1) Its so funny he's bust a rib laughing.
2) He So thouroughly dissaproves that he will not lower himself to post upon such a vile piece of tripe
3) He...he actually...approves? -le gasp-
Spoken in jest
Please dont kill me >.> -
Von Schaden simply shrugged, but there was a distinctly metallic 'clang' as Alpha smacked his palm against his faceplate.
"You are offering that without the CEOs go ahead, right Will?" he said after a second, "If he DOES join up, first off that gives us *yet* another person who a lot of people want locked up or dead..."
He shrugged finally, stepping back and folding his arms. "On your head be it...sure as hell ain't mine..." -
"You're a prime class headcase, I'll give you that."
The voice was cold, clipped and precise, in the way that only a robot could manage. Techbot Alpha stalked from the shadows, followed by Omega 1. Even as they came to stand beside Williams seat, a shadow peeled from out of nowhere, forming into the shape of a man, clad in a long black trenchcoat, officers cap and wearing a gas mask. Captain Von Schaden, one of the grimmest Assassinns of the Rogue Isles, and Alphas primary compadre in crime outside of Tau Team, his robotic squadron.
"The fact that Paragon hasnt been hit lately is partly due to us being busy with our own problems," Alpha snapped, leaning against the side of the sofa, not even sparing a glance for the others except for William. "Besides, the Heroes are *dull*. They whine about all their precious principals, when in reality their such awful hypocrits. I've *faced* the only one I really respected, that being Positron, and *won*. The only real challanges come from the Rogue Isles. Amongst those we actually hit, the name Techbot Alpha is known well enough, and Von Schaden, and the Corporation. If we *cared* what those little inbreds in Paragon thought, we wouldn't be who we are, would we? *I'd* still be just a Crey robot, and that would probably be bad news."
Von Schaden simply nodded, the featureless but penetrating gaze of his mask sweeping over those he did not know. His was a name that did cause terror, at least in those who listened to the rumours around the Rogue Isles.
"Oh, and one more thing," Alpha added, hand straying to the laser carbine slung by his side, "You *ever* pull a stunt like that with *any* of my technology, and I will have Max here hunt you down and bring back your head on a plate. Insane or not, I don't care."
Alpha leant back, sparing a brief glance at the other seated figures, before turning his visored glare back on Mechano. -
((...want to join in...-itches- Would Alpha be able to drop by? He is the Corps tech Director, so him not knowing would be mighty unlikely...))
-
Its funny how people love to play bad guys. And you dont get much more evil than them, apparently
Scariest thing? It could have been anyone, anytime, still could be. They werent evil, they were *human* -nods sagely- -
The Corporation tech labs hummer quietly. The Generator was running smoothly, everything was going smoothly.
Techbot Alpha sat back in his chair, idly tinkering with a a small device, an atemmpted modification to the common web-grenade.
"Alpha?" A hulking shape loomed in the door, blocking most of the light.
"Yes, brother?" Alpha asked, not looking up as Omega 1, his giant Assault bot sibling, moved into the office.
"I think you need to see this..." Omega growled, and his normally deadpan voice had a hint of both annoyance and worry to it...
A minute later and the base rang with a robotic scream of rage.
"Nobody gets technical with me like this! NOBODY! Run everything we have on this...no, t'hell with it, I'll dive and purge it myself!" Alpha yelled, getting ready to send a personal probe into the base systems. "Technical...I'll give him TECHNICAL! Something to *smile* about, oh yes..."
Omega 1 would have gulped, had he had a throat. Alpha was was normally quite placid, even in combat these days. But mess with technology, especially his, and there was a whirlwind to reap... -

I can't imagine many of them will want Ed quite as much as the Unity Vigil do! After all, we took him in, gave him a chance to show he'd turned over a new leaf, and he turned bad on us. We want him BAD!

Oh, I dunno. The Corp can get pretty original when it comes to vengeance. And they don't have to worry about the constraints of the law.
Evil; its more fun! -
General consensus from the Corp upper echilons is;
Bring the Noise!
Looking forward to see what happens here. Just be aware that Ed is going to be making a LOT of powerful enemies -

Several suggestions to make teaming better have been suggested and a few significant ideas made it to the Devs attention via the old "Quality of Life" thread I believe.
The Devs do seem to be receptive to this but it's going to take a while for it to filter through to the ranks.

you mean no-ones suggested these on the US forums?

Oh, so *thats* what it takes?

Anyhow, OT /signed -
Cim themed base stuff /signed
But not until the give us tech bods some more items to use! -
Also liking it, its probably only a matter of time until it gets re-worked for blasters/corrs, given the want level it has. Hopefully soonish =P

I still fail to see logic in 'Theres no new content for new players'...
They are NEW players, thus its ALL new content to them. They will have done NONE of the missions, NONE of the TFs, nothing, nadda, zilch.
Also, did anyone notice GR's post? That it was Palladium being a better choice for L2? Ergo, we may well get a new guy/gal in for the EU english boards.
And good luck to those across the streamkudos for setting up your own 'speakers and readers' during the interim period.

Welcome to the world that is the game. Things just *are*.
Although, yes, on the most part Longbow are a bit poncy, which is probably why it feels so good ripping them apart with my Crab spider =P
