A small change to teams

I have been playing this game for some time now and always have the most fun while teaming. Sometimes it is rather difficult to find an active team or set one up. I have recently tried Warhammer online and found the teaming system in that very good. They have a system where you are able to make your team "open". This allows players to see who is in the team (levels and archetype) and what the team is doing (i.e missions or hunting). I think with a few tweeks this could really fit in well with CoX. What do you think?

Good idea, any change that makes finding a team or leading a team easier is a good idea.

Right now we just need to wait for someone to say "This has been discussed before"

The team search could do with some more tools for team-based searching (both by unteamed players LFT and by team leaders who want to advertise LFM).

Wasn't it 6 months or so ago that one of the devs said that they'd had some ideas regarding revamping this? AFAIK we're still waiting to see if anything came out of that or if it was a non-starter. IIRC At the time, the devs didn't give much away as they weren't sure that they could deliver a new search/teaming interface.

Ok - I admit, I haven't even bothered to search on this - partly as, iirc, there never were any details, but I seem to remember it was an unusual dev who had had some ideas (i.e. not one who usually does client/UI development).

[/ QUOTE ]Lest we forget the ever-present "On a TF, unable to join/recruit". It would be nice if those players were auto-hidden or there was an indicator for them being on a TF.

And team leaders - it would be nice to be able to contact a team leader as opposed to anyone and finding out they were a member.

Several suggestions to make teaming better have been suggested and a few significant ideas made it to the Devs attention via the old "Quality of Life" thread I believe.

The Devs do seem to be receptive to this but it's going to take a while for it to filter through to the ranks.

you mean no-ones suggested these on the US forums?


@craggy see me on Union for TFs, SFs (please!) or just some good ol fashioned teaming.
