Hmn, I'd say you're doing something wrong, then.
Enemies not watching you? Toe-bomb with Trip Mine.
    Caltrops, good for crowd control.
Acid mortar, pretty much up every mob/every other mob.
    FF Gen, always useful.
    Poison Trap, see Trip Mine.
    Detonator, mini-nuke.

Alpha handles just fine in our SGs teams, and believe me, they steamroller and I don't have a problem 'keeping up'.

    - A new or revamped enemy group to go with it
    - 4 new contacts within that zone
    - Each with a story that adds up to a greater whole
    - Culminating in a trial or task force

    1) Hell no. Not until some of the complete messes that are currently passed as zones get revamped. I.E. pretty much the entirety of Paragon City and a few bits in the Rogue Isles. Paragon is currently filled with copy paste buildings in copy paste configurations that look nothing like city streets. Praetoria, on the other hand, looks awesome. The disconnect there is huge and needs to be fixed.

    2) Again, the older enemy groups badly need a content and graphics overhaul. Most of them look pretty meh nowadays, again, especially compared to the Praetorians. Hellions, Skulls, Trolls, Outcasts, Igneous, Sky Raiders, some Tsoo...the list goes on. Oh, Council and Column are bad offenders. 2D parts masquerading as 3D. Revamp > New shinies

    3) Et la, the old contacts are shite. I mean it. Look through the starter contacts in Paragon. Now look at the ones in Praetoria. Even the Mercy Island contacts are better. Most of them don't even have actual arcs, just strung together, pitiful one off missions. I, as a player with only access to AE tools, spent one evening and one day and got the arc in my signature. So far it has yet to drop off 5 stars, and, in my opinion, would work a LOT better than Azuria's current missions.
Revamp > New Shinies. OR add contacts to zonesl ike Boomtown, Astoria, Perez, all the dead zones.

    4) Agreed and Amen. Each zone could really use its own 'overall arc'. I.E. Independence Port should focus on the Tsoo-Family drug and turf wars.

    5) Hmnn, less fond of that. I remember the Cavern Trial as being a right royal pain dans le derriere. Having a TF/Trial that tied to the overall theme would be good, but having to unlock the contact via the arcs is the same bundle of shite that I ran into when trying to form a LRSF once, and it's made of fail. Mandatory unlocks just hack people off.

Only my second ever attempt at fire, it's hard to pull off right I tell ya I was using a reference for how it should form and all, and for colours. I think the foreground fire came out worse than the background, which looked a bit more natural.
Oh well *le shrug* Thanks =]

    Flipping fantastic game.
I miss the old games where it didn't matter that it wasn't shiny; they had grit, gameplay and plot that would beat you over the head with the characters own severed arm. And it was awesome!

Seriously, nice piece. Love, love, love the inking, very slick and proffesional.

Some suit businessman with a degree in Marketting and Product Management who's never palyed the game, more than likely. If it was all up to the Devs, we'd probably have CoX 2 by now, or something like it.

Caltrops, web nade, poison trap, mortar, overwhelming laser death show.

Yup. And the problem with being either a Rogue in Paragon or a Vigilante in the Isles is that you get treated as if your choice is INSTANTLY to be evil or a do-gooder. All the tip missions are either Hero alignment for Rogues or Villain for Vigilantes. There should be both, in my opinion, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
  15. I'd rather it had four little spidery legs to wander around on. That'd be cool. Not Arachnos styled, just generic tech legs. I don't see it working as a hover-er like the Gun turrets or such.

Secondly, it lets me quickly identify the indignant churls that are not worth consorting with on Virtue.

Uhm...maybe because that is a rendered cinematic not linked to the game engine and it's limits? So, no, you couldn't use that.
Doesn't void the suggestion, but that is a really bad example to say 'Why cant you do this in game' is all.

Yeah, which the devs have since said did not happen in canon. People can kvetch and try and push their personal fantasies as much as they like, but the Devs said it was retconned. End of.

Except that there was none. Other than that attributed by people who should go ask the gutter for thier minds back.
  24. Hows about a 6th bonus thats actually useful? 5% Toxic/Psi res is pretty pathetic given how good the rest of the bonuses are. Needless to say, when I get round to actually slotting any Purples, I will only be 5 slotting them.
