    help?

    Hi all I'm back....... still have A LOT of persistent problems. My Browser still has constant pop ups and redirects making even googling answers for my self all but impossible. The good news is I got a portable HD and removed all of my MP3's and personal files off my computer. I think its time to do a complete system reinstall. I believe I have all my original Dell disks however i need help. How do I do this?

    Build advice

    I'm working on a Kat/Fire scrapper and I'm not happy with my first build for it here at all. I'm looking to cap ranged defense the best I can and use [Divine Avalanche] to cap my melee. I'd also like to see more Hit points and I'm not overly concerned with +recharge. Build below I had to slot [Gambler's Cut] with a mako set and I'd really rather turn it into a Proc bomb with some Nucleolus Exposures. Scrappers are not my normal gig so I could use some advice please. Note I plan to go Cardiac Alpha.

  3. Not exemplared, just solo badge hunting. Two other people in broadcast in Cap said theirs is not working also.
  4. It's been slotted and working since the day i19 went live with [Spiritual Radial Boost] Recharge and Healing. Logged in today and headed over to the Rogue Isles for some badge hunting. Came across DeathSurge. I rushed on in and popped heal as I entered combat to start up my perma-Energize. HUH? my heal was lower? So I opened enhancement screen and sure enough my Alpha Slot is doing nothing to any of my powers. It shows up active in my Icons. It says its equipped.

    Spider Build 1.0

    I was requested to work up a tough as nails hard hitting Crab build.

    Build Notes:

    1. Budget was loosely set at 2 billion...... I hope the key word there is "loosely" However it should be affordable if you make lower bids and wait a week for IO orders to fill.

    2. This is not a defense cap build. I know a lot of people swear by capping "Defense Vs all". In my honest opinion I've found the best thing to do is layer your armor. Defense/Resistance/Hitpoints

    3. Stealth is in this build it gives a suppressed +def value of roughly 3%. This pushes all defense numbers up over 32.5% from there you can cap defense at anytime by using 1 small Luck inspiration.

    4. This is in NO WAY a leveling build. (Exemp at your own risk!!!)

    5. This build has accolades turned on If you don't have them yet go get them while your waiting for IO orders to come in. The +Hitpoints are important.

    6. Patron power set was not discussed..... The reason I went with Leviathan is the combo on [Venom Grenade] + [Bile Spray]. Venom Grenade gives -20% resistance debuff to all damage types except Toxic which gets a whopping -40% debuff. Bile Spray is pure toxic damage. Feel free to swap it for the Ghost Widow Patron set.... I recommend trying Leviathan first. What other character would you ever have that would take it (Stalkers not included).

    7. This Spider has the Hitpoints of a tank (2200). Its sad though that soldiers don't get a patron armor shield. Resistance simply can't be buffed up like it can with the squishier Archtypes. The resists are between 30-50% (they will take the edge off, but still sting). You will mostly rely on your Hitpoints to soak any damage coming through defense.

    Budget Rad/Psi

    Thanks MrLiberty, I took your build and just tweeked it slightly for myself. It has slightly less recharge and hitpoints. I sold off a spare purple I had hoarded and slotted the build completely. For less than a billion inf it seems to be a solid build I can use. I will eventually slot a 2nd build for serious 1v1's completely proc'd out.

  9. I logged in fine when the servers went up after the patch. I D/C'd about a 30mins ago, restarted my comp, restarted CoH, D/L patch again (I thought maybe my previous D/C was on CoH's part and 2nd needed patch). Logged in and I got the same message as you all. I did the ipconfig /flushdns and I'm waiting on it applying now. I think I may also verify files before logging in.

    I'm interested in Arena Team and 1v1 fighting. In the occasional zone play I'm a capable target caller. As I said my previous build was from IDK i11 or something and focused on +dmg and +recharge. I can Pick up TK in place of Flurry. I agree root times are bad, I guess I'm just used to some of them. The last time I PvP'd regularly my debuffs provided me defense and I was accustomed to hitting like a sledgehammer with PBU + Total Focus.

    Mr Liberty correct me if I'm wrong but from looking at the info in Mid's TK blast does horrible dmg now which is why I dropped it. Wouldn't Proc's be better in MB?
  12. Wow I was not expecting anything till Monday or Tuesday. I didn't think they worked weekends. Correct me if I'm wrong but I seem to remember last time they rolled out a Winter Event and it had issue's we got a 2nd Winter Event =)

    I must have been tired. I meant to take the Heta out and just spaced (was checking the numbers with some purple sets added). I burned a /respec already and worked the build a little different. I spent a hour in the Arena last night and I'm pleased with how it plays now. It's not uber by any means but its a start. I can see where Purples and PvPIOs will slowly start to fit in, which will boost HP and recharge much more efficiently. The attack chain will benefit from the recharge. Right now its a jerky Dom/MB/WD/MB throwing in PL/Flurry where applicable. I could not afford the 3 LotG's and 2 BotZ's last night so currently those 5 slots are empty.

    So I have a Rad/Psi from way back and its pretty much next to unplayable under the new PvP rules. I do not have cash to throw at this build as of yet since I just dropped my entire bankroll into a Alpha Tank. I'm just not in the mood to farm or market right now either.     Ok just want to double confirm....I'm ok with passing SG lead to one of my alts. If my hero goes full villain, I will not get booted from the SG or have my prestige number reset? Just wanna make sure. I like having it show 10million prestige after my name.

The Petition I sent about the Abandon Sewer Trial rewards I selected "General Help" was this incorrect?   24. So I have a Rad/Psi that has been on the shelf since i14/i15. Mostly IO'd for +Recharge. Perma AM/Hasten, Power Mastery Epic, and I'm wondering if its worth dusting off for some playtime. Is it possible to be competitive without PvPIO's?

    P.S. Any comments about how Rad/Psi does these days is appreciated.
