I am so glad to hear about this (though I thought the same as someone on page one, that this was about names being released on inactives at first.) I had just started deciding which toons I was going to delete to make space; now I can move them to servers more active at the time I play during the day.

Burnout; Seriously, I love playing CoH/V, but some days I'm all excited when I log into the game and then my toon sits there and sits there and I can't decide what I want to do because I'm just so burned out and nothing specific seems appealing. I haven't been playing as much in the last year to avoid taking whole months off, and also so that when I do get in game for a static team or to solo for a bit the game seems fresh and exciting again.

Good communication, especially if it is a pug team
People you can rely on to have your back when your blaster just "has" to jump into that crowd of purps
Vet players who encourage and enlist new players to participate in crazy schemes just to have fun in game -

If you just know when you are... some of us just know when we belong back on the farm.

That is one of the most disturbing things I have ever seen...

Ooo, so tempting... but I might have a date to see Salt that night. Will have to check.

You need to be more heartless... like me. I delete toons every week.

It was fun and I had time to bury the two mice my cat brought me- when I was switching toons to go to the Hami, and then again between the third and fourth attacks. He must have been feeling villainous last night as well.

Quote:This goes hand in hand with what Demon Keeper said on page one... just as people are protective of the "scheduled events times" and discourage people from joining other activities, I've seen people try to start raids at other times and they've been told flat out to stop because they might interfere with the scheduled raid (which isn't happening or is days off). The fact that the raid leaders decided to stop leading isn't the reason there isn't any more raid on champion. If people wanted to raid they can, the raids leaders at the time didn't say no one could raid, only that they wouldn't lead them anymore. If someone wants to raid, then start one, lead one and raid. No one is there to stop them. The raid leaders did work around the few people not following, but after a while got tired of it and simply stopped leading. They also said on multiple occasion that if anyone wanted to take their place they would be willing to help them learn and would gladly give them their shot at leading. If no one stepped up, they can't force someone to pick the weekly raid.
Can you honestly blame them for getting tired after more than a year of weekly leading the raids?
At least this is what I understood of what was going on. -
1. Rapid self-healing/cell regeneration, and telepathy. I like the idea that others had about time travel, but with my inability to shut-up I'd go back to my favorite time periods and whoops... the Constitution would have some different wording.
2. Huntress and Oracle; I'm a fan of smart and tough female heroes, especially if they aren't skanky. -
I'm in the same boat- my classes start right then too. It seems to be a common theme when there is something special being released, bad karma?

Happy Birthday GenderPoison!! I hope you have an absolutely wonderful day!

Just remember what Kermit said- it's not easy being green.
It was fun last night, I seem to be the only female type (irl) again. And you probably heard the dogs more than me when I tried to talk in vent on the few occasions. They get yappy. -
Just want to confirm if we are meeting in Port Oakes tonight. I'll speak up in the Static channel when I'm on, but moved my toon (DP/Traps Corr named James Madison) to get him ready. This would be the first male toon I'd get past level 10, lol.
