Villain Hami Raid 7/24

Hey all -

The next Villain Hami Raid is scheduled for this Saturday, July 24th in the Abyss. Teams will begin forming at 7PM EST with the raid scheduled to kick off about 7:30PM EST or earlier if the zone caps.

Since we are also kind of short on EoEs, I would also like to plan an EoE hunt on Monster Island for Friday, 7/23 at 8PM EST and should take about an hour.

As always we need more of the following:
-- LEVEL 50 VILLAINS!!!
-- brutes, with and without taunt
-- corruptors, any really but /pain or /therm are needed the most and all corrs are needed for the pewpewpew of mitos
-- doms/fortunatas, needed for holds/damage on green team

And, as a reminder to everyone, this is the strategy that we use:
- One brute taunting hami with support from a kin and pain doms
- At least four brutes taunting yellow mitos, with support from kin, pain, therm corrs/mms
- Yellow spike team, made up of brutes/meleers to take down the yellow mitos
- "Blue" Assault team of corruptors to take down blue mitos
- "Green" Assault team of doms/fortunatas to take down green mitos

- We'll also be using a bio nuke prior to heading in for each wave. Anyone who can get/bring one will help to speed the raid along ... just send me a tell if you have one.

While i don't hate masterminds, per se, for the strategy that I employ in leading the hami raids, masterminds become more of a distraction ... unless they are /pain or /therm.

I only say this because, in my experience, people don't know how to control their pets and we end up having masterminds on the assault teams and their pets are attacking everything EXCEPT for the correct target at that time.

Now, if your highest villain (lvl 45+) is a mastermind (that's not /pain or /therm) and you want to come to the raid, then please come on down and we'd love to have you.

But, as I had to do for the last raid, I may ask if you have another AT that can be used on the hami raid because we need more damage/holds/etc.

I'm not trying to discourage anyone from coming out to the raid at all, but the time of having a team of masterminds in order to have a successful hami raid is over, as we prove just about every other week.

Great job at the Redside Raid everyone!

It was fun and I had time to bury the two mice my cat brought me- when I was switching toons to go to the Hami, and then again between the third and fourth attacks. He must have been feeling villainous last night as well.

EoE Hunt tonight for Saturday's hami raid ... which I would like to plan on running using the evac-less method (fingers crossed that we'll have enough people).
