So tell me about this server...

Just started back up, wondered if you guys and gals had any words of encouragment for starting up on this server vs. one of the other servers?

-Relatively tight-knitted community, but also fairly easy to join in on the fun if you're in the right chat channels (ones that the most people frequent)

-Love of bacon is a plus

-Plenty of opportunities for Mothership raids, Hami Raids, and all the TFs you can shake a super-powered stick at.

-not overcrowded like Freedom or Virtue, but not dead like Triumph or Protector either. It's at a good number, most nights.

I don't play here, But I hear this server is wicked awesome cool. I also heard they like to goto http://casting.thetester.com/MisterFrog Daily and vote for former awesome member of the Community, Frog to help him get into the next round of Sony's The Tester Season 2. Where he has the chance to win a job as game tester.

Seriously though, Go vote for Frog. Help a brudda out.

Champion is awesome.

There are a lot of really good active supergroups, and a few great villain groups as well. It's easy to find a lot of people to play with (especially in the evenings/late night). Groups like Hammers of Justice, Protectors of Neverland, Justice Force, and so many others are around and willing to include people new to the server in teams and conversation (coalition or vent).

Champion's a bit smaller than it used to be, with a significant 'veteran' population. Seriously, there's a lot of know-it-alls here. Not in a bad way, but you'll have 10 in-depth answers for any question.

The people are generally fun, just beware the drama that crops up here and there. There a several cliques that don't get along, which is the source of said drama.

Oh, and the server plays heavily blueside, and late. The villainside used to be pretty busy, but a lot of those have gone on to new places.

Note: the server uses global chat channels heavily, so if you can get into those, you'll be more hooked into the action.

Basically what Seldom just said. We are an east coast server so the prime time for play is after 8pm EST most nights. The global channels mentioned above have quite a list of lurkers so if you're not afraid of starting things up yourself then you'll get plenty of action around here.

Checking the forum often is a must as many in-game events are announced here.

There are metric tons of cool, fun, helpful people here. I'm full up on characters but I just can stick to any alt I roll on other servers. Champion feels like home.

Also, you guys are slacking. Not one 'Beware the Pingus' ? For Shame!

Oh, beware of the guy that leads the Rikti mothership raids on Thursdays. I hear he's a bit... odd.

60% more drama for 25% less playtime.

While some say its an "East Coast" server it plays much more like a west coast server with a good late night crowd most nights.

Like the others said, look into joining one of Champion's global chat channels, like BMT of Champion or Champions United. Also, I'd highly recommend checking out our Event Calendar. You'll see we've got events going on several times a week, which is another great way to meet other players.
