  1. If you're socketing for your needs, you have a 95% to hit. That means your chance to have one of three attacks fail is a whopping 15%. Now look at powersets like Archery (bonus is meaningless after level 12 or so now) or Radiation (ditto) orrrr the % to Knockback on Dual Pistols.

85% to Get Something Special is pretty neat by comparison.
  2. When we didn't have IOs, Phantom Army is about as overpowered as Mass Hypnosis.
  3. We're a minority of a minority. The reason we haven't gotten illusion is because even the effort of porting it isn't enough of a return-on-investment to bother with unless it's part of something else that's meant to look even.

They experimented with completely ignoring us in I21 and from what I can tell, they realise it worked out just fine for them.

The 'Anti-Non-Incarnate' ray is potentially the dumbest tool I've ever had to suffer in this game's lore.
    Nemesis' totally functional weather machine.
  5. I'd change their damage mod from .75 to .749.

    Just to piss people off.

Tankers are fine, and anyone who says a scrapper can do their job has no appreciation for gauntlet.

City zones don't have regular, consistant spawns including bosses of hazard-zone scale. Surely you know that.

I want non-stop killing of huge spawns of guys that requires no teaming and zoning so I can go kill, kill, kill for an hour. I get that other people don't like it, but don't they have tons of other stuff they can do?

I don't need other people to make my fun, I don't need a zone to have other people in it to validate the way I choose to play.

Don't tell me what I want.

I really like hazard zones the way they are. There are hundreds of things people who don't like hazard zones can do - and now I feel like hazard zones are slowly but surely going to slip away from me, condemning my new characters to lurk in oroborous to go back in time constantly to do nothing that affected anything. Which is exactly what they do now, but they don't have to go through a gate labelled 'TIME TRAVEL' to do it.
  10. Well, since we all left for Champions Online forever because the devs refused to listen to us about Tankers, the AT has, of course, withered on the vine and is now represented nowhere.

    Oh, wait, that didn't happen?

    Huh. Embarassing.

You really, really should endeavour to understand the game before you try to concept major changes to it.
  12. That's nonsense. You can hack alien tech with an ibook. I know, I saw it in a movie somewhere. How much more different could the tech be from Praetorian Erf?
  13. You can already make stupid mysoginistic characters with idiotic ideas behind them. Adding the option of female mastermind minions doesn't really do much but piss into the ocean of piss as far as negative consequences go.

Sure. And in the exploration we find more ways people can make bad charactesrs and a small handful of ways people can make overpowered characters and a lot of work required to make it possible, all on the wrong forum.

Well, that was some fun exploring.

Ah, okay, so by 'Dark Control' you meant 'Dark Assault.'

    Soooo....

Don't worry. Your long national nightmare of going more than a month between new powersets is soon to be over.
  19. Speaking as someone who has now, multiple times, levelled characters doing zero missions from 21 to 33, doing nothing but running around Dark Astoria killing zombies, I can say that I called this back when people were asking for DA to be revamped way back when: That the changes that will be made are going to take away too much of what I already loved about the zone.

I get that you folk didn't care about the zone, didn't like it, could get lost, didn't like the fog, etcetera, but I did like it, I did care about it, and didn't get lost. And I loved that zone the way it is. Now I get to lose that, so you guys can have something that you won't like all that much, to hear tell about it.

(Another thing? I can't speak for everyone in my culture, but I never found Jack O Lanterns creepy, instead seeing them as goofy.)

GG, nobs sav. At least they lowered access to old DA through orob, I guess. And for those who say 'Well, what you had is still there,' there's a big difference in playing a character who goes where nobody dares tread to fight a one-man war against the undead hordes to keep the present threat from the gates of Talos than there is to travelling back in time to a period when nothing happened and all the scary stuff sorted itself out.

Oh well. Yet another way in which my minority tastes have left me behind the game's progress.
  20. Force Feedback doesn't do anything in Jolting Chain, and I think that Decimation doesn't either. Energy Manipulation's mag2 stun is unimpressive in my testing, but Devastation is fantastic.

*8+4, right? Yeah, I've tried it. I was the 1-star that didn't bother leaving a comment.

You couldn't even bother to make it aesthetically interesting, or put a token effort into the writing. Failed as a mission, failed as a farm.
  22. I've got an Elec/Ice skeleton that can more or less translate across, but the build would be coming from someone with almost no direct experience playing Ice/. Interested?
  23. Australian. But I can handle correction when I'm wrong - and didn't come into this thread saying I was the greatest speller in the world.

  25. I like how you whined about my correcting your spelling but had no defence to the claim that your farm isn't very good.

I've gotten better results doing normal missions.
