If the person isn't responding, then either they fixed the problem themselves and didn't come back to tell how it was fixed or they just "live" with the problem and either play something else or just headdesk.
I'm just saying a noticeable amount of people abandon threads after the first post.

That's a typical crash, especially one due to overheating graphics card shutdown and restart.

No, you react badly to my post because you can't separate "uninformed opinion" from "fact".

You're putting an attitude to my text that is not there while assuming a different meaning and inserting words into my "mouth".

Don't blame me for your shortcomings.

    Edit:
You, Father xmas, are one of the reasons I have to make multiple posts to clarify my meaning even after I tried to be clear in the first place.
I end up looking like I'm being condescending(and actually sometimes being condescending to those who actively earned it) because I'm trying to "spell it out with simple capital letters" instead of "assuming that supposedly smart and experienced technical people will understand my words".

    Yep.

I am really surprised they "forgot" to make the spectral War Witch in Croatoa solid again, due to it being the spectral version of her, from Croatoa, that stepped into the ceremony to take the body from Serene.

    2) I have access to everything then.
    3) I prefer the vigilante alignment concept. "Why let the murderers of Paragon City or the Rogue Isles keep doing so multiple times after being caught?"

It has to follow the same rules.

My point was that practically all entertainment is pushing boundaries really far lately.

I have heard of quite a few people who don't bother advertising because people broadcast that they are looking. They just invite and don't work too hard at it.

People are lazy. Many don't like to lead and many don't like to broadcast.

You can't control everyone. You just got to do what you are willing to do and hope somebody else is not a jerk.

Not everybody is in the zone all at the same time to see the first message.

    How stupid a comment?
They repeat a message so that "new log-ins and zone-ins" will know they are interested in a group.

The more people sending messages to the same channel and the more population and traffic in a zone the faster you should expect people to send messages.

Ever try to talk to someone right next to you in a room full of people doing the same?
Nobody means to talk loudly, but their voices, all relatively similar soundwaves, amplify or cancel each other out such that everyone ends up needing to increase their volume just to be heard at close range.

In the case of the game, a chat channel gets spammed by so many people, or people go in and out of range so quickly(zoning and logging), that the "volume" and speed of chat messages needs to increase to catch the attention of the intended target.
This is especially true if you can't send private messages.(This is why I would think it better to allow F2P private message access first. They can't spam multiple people this way and get annoyed in a global channel such as Help when people ignore their only method of communicating easily. Communication is a necessity, not a privilege.)

So, I don't see any problem with somebody even spamming so long as they have about 30 seconds or more between messages, in the same chat channel.
I have a problem with people who judge people way too early and harshly when they are also likely guilty of similar/same at other times.

Yes, there are tons of farms out there already. Yes, people can use those. No, I don't necessarily agree with the access restrictions. I'm merely trying to state what I believe someone else's justification is.
Do they really remove creation access?
I have never heard of such a thing happening.

The only thing I know is you could get a suspension/ban of account for exploits possibly, but even those are rather rare and much less common with their efforts to close loopholes paying off.

I don't think that justification is even real, and it wouldn't be a good enough reason for the way things work.

Honestly, the "egregious farms" are only a problem when people get rewards from them. If they don't get rewards then they are just a really strange or interesting mission.

Putting the rewards later int he tiers than the mission creation access would result in more restriction of farming, if anything, not less. It would reward those very far in the tiers, veterans, a lot more than others. It would encourage those not far in those tiers to not AE farm, either farming elsewhere int he content the developers made or doing content for the content, not for farming.

Anyway, I would rather not lose AE reward access, partly because I have leveled far too many characters solo and use farms now to feed my altitis.
I do very much want permanent AE creation access though, but am unable and unwilling to blow such a huge amount of money to unlock it on other things that I do not have enough interest in.

Worse connection means a DC becomes a crash. I should know given my lack of DCs for the past year plus despite crashes in certain situations.
The live servers can likely handle the load better and have a better connection to players.

Also, it's not a bug. That mission just simply has too many enemies with way too powerful attacks to use against them. Too much information, especially if it uses the magisterium map(which has heavy load even solo on early Praetorian missions).
They can't fix it without likely going on a deleting spree or much more time-consuming optimization of how enemies and attacks work in general.

Honestly, that can be a problem too.
Just imagine how much data that stuff ends up being?

Games could save so much bandwidth(increasing speed while decreasing latency and not hitting data caps) by having identical enemies have identical numbers stored client side and calculated client-side such that the only information that needs to be transferred is "who fires what?" and "hit or miss?".
Of course, that's really simplified compared to the actual way it would work. It's just some insight into how I've been thinking about how to improve online gaming for my own game idea.

I just know this game is a lot less efficient and stable than it could be.

Well, NPC costumes are generated when the NPC is spawned. A bug in how the costume data is used would likely apply to NPCs at the time of their spawn as well.

Is it just me, or do a lot of people seem to post a problem and then never check back on it? Or, do they wait a really long time like they abandoned the game for a while out of disgust?

Yeah, the one character and temporary limited charges thing makes it more useful just for a little fun than using in combat, especially given the tendency for pets to do stupid things.

Honestly, I just want to see an obvious "maximum damage cap" listed with an explanation how it works(either in its own tool tip or the cap and explanation in a tool tip for "damage buffs" that are already there) so things are more obvious in game.

It would be nice if they could adjust things such that whatever damage buff combat attributes showed was not truncated due to enhancements, but that would be too much work. I just used that as hyperbole to emphasize the point.

The amount of damage types is only relevant when they're used. If Barrier granted you resistance to it, you might have a case, but it doesn't. Barrier itself does have a ton of effects though, so it might slow you down if you're on a very low bandwidth connection and don't disable buff number sending.
How does your client side know how much damage is taken and how much a debuff affects things and what the debuff actually applies to?

Either it's a lot more over the internet or a LOT more on the server or both.
It still makes sense that it could be partially causing things like the Emperor Cole Personal Story to kick people with all those enemies and powers that really annihilate them.

"Healing" is also technically a damage type. Strictly speaking, it doesn't need to be (non-negative numbers of damage is healing), but having it be one allows the devs to create debuffs that give you resistance to it.

There's also Electrical and Radiation, which are currently unused, though a few random enemies have resistance to them. Try using a power analyzer on a fire in Steel Canyon sometime.

Not to mention damage types 15-19, which don't even have names at the moment...
So that would be why we get a lot more lag from tons of enemies than we should. They have a lot more information than is visible coming across our internet connections.
Lends credence to my thread in the bugs forum.
