That we've seen. In the two time periods in question, the height of civilization was in the west. I'd imagine that there are alternate past versions in other regions when they held prominence (Egypt, Mesopotamia, China, Japan, etc.).
-
Nearly all of the alternate Statesmen that we've seen thus far have been evil, and if comic book logic serves me right, that would mean that the alternate Recluse's would be good-aligned, and given that in our world, Statesman routinely beats Recluse, it's not too far-fetched to believe that the Recluse's from the other dimensions were all killed by their evil opponent.

Quote:This. SuperFerret is not beholden to the letter of the law, rather he upholds the morality of "don't be a jackass and you won't have a seven foot tall weasel-man sending you to the hospital".Meh, thats why I dislike heo registration. I'd much prefer to be an unregistered vigilante. It gets in the way of butt-kicking for justice when your are obligated to fight on the side of the law.
Then again, maybe the heros and Crey are just fighting a shadow war. Even though I've apprehended the countess years ago, crey snipers still seem to pop up alot. I'd almost say they still have it in for me
He's not human anyway, and while there are laws in human that say what happens when a non-human kills or attacks a human, the law doesn't really restrict non-humans from breaking and entering (or else Crey should be prosecuting all those rats who are trespassing in their warehouses). -

I've noticed this too, but to be honest, I don't pay all that much attention to my arsonist's health. The tier one thugs are just fodder, and the arsonist is gonna die anyway (keeping him alive would require a dedicated Empath following him on most days, I swear), so I just make sure I resummon them when they're all dead. My Enforcers and Bruiser, however, do get my full attention and support.

I'd gladly accept a Warwolf MM in lieu of a Beastmaster.

Quote:Oh internet, how I missed this part. Yes, my statement was misworded there. I deeply apologize. Let me rephrase.<scratches head>
Um, no. The difference between furries and anthropomorphic animals is that the former is liking anthropomorphic animals, and the latter is actually being an anthropomorphic animal.
There's a difference between a "furry" and someone who likes anthropomorphic animal characters. Furries are those who sexualize their liking of anthropomorphic animal characters and gain sexual gratification from engaging in such behaviour. -
Quote:Actually, the stigma of what a "furry" is has altered that term's definition to the point that it does just refer to those with deviant sexual tastes. There's now a difference between furries and anthropomorphic animals, and it comes down to the difference between liking anthropomorphic animals and liking anthropomorphic animals.Okay, dude, people need to stop equating furries with sex. That's like saying "This is anime" and linking a screencap from a poorly-dubbed hentai, while ignoring the existence of high-budget, nonsexual things like Hayao Miyazaki films. You know what else is a furry? This. Here is another. Getting into things I didn't draw myself, we have this and this. I fail to see anything creepy about these characters, and I curse the very loud minority of furries who give a bad name to all fans of the subset of anthropomorphic art - and a quick search on Google will get you just as much creepy stuff, plenty of it creepier than that picture by a large margin, of human superheroes (a search for Sue Storm yesterday, to get ideas on how to render partial invisibility, brought up some stuff that was downright disturbing... with Safe Search ON).
For the record, I dig humans. -
I might MIGHT remake my Will/SS Tanker as a SS/Will Brute, mostly because I'd appreciate the higher damage and the lack of automatic assumed responsibility on a team. I do still love Tanking though, so it's up in the air.
-
I wouldn't want it restricted to a character type I'll never play, but I agree that the look of the power does suck, but its usefulness, fun factor and the fact that I have the "hands on my hips" stance bound to a key make me like it.
-
I don't often play characters that'll cause this as I mostly play tanks, but I've never minded having to chase down a foe or wait for it to return (evil-doers often return to the scene of their crimes). It seems like a smart thing to do for the opponents, which in turn makes the game more entertaining.

Quote:Exactly. They require a little skill (lining them up) and discretion (maybe I shouldn't waste it on one target, maybe I shouldn't lock myself into a long animation if I've got enemies pounding on me and two hit points left and a green inspiration handy). For some people, anything that requires more than rudimentary effort is teh suxxorz (see also knockback, Burn, etc.).
In regards to like knockback, while it takes some skill to use effectively, and is not inherently bad, the amount of people who don't know how to use it (or deal with it) make problems for others, while messing up a melee cone is only a personal issue. -
I'm liking this powerset alot in the time I've been playing it, and I like the synergy that comes later on. I'm only level 20-ish now, and I'm not sure if the choices I've made are any good, so I'm coming here for some advice. The build below is something I came up with in Mids that somewhat represents what I'd like to do, not what I'm using now. Any and all comments are appreciated. Thanks.

I agree with this, and have been saying it for a while. It'd be like the X-Men's Danger Room.
-
I still think that they'd have more success if they attacked without warning. Letting us know five minutes beforehand so we can all get on teams and prepare for the invasion doesn't work.
-
I like the Super Speed auras personally, but that could be that my speedster had been wearing bright yellow since before I knew what color SS was.
-
I'm gonna use green jello as my ice armor.
-
That's what I was thinking. I'll probably just take Hasten from the pools, although I've heard good things about Khelds and the Medicine pool (it's particularly attractive for the Rez power).
-
I've just recently hit 50 with my main (SuperFerret), and I've started a Peacebringer that I want to use a TriForm build with. My goals are to have the blasty Nova form and the tanky Dwarf form be as good as they can be, while also being a decent buffer and meleer in Human form (kinda like how a melee defender would be).
This is my build so far, and how I want to slot it. I'm only level 8, and I'm not 100% where to go with my powers next.

Thanks, I'll probably take the Fighting pool for the extra defense, because I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
-
What about the Fighting pool? I've heard both good and bad on it.
-
I plan on using this combination to simulate an air controller, and I'd like to be able to solo effectively, and be able to take some damage without going *splat*. Does anyone have any advice for me regarding this? Should I post my current build? (I'm only level 12 at the moment.)

How valid is Gravity Control/Storm Summoning for a Splattroller?
