I don't think it turns it off, exactly, but I think you're right in that it might diminish the effect of AA.
I don't know what setting you're currently running Ambient Occlusion at, Sam, but from what I can tell, there's very little FPS drop if you just set it to the lowerest setting that isn't off. (I think it's called Super Performance or something).
It looks much nicer than not having it on at all, and it's not that much worse than other levels of AO, so I think it's a happy medium. -
Can anyone give me a quick summary? I began to listen to it, but I got bored when I began to hear the hosts talking about badges and other things.

I feel like I'm in a perpetual creative slump.
I never have very good ideas for my characters, so I end up deleting them all before they get to level 8. (The 2 in my sig are my ONLY characters) -
Quote:That's a really good idea actuallyAnother nice bonus is to mail yourself an Awaken and a Break Free. Keep 'em there, and claim 'em when you die.
I was also thinking I could keep Inf "packets" stored as emails each with 100K or a million Inf or so each to be up in the air for whatever toon of mine that wants them. -
I despise the tutorial, so I never get the big inspirations. Plus, I dislike the market in general too, so to me personally, it's not something I use or would use. =/

I just rolled up a new alt earlier today, and while I was playing, frustrated by my attacks missing so often, I realized, "Hey, wait a minute! I can send myself some influence and buy those TOs now!"
In the past, TOs have sort of been a thing to laugh at. Now, I just have to send a few thousand inf to my global, and I can pick it up on a lowbie to by a few TOs which previously would be far too expensive for being that low of a level.
The bonus isn't much, but it definitley gives me a bit of an edge at the lower levels and makes leveling that much easier.
(On top of that, the new mail system is especially useful for when you can start slotting DOs and SOs since you don't neccesarily have to save up for them) -

Oh, I gotcha. The devs seem to be out to ruin your fun, Leandro.
First splasher doesn't work on character screens, and now this. -
Hey Leandro, just wondering if there's been any more done since the last time I checked in here. Everytime I load up Atlas or Steel Canyon, I get a little giddy inside because to me, the loading screen is a big deal.

I'm going with DS/Poison with the concept being my character makes the enemies hallucinate that there are demons there when there actually aren't.

I was just about to make a thread on this today, but you beat me to it!
I had a lot of fun doing Keith's arc. It felt like a fast pursuit with no downtime and was very cinematic. I can't wait to see more missions like this. -
I think it really depends on your secondary. If you have something that's slower-paced (like traps, for example), then the whip powers will be especially appealing since they'll give you something else to do.
Otherwise, have you considered dual builds? One with attacks and HoE, the other without the attacks (maybe keep HoE, not sure) to free up some power spaces? -
Good. ****ing. God.
Who has the time to do that? I'm hard-pressed to get my villain to 50 for a grand total of 2 50s, let alone one of each AT, and I've been playing since I4. -
Leandro, would you like my first-born child or a nice gift basket in the mail?

I just wanted to update everyone (as I'm sure you're all very interested) that. . .
This. Is. KILLING ME! ARGHH! -
Because just 2 days ago, I let my account lapse. I figured it'd be another week or 2 until open beta, so I'd just resub then so I could save a little money.
Lo and behold, 2 days later, OB is out!
Excitedly, I rushed to resub my account, and after doing so, it occured to me that I won't be able to instantly join the test server, and that it would take a little time.
The problem is I don't know just how much time, and I'm getting antsy to jump in and check out Demon Summoning and the new graphics, but most importantly (to me), the new UI!
So, does anyone know how long this unbearable wait will be? Hours? Or (please no, please no) days? -
-
Nice, thanks for making these, I'll give them a try.

It's important to note that slotting too much Heal into your Protector Bots can be dangerous. Because their heals are more potent, they wait until other bots have less health before they heal, meaning that there's a better chance of the other bots dieing before the Protector Bot will actually heal it.

Honestly, I thought this year's April Fool's joke was kind of on the "Lame" side of things. The page itself was mostly just a page of text with one screencap showcasing a new Clockwork(?) enemy.
Compared to some of the other April Fools jokes around the net, it doesn't really stand up. (Just do a Topeka search on other April Fools Internet jokes)
