Hi. Is there a way to create water ponds in the base?
[/ QUOTE ]
My suggestion: fake it by using the pebbled floor tiles and color them the shade of blue you desire. That's how I did my lava pool. -

Group fly also has a massive -25 tohit debuff component... just for comparison purposes, a Defender's Darkest Night only does -18.75 tohit debuff!
[/ QUOTE ]
Whoa. I did not know that. Keep that turned off except for travelling with bots. Wow! -
Don't do it dude, not unless you can put yourself far away from everyone else in the group. For your bots it may be great, but it messes with every other players ability to move the way they're used to. This throws their normal tactics out the window.
Stick with using it for soloing using your bots. Personally, if I'm in a group and someone turns it on, I ask for it to be turned off right away, and I don't ever ask someone to not buff me, including the hated SB. -

I just wish I had an option to turn of e-mail in game. Period.
In 2 years of playing, I have received 1 email from someone other than spammers, and that's only because I emailed them first. -

We've discovered having a Stalker on the team helps the last mission immensely - they're the only ones that can get into the "kill rooms" without dying, and then trigger the glowies to kill the ambushes.

What temp power do SoA's get? Just a curiosity, because couldn't an SoA be able to stealth past the lasers with help from Mako's temp? -

Anyone tried it blueside with no MM's?

um...there are no MasterMinds blueside... -
Yep, same here.

Well, I for one feel rather proud of myself and my teammates that we were able to beat down Reischsman without using any of the temp powers on him. It was a fun SF, and we all enjoyed it.
[/ QUOTE ]
As a side note, I was involved in 2 BSF runs last night:
1st try. 8 peeps, no MM's (not that the temp power would have worked anyway), no use of glowies. I have no idea what we did, but after the team wipe with the first ambush, we fought our way back and completely pwned Reichsman.
2nd try. 4 people, I was playing the MM, no use of glowies. Granted, we have 4 players only. We steamrolled the entire SF until main room. As the MM on this team, I assure you Scorp's temp power did not work either before or during Unbreakable. After the first wipe, one of our guys nerdragequit, leaving the 3 of us to try to tough it out, to no avail. We finally quit when I only had 4 hours until I had to wake up for work.
Suffice it to say, after the first run, I was admittedly unprepared for the shartfest that went down the second time -
Seriously? Do we really need one more damn thread about how much the AE has broken Cox? These are more frequent than farming threads now. We need to get a Dev to make a AE has Broken CoX thread, like they did with farming.
Please, someone lock this thread and the others like it. This is getting ridiculous.

Edit: A whole bunch of guys beat me to it. Nonetheless, OP, just stop! -

I'm normally pretty forgiving of little bugs that can creep into a live issue when first released, but the bug with Black Scorpions temp power is inexcusable. First day of release and a temp power to help defeat Reichsman, who is a beast to start with, is bugged?
This is an epic fail for the Dev's IMO.
[/ QUOTE ]Was it reported as bugged during the last Beta build? Was it bugged during the last Beta build? If it was never reported as bugged since the prior beta build, it's not the devs that failed, it's the beta testers. If it wasn't bugged at all, then sometimes code just acts weird, especially in something new that the devs are trying like this.
[/ QUOTE ]
All of the special temps except for the Dominator version of Scirocco didn't work the first time out of the gate; and even that power got modified during testing. Scorpion's just happened to break in "new and exciting ways" each patch after being fixed. I began drawing parallels to Oil Slick.
The SF is completable in its current state, just very very difficult. Assuming it doesn't break again in some brand new way, one more patch should get it. With that given, you can make a reasonable argument that holding up the entire rest of the issue isn't supportable just for this one thing.
[/ QUOTE ]
Either the Dev's once again fail to communicate by not saying 'We are releasing I15 but the Barracuda Strike Force has an error we are working to fix. Be patient.'
OR
Someone, either the Dev's or someone else at Paragon Studios, rushed to chuck I15 out before making sure that they were releasing the fixed patch version instead of broken patch version.
At any rate, with an Issue so light on other content, having a SF near unplayable at launch is fail. No excuses will work here. Not for me, and probably not for a lot of others. As someone who normally defends the Dev's oversights, actions, or inactions as the case may be, I know that crap happens. This fails so badly.
I'm not threatening to quit in a nerdrage like some others have and will undoubtedly do, because this is still one helluva good game. I'm just a little disappointed right now. I feel like it's my turn to stand up and express it.

if no dominator is present to have received the power, then any hold will allow the 2nd part of scirocco's power (the corruptor version of the scirocco power) to spawn a series of whirlwinds, which will then defeat all held foes.
[/ QUOTE ]
I kind of like this note. It allows for toons to diversify their Patron powers and double up on some effectiveness in the final fight. -
[ QUOTE ]
I suggest dividing Reichsman's HP by two. I did the SF blueside yesterday and took 30 min to drop him - that seems TOO long to me. 15-20 minutes seems reasonable.

Comparing the blueside Reichsman to the redside Reichsman, which is what the OP is about mind you, is like comparing a koala bear vs. The Terminator.

"Seriously? Someone mentioned that they had to fix it 4 or 5 times in beta. Is this right, because if it had actually been fixed in beta, it really shouldn't be borked hitting the servers. It's shameful and sad."
That's why I added this line. If it was fixed 4 or 5 times, like I heard, then it was brought to Dev's attention before live. In the instance of something this horribly broken, there's no way that this didn't get reported. If it didn't get reported, what is the testing for? -

This is an epic fail for the Dev's IMO. First, impressions are everything and this has pretty much left a bad taste in everyones mouth. I like the SF in general, and even the final fight for the most part. It's just absurd that the version that hit live had the bug still on the temp power.

On a separate note, I did get goosebumps during Reichsman's cut-scene. There needs to be more goosebump cutscenes in TF/Sf's. -

On the one hand, I can see eliminating exp from the Architect. It would certainly end the powerleveling and make it almost entirely a playground for level 50s.

Market prices are not a measure for balance.
Which is why I said 10%
[/ QUOTE ]
You're right. Market prices aren't a measure for balance. The point I was trying to make is that at 10% chance to fire, the average of once out of every 10 times you die, the IO would fire.
I don't know about other players, but my deaths are far enough between (usually) that there wouldn't be much point in slotting it for a 1 in 10 chance. Ten percent works fine for other procs, which see way more usage as I pointed out before. 1 in 10 just seems too thin.
Just my opinion. -
My opinion on the IO is this:
If this is a purple, as was suggested originally, I think it should be a standalone enhancement of some sort. It wouldn't really need to be in a set and tied to a specific power type (defense, resist, heal, etc...). As a purple, 10% sounds a little low for the proc, but I'll come back to that.
I would like to point out that having this on your character may feel almost useless at times because you wouldn't (hopefully) use this proc as much as, say, a Hold proc, Damage Proc, Immob proc, etc. Those you use constantly in attacks, so chance for something to happen.
1 in 10 chance to ress upon death doesn't feel like enough for a purple. 15% or 20% maybe. 1 in 5 feels about right for something that would drop so rarely or have outrageous prices on the market.
My 2 cents,
Steeple -

At a total guess, I'd say we're more likely to get an option "Turn off other player's power customization", than to get "remove buff".
[/ QUOTE ]
I'd like the option that the Fortune Telling provides of not to even accept a buff in the first place.
Or add an Options Page entry for "Always Accept Buffs" or "Only Accept Buffs from Teammates" or "Never accept buffs".

Alternatively, is dual built as a Bane Spider in case there is need of Stealth/TP combo. -
This is a repost of one of my comments from another thread that I think works well for this one as well:
I doubt they would customize animations. Some animations would simply not make sense on other powers. Then there's the whole debacle that would be animation cohesion with animation time, if someone used a long animation for a short recharge power for example. Just my opinion, but I think the Devs would have foreseen the whole can of worms they'd open up if they tried to implement customized animations.
That being said, if they do it, they've exceeded my expectations. I'm just saying people shouldn't get their hopes up for something like that based off of a teaser showing purple and blue imps. Filling in the blanks that severely will lead to much crying and 'need moar pleez!!!' later.
Still, I will happily eat my words if they make it happen. -
