New patch borked the US updater?

Okay, so there might have been a little miscommunication, so I shut down the game, and restart the updater. Now, it's got the main page in the window as opposed to the usual mini-page stuff.

Mine works fine
Mine was showing the main CoH page earlier, instead of the mini portal that's usually in the updater.
This was an hour or so ago, before they brought the servers down, however. It may be one of the things they're fixing, as it was doing this yesterday as well.
mine is still showing the large page in the updater, but my updates run slowwwwwly and i've been patching for quite awhile now. (Doesn't help that this is also my usual time to virus scan, i'm sure.)
I can't get on either even though it says servers are up.
Can't log in either...

If you watch that page long enough you will see them go down again - then up again - then down again - been watching it do that for like 15 min now.
Also, yes the updater is giving me the coh wep page not the mini page - but mine started doing that earlier today before the down time was even announced

Still says Up. As far as I know, when they are 'up' but locked out to all but Devs, then it's Unknown. Even then, I can't even get past the login server.

Is this typical for maintenance or patches?
Not at all. It's either "Unknown" or "Down".
Also Maintenance is usually in the mornings. They must have run into something particularly problematic to do midday maintenance.
