MA replaced my iced tea with Colon Blow....then stole all the Charmin.
So mad rite nao! -

Hope this does not seem like a stupid suggestion, but did you remember to actually train them up to 50 after you dinged?

This will also sound like a stupid suggestion so don't hate me:
Are you trying to create the new EAT/VEAT on the same server as your lvl 50's? -
For a real epic feel, use your dual builds for full effectiveness.
My main build is my crab 'blastermind' (6 pets and AoE mass destruction) and my second build is a Bane AV killer.
On teams, I run in crab mode using the team toggles for group buffing and using my AoE powers on the large groups that get encountered, all the while having my pets up to keep the heat off of me. I will even play solo with my crab because he is alot of fun to play.
If I know I am going to be getting an EB/AV or a mission where stealth will just make life easier, I have the Bane to fall back on. He has mitigation through knockdown and quick kills (Stealth Strike is your friend).
In summary, I've had more fun playing this guy than I did on either of the Khelds. -
3 LGTF's done in rapid succession. I feel bad for anyone trying to dodge rikti raids in other zones.
Great fun, DB. Thanks for hosting once again. -
The best thread I've seen in a while.
Well played, you Rogue. -
I will defintely be level 45 for the LGTF tomorrow and will be raiding as well with Operative Webster.
Seeya then, Vanguardians! -
Gotcha. Thanks for the info.
-
I haven't been able to find a thread where this has been suggested, but perhaps I just missed it.
There are badges for many other rikti enemies, but this is one that would require good teamwork and a mighty effort to make happen.
What are your thoughts on this? -
I have been waiting a long time to be involved in bringing down dropships. I will be there with someone.

A Hami raid involves a giant Jello mold located in the back end of an unused zone on the other end of another unused zone.
It's protected by a lot of mushrooms, trees and rocks that try really hard to kill you. You need to kill a lot of them first so they will drop enhancements that you can use to prevent the giant jello mold from killing you, but it wont. It will kill you anyway.
The jello mold will sit there not doing anything watching 40 or 50 level fifty characters gather on the hill next to it, and then the players charge in. The Jello mold then kills them all. Starting with the toughest and working down the list. This takes surprisingly little time.
THen the organizer of the raid will say "that didn't work, lets try another way." in which case, everyone will buff the heck out of some of the tanks... who will be backed up by healers, and they will charge in... while other teams go about dismantling the thicker "fruity-colored" bits of the jello mold. much thought will go into this, and a lot of effort.
The Jello mold won't notice, and proceed with its original plan again, killing all the players.... this takes slightly more time, but not by much.
THe organizer will then have everybody go and kill more mushrooms trees and rocks to get more things that are supposed to help, and try again...
But by then most of the players have said unkind things about the organizers mother, jello molds, and fruity bits, and have gone back to killing things that don't hit very hard in the MA building.

Heh, nicely put. Points for humor factor.
It sound's like you need to come to Justice and experience one of our scheduled Hami raids. Seasoned vets run the raid and have it perfected to nearly an artform. We do them 2 or 3 times a week, and the average raid takes an hour. -
I am lvl 43 at the moment and will attempt to hit 45 before Sat Mat time.
@Steeple - Operative Webster (will be) lvl 45 dual build Crab/Bane Spider
In the event I can't do the LGTF, I will be there for the Ship Raid. -
I just had to say it.

Posting in caps makes people think you are a child throwing a tantrum and won't take you seriously.
Just thought I'd let you know. -

Question:
Which pets would do better,
a Crab with 5 pets using VG, or a Bane with 2 pets using VG and Surveillance?
[/ QUOTE ]
Against a large group, a Crab, since Surveillance is single target, even ignoring the fact that the Crab has vastly more AoE output.
Against a hard target (AV/Hero being the classic example) I strongly suspect a Bane, since in addition to roughly double the -resist they probably have more ST damage output over a long fight then the extra pets a Crab gets.
[/ QUOTE ]
In my playing experience, Scientist has it right. I play a dual build Soldier. My first/main build is a Crab, while my secondary is a Bane.
My crab is excellent against large groups, but would have problems in lower levels surviving the groups retaliation, as well as getting smacked around by AV/EB bosses alot. With getting all my pets, I can take just about any group solo, including AV/EB solo. With spiderlings and reinforcements, I can back up behind them and force them to take the attacks intended for me. I also notice that they tend to be less clumped in formation rather than a tight group, reducing the chance that aoe's will get them all at once, even from an AV.
My bane has always been my main AV killer. His knockdown attacks, plus stealth strikes and placate hit and run tactics have made it rare to find an AV I couldnt solo. The addition of reinforcements at higher levels help keep attention off of me. I'd like to say I adore Crowd Control for its mitigation and stealth.
My missions for quite awhile consisted of me using my crab to clear all the way to a boss and then, with a few exceptions, getting defeated by said boss. I'd go to the hospital and trainer, switching to my bane in the process, and go hand whatever EB happened to beat me down a few minutes before it's rear end on a silver platter. YMMV of course.
I'm not a number cruncher, not even close, but for comparison purposes, my crab uses SO's almost exclusively, while I have level 30-40 standard IO's on my bane to keep from spending massive amounts of infamy on 2 builds every few levels.
I hope someone got something out of this post, because I don't think I made a point anywhere. -
Your problem is you took Mudpots. Clearly, this power is subpar, and should be replaced with Aid Self.

Of course, as has been pointed out, that might drive the RMT vermin back into spamming private tells...
[/ QUOTE ]
Haven't they determined that RMT spammers are using free trial accounts? I thought that was the whole reason they took alot of capability away from trial accounts (like private tells). -
I would happily settle for the player having the option to opt-out of the mail system as well. The red text is an eyesore, and I'm tired of having to delete emails every time I jump on. Worse, having the spam hit while I'm playing is even more obnoxious.

Thank you. That is all.

/signed and thumbs up for all the reasons Sardan stated.
It really is the best TF, for me anyway, with LGTF running a pretty close 2nd place. -
Check these 2 things when you next try to respec:
1. Make sure you aren't in a TF, Trial, or SF. This will cause a respec to fail every time.
2. Since AE missions count as a TF, being in an AE mission will cause a respec to fail as well.
