It was awesome. I was afk all weekend, and instead met John Hurt.
-
He's "officially" called Jack, but he doesn't answer to it - and I can never remember to call him that. So Cat it is.

It's another beautiful day - leave the computer and go do something relaxing

Say what now? I have no idea where the sun is for you, but it's certainly not appearing in my sky - and I'm freezing my toes off. I have my heater on, and three laters of thick clothing.
Even Cat's cold, and he's covered in fur. -

This seems a very strange thing for them to do.
[/ QUOTE ]
They'll have a very good reason for it.
As far as I can tell (researching online), UK issued Maestro cards and European issued ones differ, they use seperate... thingies to complete transactions; that sounds fairly complicated. -
Visa's actually more popular than Maestro, Maestro was just targetted at the younger generation.

Just to make this extra clear: Everyone replying in this thread is getting trolled by the OP. Honestly guys, it isn't even a very well hidden troll. I'm disappointed in you all.

You replied two pages ago, fool. -
So when does the hairpulling and running to tell mummy start? My programme says Act One, but I'm sure we're nearly at the interval.

Well, no offence to either of them, but I'll miss Bridger.
Mind you, the GG group invited him out to dinner at one of the Bristol comic-cons and we spent a nice evening chatting and trying really hard not to grill him on future expansion plans. Really nice bloke (and he put up with me here), and I haven't had a chance to get to know GR at all yet.
[/ QUOTE ]
^ This.
Kerensky's awesome (and slightly crazy), GR seems very cool and Rockjaw will always scare the [censored] out of me; but I still miss B.
Even if GR gets things done on time, whereas dear Bridger... didn't. -

Don't know if anyone's seen this yet but...
MMOArt.com

That is the best thing I've heard all day.
But database error? I'm not sure a home company has a giant database...
[/ QUOTE ]
I sincerely doubt it's hosted from a home server.
[/ QUOTE ]
True, but a database error wouldn't have prevented them from getting in touch with their customers. They had every chance to let anyone know, via the CoH forums and other forums for the games they play. And I sincerely doubt they don't have anyone they can contact to let everyone know what's happening.
Database error =/= bad customer service. -

Why don't you use the "change card" option, then?
Are you absolutely sure your card hasn't expired/isn't due to? When I changed mine, it kept telling me it was invalid and eventually that I'd be investigated for fraud. Turns out, my card had expired a month before the date printed on it - but my new card arrived the same week, and entering those details worked fine (not Maestro, though).
[/ QUOTE ]
I am not a moron, please don't patronise me. The change card does nothing to reactivate your account. I used a GvE pack code previously on my second account and had cancelled the monthly payments just to make sure that it didn't get taken out. Therefore I need to reactivate account/purchase game time, which is not an option with a Maestro card
[/ QUOTE ]
...
I wasn't patronising you. I was asking a question.
By the way, "change card" must do something to reactivate an account. As I said, I had to do so when my original card expired, as soon as I had inputted the details of my new card, my account was active again. *shrug* -

Maestro (or switch as it used to be called) is 1 of the 2 major (possibly only) debt cards available in the UK

Best typo ever. -

I wander off for a little while (okay, over a year) and Bridger isn't here anymore. Did he get promoted or something?
*waves at GhostRaptor* Hi, by the way.

Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaah.
Or, hi Ravenswing! -
I hope you kept the piece of lung - great conversation piece, and you could've made a mini set of bagpipes!
On a more serious note: I hope your recovery is easy, painless and full of the best looking nurses/doctors/receptionists and such. -
I'm positive there's nothing to worry about. But do come back and prove me right, Damz.

"Dumbed down" explanations of the mission editor. I, and I assume many others, do not want to see something like: "Insert loop automated string here", because I'd have no idea what the hell that'd do. I want things like, "Mob group spawn" and "Glowie location" - y'know, easy to understand stuff.
-
What the? You have a big "Happy Birthday" instead of a cake above your name...
Happy Birthday PRAF! Have an excellent day doing whatever you old fogies do. Collect your pension, I would assume. -
As far as I can remember, he didn't run the company anyway - his wife did.
-
^ That.
Sure, he's a good artist - but no artist is good enough to effectively rob people of their money and provide nothing, not even an explanation why in return. -
Oh, they care about the economy - they just have a nasty habit of caring too late. And then they care a lot.

EU forums have 30,000 registered users, or thereabouts, US forums have 117,000 registered users, or thereabouts.
If they're taking subscription numbers from day one, and not excluding inactive accounts - then 160,000 could easily be EU only. Worldwide, it seems a little small. -
That's the big US only competition? Pfft. We're really not missing much.
-
It changes?
Well, that could easily be worked around with the Vetspecs or freespecs, couldn't it? -
I'm not so sure the badge description matters these days - no other character will know if you've taken a respec; and besides - taking one doesn't necessarily mean you're going to use it, so the badge text becomes moot already.
It might be time for a little update, really.
