Maybe Buffy the Vampire Slayer, although she didn't start with comics (to my knowledge) has certainly branched into the medium. She has a solid base of material and had widespread exposure, although that's waned somewhat since the ending of the show.
Creating something really iconic is tough to do nowadays. Things get huge, then die a quiet, lonely death. -
What I want to know is when all these invading forces are going get the damned message that you don't **** with Primal.

The crash is -25 end, -20% defense, and 9990% damage for ten seconds. Taunt, heal, combine insps, resume killing.

Bah, blue, red, black, white, and brown are the only colours available in the costume creator. It's not my fault if I use them in everything.

I have a few MA scrappers with Crane Kick 6-slotted with Kinetic Crash. Makes a fantastic opening/finishing move on a mob, and has rather decent damage slotting for a KB set (around 70%). Definitely provides the cheesy kung-fu movie style to defeat a guy with a kick that sends him flying into a different zip code.

Quote:That's really creepy. My wife just finished saying pretty much what you wrote.
They killed Misha. I laughed the whole time. I was a little disappointed that they didnt mention Jensen's real life wife, even if she didnt show up on the show they could have mentioned her.
I also liked how they made Jensen and Jared seem like they hate each other in real life, which they don't they are friends, unless there is something I haven't heard. -

Sleep is the only control that can be broken as far as I know. Also note that some controls won't work as well, or at all, on certain enemies.
So, no, your aoe won't 'break' the hold/stun.
Edit: Fear can be 'broken' as well, but this only allows the enemy to attack once every 5 seconds while the fear effect is still active. It still gives a net gain in mitigation, even if you were running a damage aura or attacking that target constantly. -
We generally start at 7 EST, I think we changed it a while ago.

While I haven't been making a ton of new characters lately, the last shocking name I grabbed was Incorruptible
There have been a few other good ones, but I pour most names I find into the bottomless pit of names known as the Virtue Name Watch.
I started about a year after the game launched, so a lot of the names I've picked up have surprised me, namely Planet Smasher and Grim Fandango.
I've also gotten and given up a number of great names: Avarice, Deja Voodoo, Nemean, Jade Empress, Heavenly.
Sadly, the names I really want will never be freed until a more aggressive name purge is done. Until then I'll just keep finding new stuff to share with Virtue. -
The benefits of not having to pay 15 million to some big name actor to headline the cast.
-
According to IMDB, it made $53+ million off a $13 million budget. Not too shabby.

The biggest issue will be the violence. Commercial success pretty much demands a non-R rating and the original was violent as all hell. Not sucking may also be a challenge.

Quote:One of the comments on the uncensored version of the rap:If anything, Natalie Portman seems out of place in that slutty romcom she came out in recently. As far as Thor goes, after this, I'm not too surprised by anything she does.
Quote:i've never been so scared and turned on in my life
Thor is going to be awesome.
And just because...

Quote:Probably could do it with any other defender nuke, but as mentioned defender Blizzard has the same base damage as blaster Blizzard so you're less likely to die horribly when the mob ignores your pitiful defender nuke. Hail of Bullets is another possibility since it's crashless and won't leave you with your pants down afterward. Not to mention a small def bonus while it's going off.
A defenders blizzard has the same base damage as a blaster. -
I loved Dean's reaction when the spirit possessed the car

Granite (not Stone) would be the toughest, but you have to get to 32 without dying to get there. And it's annoying.
After that you're looking at Inv or WP. Stone Melee or Dark Melee would be my choice for survivable secondaries. Dark for Siphon Life, and Stone for a pair of AoE knockdowns.
