No comment on the Shield side of things, but you don't really need two end reducers in Tough/Weave. One level 50 generic IO is plenty. I usually go with 4 slots(3 and 1), or 3 (*/end) if I'm frankenslotting.

Made it up to 33 so far. Mostly been DXP DFB which is frustrating, but only 2 more levels of that. Rocked a DIB and Morimer Kai, the latter being a lot of fun since I finally got to use Bonfire and Consume, which I bound to the mouse all teleport style.

Then again, being teamed with a Mind controller, Earth controller, and Dark controller, I didn't really get much opportunity to see how effective my actual controls are. Damage is good though, imps are doing their job.

Now I just need more slots.

Stone, Dark, MA, or anything with good mitigation will pair well.

I went MA (Storm Kick) so I could Incarnate soft-cap with SR and Weave, well, ~62% with the steadfast, but I had that from earlier. The self-heal from Dark would be great, as would the constant AoE knockdown of Fault/Tremor in Stone.

My redside team got to 26 last night, so that's probably more DXP progress, for me, in one evening than I've managed in all the other DXP events combined. We ran mostly DFB, with Dean Macarthur's arc for a change of pace. Probably more DFB today until we can run the ITF. I don't know, someone has the master plan, I'm just running along figuring out how to play a Fire/Fire Dom.

Also, I24 apparently has a new Tier 9 VIP costume set, so huzzah for extra tokens.

Got my points today, and I can either pick up Water Blast as planned, or, get two more character slots and get Water blast when Sept 10 rolls around.

I'm getting used to end heavy characters, so at least I'm prepared for that bit of drama. This at least gives me some confirmation of what I'd been working on as far as powers. I usually slot as I go, but at least I have some idea where best to put them. Now I've got a few days to put in bids for recipes and salvage for basic IO's and whatever else I can afford that'll help out.

I for one look forward to finally getting past the blinding rage that occurs every time I complete some long/hard arc/tf/whatever and get a ******* Snipe IO recipe for my trouble.

I play everything like a scrapper, which oddly seems to be helping my Fire/Thermal hardcore corruptor survive, so might as well keep it up. The team we're running this weekend is mostly corruptors and control, with I believe a single stalker for melee, though we may get some more players joining in.

Combat Jumping, Hasten, Super Speed, and as many Leadership toggles (particularly Maneuvers) as possible is what I've been trying for as far as Pool Powers.

And thanks for all the help so far. I've never levelled a dom past about 8 or so, so trying to figure out priorities is something of a challenge.
