I liked it well enough, but the movie was quite a bit different from what the trailers were selling.

If you're going to throw Iron Man 2 on a disappointing movie list, you might as well throw The Avengers on there as well.

Quote:Which is why Stone also gets a Mag 4 hold and a heavy hitting ranged attack with -Fly. Although I can't see Rikti drones really posing any kind of danger to an electric tank with capped energy resists.Knockdown is nice (I have an Ice/Stone tank) but it still leaves you open to ranged opponents who have little inclination to come close or don't get knocked down (e.g. Rikti Drones). Being able to repeatedly snatch life from targets via Siphon Life is never a bad thing.
DM certainly offers the most survivability of the secondary sets, but I don't think it's anywhere as good as Stone as a 'tanking' set. -
The two aoe knockdowns makes it the best 'tanking' secondary in my opinion. I also think it has great synergy with Electric in particular though. Elec provides +recharge, end recovery, and aoe damage, all things Stone needs, while Stone brings loads of mitigation, along with heavy ST damage for hard targets.

Another vote for Stone Melee.

Tweeting from his phone while in the theatre? What a ******.

Also, remember to always bring new batteries for the annoying toys you bought them last Christmas/Birthday. The old batteries always seem to disappear when the kids aren't around. Weird. It's my duty as a dear friend to replace them.

It does get annoying having stuff switch back to the charcoal grey and dirty white standard colours.

Quote:This came to mind. (Warning: Naked man ***, Monty Python style)I've noticed that on the Hydra heads on the DFB trial, you have to be right on them, practically giving them a lap dance to get any heals off of Transfusion.

I have a hard time calling anything that gets significant airtime on SpikeTV a 'cult' show, ie ST:TNG. SpikeTV's audience is about as uncult as you're going to find.

On just SO's I would suggest SR, which easily soft-caps on SO's.
For a secondary, I suggest Dark Melee. Dark Melee has excellent single target damage, Siphon life which is a self-heal and also an outstanding attack, and Dark Consumption which can refill your endurance. Dark Melee covers a few of SR's shortcomings (no heal, no end recovery), which are often covered with IO set bonuses.
Other good choices for a secondary are Stone and Martial Arts, both of which have good ST damage. Stone has 2 pbaoe knockdown powers to keep you and your team safe, while Martial Arts has Storm Kick which provides an extra 10% defence to all damage. That defence comes in handy if you're going for the incarnate soft-cap (SR w/SO's, Weave, and Storm Kick), but since you're not able to access Incarnate content it's less helpful. -
Maybe someone should tell China about our latest invention: hats.

I was really enjoying the game until my saves all got corrupted and I had to start over with a new character. I liked my ugly-as-sin, sneaky, elf archer. Seriously, so ugly it kinda startled me when she had to go to the ambassador's party without her helmet on.
Oh necromancer coven, you guys really should have cast some sort of 'armor the base of my skull' spell before sitting down to supper. If you didn't want to be shot in the back, you should have turned around.
On the other hand, I made it from creation to level 43 on a Fire/Fire/Fire Dom, so my murdering people quota is well in hand, just a different style. -
I went Beam/Devices, although I also have a Beam/Traps. Does great damage and since I can use most /Dev powers before a fight, I don't deal with redraw or the 'I have 8 billion attacks' issue. Drop Trip Mine for the big spankin' defiance buff and go to town with Overcharge. If any straggler manages to drag his sorry *** to your position, well, that's what the Trip Mine was for.

That's an understatement.
It definitely does. I'm still torn on whether to lead with Bonfire or Flashfire, since I tend to take a bit of return fire with either power. -
Sunrazer, Fire/Fire/Fire dominator made it to 43.
-
Our superteam made it to 42 before calling it for the weekend. Despite some problems on Saturday it went pretty smoothly the rest of the time.
Sunrazer is now a walking death machine and can only get tougher and better.
Thanks again for all the help guys.
