I slotted in the regenerative tissue + 25% to regeneration but do not see it listed in my combat attributes screen anywhere. I do see the Numina's unique listed in both regen and recov. Does anyone know if this is a bug or if I am just not reading something right? I slotted it in rise to the challenge and currently have it activated.
nm I guesds it just took a zone to effect. -
I currently have a soft capped ele/sd build, I was using one of the middle builds posted on this forum a while ago. I have soft capped def and around 60% rech before the proc and hasten up. I was wondering on some ideas to increase my recharge a little bit while still maintaining the soft capped def. I could prob afford 1 purple set now also as I have farmed a good 1.5 billion over the last week or so but I am not sure what would be the best bang for the buck in improving this build with I19 in mind. I would figure the recharge redux Alpha is the way to go to further increase how often I can pop SC and LR.

I rolled a cold/cold corr here the other day and was trying to figure out if I can enhance the % a power debuffs resistance? I know you can get enhancements that effect the def debuff % but was not sure if there was any for debuff res?
-
Fire is squishier when you compare it to some of the other sets that can get def up alot easier. SR and SD are ones that you can soft cap ranged/melee/aoe fairly easily on and that gives pve mobs the lowest possible chance to actually hit you.
-
Thank you. One other question. Can you trade vanguard merits?
-
I was wondering if anyone had an idea as to how to unlock the dual blades light saber looking blades costume piece?
-
The slots I have total of 3 free for health and stamina combined. I was mainly thinking of throwing in the +end and +recovery uniques in there since I already have a few from some lucky rolls. I don't have the updated Mids yet so my build just has them in Rest right now. I would love to put the Force feedback proc anywhere else if I could but the only aoe pwr, or pwr for that matter that I see which could use it is in Beam Volley. I will try and rework the build a little after work and post an updated copy. Any idea where I can get an update for Mids?
-
Thanks for the reply. Would it be an improvement in overal dps then to maybe drop fire blast and pick back up breath? Also on frankenslotting it, would you just pull some dam/range IO's from things like Posi? With regards to blast's slotting I couldn't figure out anything else in there so I am def ok with dropping it. With regard to ring of fire, I could take the slots there and throw them in Web to keep up the s/l, I am just not sure where I would get the other slots from as I need to keep atleast 3 for health and stam etc if possible I would think. Any idea on the worthiness of the force feedback in beam volley?
Another question I have is regard to stealth and invis and the def there. I know it drops once you start attacking so this build I have both the powers turned off. I was wondering if I still retain any def by running stealth even after I start attacking? If so, that may free up a few slots to play around with in other powers. Right now I just have them as mules for LotG's. I found it is pretty easy to get Kin Combats right now just running through AE missions and reward rolls. I already have 7 recipes that arn't the proc that I am saving for this build. -
I am looking for suggestions on ways to improve. Right now I def want to keep softcapped s/l. I would like to get a bit higher ranegd def if possible but I want all the recharge I can get also. Here is the current build. I have 3 slots in rest for health/stamina slots with numina's perf shifter and such also to help with the recovery etc. I am def willing to go villan side for mace and I think that is the project for this weekend to start hehe. Also is throwing a force feedback chance for reacharge a decent idea in mace beam volley? like I have here?

I was reading over some of the new builds posted and I see a lot of them have the patron powers on villan side. Are these avail to blaster only if they change to a villan or can we access them through the hero side?
-
I would think with the changes to fitness and staying in melee alot I would prob drop tesla chages, VS, and zapp and go for some of the fighting pool for higher def or something along those lines. I have not build my mids yet but guess I should start soon. With the alpha slots coming in I would think I could either, focus less on recharge and more on def and then get the extra recharge from the alpha slot or vice versa. I know that there are not many pwrs to take for upping def though as a blaster so If I can get the IO's for Defense where I need them and build up more recharge with the Alpha that should round him out nicely no?
-
Any chance you would mind still posting your build? I am thinking of rolling a eleX3 blaster but was trying to look for ways to make him not so squishy(besides draining all the end), without gimping my recharge etc.
-
Thanks for the response, yeah I am waiting till I19 I think but I was just curious what people thought. Most AE's I am running I am surrounded by mobs the entire AE so it is not a simple BU/LR/SB combo and everything is dead. Most the ae's I have found seem to be built for fire as they all seem to do fire based attacks that I have found hehe. Any ideas on some other good AEs? Thanks for the idea with Stamina. With the changes I could get grant cover pretty easily it seems with I19
-
Thanks again, very good info here for me. I would love to put in three of those HO's. I spent about 3 bil on my scrapper getting him pretty well set so he can farm for me if need be. I am not sure what the price is on those HO's though. I would hope not more than 200-300mil each but I am at work for another 4 hrs
Besides doing actual Hami raids, I thought also there was a way to get some(besides markets) like some TF's etc? Any ideas on that? I know you also told me some of the procs, are there specific sets that have better procs(besides the chance for build up) that fit in the pet slots? Thanks again for the responses and it looks like I have some more farming to do -
Thanks for the detailed response, I really appreciate it! Any sample builds by chance showing ideas of how to get the dmg and accuracy and some procs in? By what you are saying it may be beneficial to throw in the chance for build up, another proc chance and then 2-3 dmg and 1-2 acc worth in some IO sets for the other spaces? Also how does the chance for build up work on the assult bot? Every time the bot attacks or is it like putting the +chance for end recovery in Stamina etc?
Also judging by that chart it would seem pretty wise to take tactics, especially after the fitness power pool goes to inherent with I19. I know many builds can get lots of accuracy bonuses in them from the IO sets before any bonuses from the actual slots so is that the thinking over 100%? -
I have a Bots/Pain mm i am working up on lvl's. i have io'd out my ele/sd scrapper and a few others but wanting to get a mm up if possible. I see some of the pet damage IO's but I am not to familair with what xfers over to the pet and such. I see I can increase there resistence and defence by 5 and 10 respectively with some io's but is there anything else really to make them a bit less squishy? Also with my power set choices can anyone recommend a build or things to shoot for in a build? I want to get my recharge up for the pbaoe resis debuff in pain and the buffs to have up more frequently but I am unsure what else to shoot for or what else makes up a good solid build.
-
I recently came back and I am trying to farm up some inf to rework some other characters. I used to be able to farm some ae missions with ease on my soft capped ele/sd. I saw the nerf to BotZ so I redid my build to match the ele/sd moderate build posted on here. I followed it exactly and I am running some AE missions on +2X8. It seems everything is hitting with fire and I am still dropping unless I have some lucky insperations. About half way through the farms I normally am face planting. Any ideas on why this is happening or is it just the ae missions I am doing? This is the build I am using right now
