There's really no need to though seeing as what your asking for already exists. Names are only reserved by active accounts. Once you stop paying and 6 months go by anyone that wants your name can have it on a 1st come 1st served basis.

I'm starting this ... poll... in the spirit of loving the City of Heroes game and wanting to open up the opportunities for more creativity by the players who actively invest in and participate in the game.
Many character names are "reserved in the abyss" on game accounts that have not been active since before Global Handles were instituted. The folks who have those accounts who have long-since not returned have not invested their time, energy, and funds in this game through thick and thin. It is the hope of this player that the character names sitting unused for so long by these long-stagnant accounts are freed up for the active community to enjoy.
It is a shame that inactive accounts/players who have not been back since before Global Handles serve to limit the opportunities of committed players. Here's hoping we can have those names freed up, and the active players (and new players!) can bring some great heroes and villains to life.

Get over it."
Game: Star Wars Galaxies. Killed my inner child over a period of 2 years. Anyone remember when the game launched they touted it taking place during the pivotal time between A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back?.... Perfect example of killing a concept that didn't need killing. The GI Joe movie is no different. If they honored the canon, the folks who were once kids and spent so much time with it would have loved it, and it could easily work for a new generation. Why do Hollywood screenwriters think they have the new special sauce to add everytime they get their hands on an old beloved franchise? Monkey-munchers. -

I have been playing for 4 months. I recently found I had access to the Valkyrie and Cyborg packs. I also found out I could apply auras and capes to all newly created toons. Will this problem be fixed or do I have to do something for it to be fixed? I typed the /petition in after I read the motd. Nothing happened. I am not sure how this all works. Hmm... how about in... i18 we get vehicles. SG/VG vehicles that require 4 players to man, and you can fly them around Paragon City (if a villain group) or Rogue Isles (If you're a hero group) in specific zones.

I have to say the idea of the MA system was a good one. Allow people to tell the back stories of their characters and/or other stories.
The problems with the "Farms" being created is on that even the devs should have been able to predict. I for one saw it coming. The only REAL solution to end farming in the MA system is to remove xp altogether and just issue tickets and badges...will not stop farming but will stop xp farming. Then the MA system can return to what it originally was meant for.
Since MA has been introduced everywhere I have been has been a ghost town (on pinnacle, freedom, virtue and triumph) where I can not find anyone running regular in game missions. Why bother when you can get from 1-50 in a couple days.
I will wait it out a month or so but really do not see this game as one I can actually continue playing since the core missions are slowly being phased out with no post 50 content of interest being added. Certainly hope I am wrong in this and that they work more on content instead of systems that will most likely be used as exploits with most of the player base then completely empty once it can no longer be taken advantage of.
This of course is just my opinion and feedback to the developers.

I really like the above suggestion of removing XP gain from AE missions. This would be a great way to reduce the feverish farming going on, and align the use of the AE missions for what they were meant for... Content! Farming is definitely throwing the ecomomy for a loop, and allowing for people to level up 30+ full level 50 characters in a week is not what the Developers intended for this game i'm sure (I know an individual who has done this). C'mon developers, think "balance" please. -

Question for you all. I have a British hero, and some of his backstory revolves around interaction with MI6 and British Monarchy. Anyone know if there is a King or Queen in this timeline?
