the bandits will be datamined and banned. Apparently the Devs already have a 'flag' in place to catch someone who ONLY gives out one-star ratings.

Not sure about 'guarding' a blinkie, as blinkies can't be assigned escorts.
you can make a boss or ambush spawn when you've clicked the blinkie and collected it.
and if you want to test specific missions, drag and drop the 'book' they are in to the first position after your arc settings. Once you've tested, drag and drop them back to where they belong. -

Just another issue I'm having Ex:
The missions I've transferred from my folder are all older versions of missions from Test. Changes that I made later on Test are gone.

This is because, once published, you stop working from your local files, and instead edit the published arc directly. Since you made 'published' changes, the local files were never updated.
This is a BIG gotcha that people don't know about. If you make ANY changes to a published arc, once you've republished, you need to go back in to the Edit screen and click on the Save Locally button. This will 'copy down' the Published data to your drive, overwriting the outdated version.
Otherwise you won't have the latest and greatest as your 'local' version. -
If the mission is greyed out on Publish and Test, but you can Edit it, then there's a validation problem. It's probably too much text in one or more of the text fields.

ticket rewards seem to be a bit 'off'. there's a thread in the Feedback section in regards to this.

Wow. That is ... awesome.
And... Native American, you say? at some point we need to get all the tribal heroes together. -
the map will have one 'set' of enemies associated with it, either stock or custom.
To get a second group in, you have to stage them as part of an event. Those would be: Ambush, boss fight, rescue, battle, defendable object, patrol, and destructable object. -
You have a hard return in your character description, which gets translated to <BR> (this is the invalid HTML).
I consider this a bug, but until it's 'fixed', don't use hard returns in character descriptions. -
higher level skulls have Dark Melee and Dark Armor attacks. You could model off of that.

The Poison Gas Trap has been nerfed (it no longer procs holds repeatedly, only once per mob that enters the area of effect) but it still does a good job with locking down spawns.
Acid Mortar executes a -DEF debuff and DoT AoE attack 10 times per deploy.
Seeker Drones can be used to pull spawns without taking your minions out of Bodyguard Mode (mobs see seekers and they start shooting/attacking, minions see this as an attack against the whole troupe and launch a counterbarrage). Plus they proc an AoE stun when they detonate.
Web Grenade can be used to immob flyers, or just lock something down inside a burn patch from Assault Bot's incendiary missile swarm.
Trip Mine is good for chokepoints, in conjunction with PGT.
And when all else fails, Detonation provides a handy nuke (at the cost of a minion.)
Also, Protector Bots will continually bubble you, your bots, your toys (such as seekers or mortars, or triage beacons) and any NPC allies you pick up. This helps with incoming attacks.
Dame Demo is my only fully-IO'd character, and it's VERY rare that I have to 'tank' anything, most of Traps actually allows one to play as a weak Controller while the robots provide blaster-level artillery. -
Nice work. Looks like you guys have solid criteria from which to judge, and a system to sample the arcs that are generating some forum discussion.
My name is Soul Train and I endorse this reply. -
Yes, let's be clear.
If I enter an arc and the very first mission has an AV in my face as I'm still loading... I'm hospitaling out, exiting the arc, and one-starring it.
Of course you'll probably get a tell from the MA system along the lines of "OMGWTBBQ U PUT AV IN MAH FACE!!" so at the very least you know what got the one-star.
Do a search on all one-starred arcs. If they're recently pubbed and only have one or two plays, then there may be a one-star bandit about. -
WANT.
(and shall buy the Architect Edition box, cos it'll also come with a month of play). -
Sounds like a suggestion for MA 2.0. And yes, many have asked for the ability to add powers 'a la carte'.
-
If your test folder doesn't have a mission folder, then you have no missions to copy, as that is where they would be stored.
Do this:
SEARCH for all files with the .storyarc extension. Create "Missions" folder in your Live CHV folder. Copy all files named *.storyarc to the new Missions folder. -
So far, my Bots/Traps MM is the one I use to test any arcs that are 'turned up to eleven'. The only times I run into problems is when the arc missions auto-exemp down below my Tier 3 bot.
"Dame Demolition" is a good name for her. She just shows up with her equipment, and leaves rubble in her wake. -
Whoa. I JUSt found this, and will have to investigate some customizations.
-
Oooh.
I LIKE it.
Especially the last bit. Nemesis as a sock puppet to a timelord. -
I don't see a problem with it.
Does it post OK without having to use some kind of rigorous formatting? -
You should be able to get the Victoria 4 base model for not too much... and yes, there's all SORTS of material poses, morph poses, and such available. I've a ton of them.
Not that I use all that many, but... -

This is an arc for villains (or mercenary heroes). It starts out normal, sort of, and then gets a little odd. I will warn you, it's deceptively standard fare during the second-fourth missions... and then mission 5 is the tricky one. Haven't tried it on a team, but since ALL of the mobs are stock, they should scale just fine. -
That's an awesome piece, Juggertha.
And Z Girl is quite fun too. -
