I do agree with you that outside of sleeps(which shold keep the 100% chance to mez) the 80% or 75% chance to Mezinstead of 100% chance with lower accuracy would have been a superior change to the aoe controls.
Do you think its too late to make that change now?
You're saying the powers should have more accuracy so they hit more, but have less of a chance to actually do anything to the mobs?

If one out of every four of my Flashfires hits a mob but doesn't actually do anything to them (other than very little damage) I will not be a happy camper. If I wanted to just fire off AoEs that only do damage I would've rolled a blaster. -

I don't want to have to hunt through a "Ranged Blast Playstyle" forum to find info on a Blaster when there are 3 other "ranged" ATs to sift through.
It sounds like the forum restructure is more so tied to the new in-game character creator.
While that makes sense... personally, I think you guys should've left the creator the way it was and not try to dumb it down for people.
Each of the ATs had descriptions of what they did. They didn't need to be merged into a "play style." If people chose not to read, well, that's their problem. -

I run Vista and I noticed a spike in CPU usage when i21 went live.
It's possible they made a code change that as a memory leak or some new bit of code is not meshing well with something else.
IIRC prior to i21 I would run at ~75% CPU usage. Now it's closer to ~95%.
(I use a dual monitor setup and have a CPU widget on the non-game screen).

I noticed this too. I think it's more of a display bug than anything else.
When I log into the character with the incorrect location I login to where I should be (Atlas instead of Mercy for example) and there aren't any problems.
If my Hero toon that was logged out in Atlas wound up logging in Mercy then I'd be worried lol -

And yea, the rarity of those volumes is totally weird. I'm pretty good at finding anime and I've been wracking my brain for the last hour trying to figure out who might have these.
You might be better off just torrenting the series and making your own DVDs :P
I'd also check any local Brick and Mortar stores, like FYE or Suncoast Video (if they're still around) or Barnes and Noble and see if any of them might have them on the shelves. -
Faatham, Sara Moore and Quaterfield's TFs have Nemesis in them. I don't think you'll get the Fake Nem badge in one run of either of them.
Fake Nem are generally easy to find in mid-northern PI ranging from mid40s-50. There's also a couple of island in Fire Base Zulu where there are a lot of them (also a lot of Paragon Protectors).
As for 2 and 3... for Illusionist badge, I'm pretty sure it was changed so that Phantasms and Dark Servants count for the badge. So effectively you can get 5 pts of credit toward the badge with each MI (or more if you let them respawn the pets).
For Sorcerers, no clue. I always just hunted in Talos and Steel for them. -

I briefly looked and they do have UY DVDs - some are Region 1 and others are Region 2. Assuming you're in the US/Canada, you'll want Region 1s.

FWIW (and I think I've been using that far too often lately) CoH used to be a huge part of my daily life. For a few years I was pretty much engulfed in the game to the point where if I didn't get to play it was the end of the world for me and I didn't know what to do with myself otherwise.
Now, not so much.
So I do feel all the pain about the downtime... but we'll all get over it and move on with life

I gaurentee most people aren't blocking their MMO via spam filter on their primary email account.
Specifically, the last double XP Weekend... I think I got an email that Sunday or Monday following it saying that I should login and play and yadda yadda yadda.
It wouldn't have hurt if they sent out emails but I don't know how much good it would've done either. -

Most of those complaining are looking for good customer service. Hiding behind a EULA is a poor business practice in this case.
Don't get it twisted. I don't think any compensation outside of an extra day or two double exp is necessary (due to ALL the extra downtime, not just today). I find the request for any $ or PPs to be a poor idea.
Paragon Points, or DXP for that matter, doesn't actually cost them any money. If they offered say 200 pts they're not really losing anything.
I think it would:
Restore good faith
Good PR
and possibly increase store sales cause I'm sure there are people who used up all their initial points who still want stuff and while 200 isn't a lot, it's an incentive to buy 400 more to reach 600 which does buy some nifty things in the store.
