TPN, 15 players. The game transferred league leadership to someone that clearly doesn't play with the chat box open. How could we tell? Requests in League Chat, about a dozen private tells, and even one broadcast request on the server's badge channel (where the player heard about the trial in the first place) went unheeded. So a vote-kick happened (and passed). After the person was kicked, but before they were removed from the map, they said in the league chat that "sry i tend not to notice stuff like that".

Before that we ran a Lambda. A group with 4 tanks, 4 brutes, only 3 support debuffers (rad, cold, thermal), 2 scrappers, and a couple other one-off ATs. There were six +3 characters, a couple +2, and most being +0 or +1. Someone had the bright idea to make it a badge run 2 minutes before starting. At the 1 minute left mark we had the AV to 6% health. Thankfully someone had the intelligence to use a grenade at that point otherwise it would have been a failed trial.

As to the original post, I form trials in DA so that I can see people's level shift -before- the trial starts. If there isn't enough players with level shifts, then I refuse to run certain trials.

On BAF, Lambda, Keyes, and TPN I will take what I can get because I know I can get a decent percentage with +2 or +3.

On Underground, MoM, and DD, I refuse any player that doesn't have (edit) +3 level shifts (/edit), but even that doesn't save me from people not listening to instructions. The fact that I've not done any of these three trials in a week is telling.
  2. Actually, I had not checked. Too busy with non-50s.

This was your problem. I filed a ticket outside of the game via the ask a question page for my premium account and got help that way. My premium account has no access to in-game support or bug filing. You know this. This isn't something that is being hidden from players.

While I also don't like the Supergamble Packs, the fact is that the converters aren't available with the other types of merits is also a bug. Or someone rushing things, not paying attention, and not properly doing their job. However it will be fixed with the next patch.

In other words this is a case of not attributing to malice what is the result of incompetence.

I did this so that I can outfit some level 50s. I also know that lower prices will not stay lower, so I have some for a future hedge. Well, that and I have a number of Controllers & Dominators that can use the formerly "cheap" purples.
  7. Double XP weekend brought my 2nd Stalker to 50: Stalker Girl Energy/SR

Yeah, I did the same with a Stalker (45-50 this weekend) that I made the first day I got CoV (Christmas 2005). Though the very first character I made on my account in Feb 2005 is still 45 (Broadsword/Dark Scrapper, banished to Freedom from Triumph).

    The above mentioned Stalker (45-50), a level 13 Dark/Dark Controller to 27, a new Ill/Dark Controller to 21, a level 30 Energy/Rad Corruptor to 33, and (edit) a level 30 Ice/Kin Tanker to 32 (/edit).

Yes, I did enjoy myself, thank you and the development team.

Yes, anyone can use that command. However as a Premium player, you have to file a support ticket outside of the game.

From conversations I had, it was going to be extra slots at 25/27/29.

They were going to give those slots to everyone for free.

The slots were planned for Issue 21/Freedom.

They were trying to give us 3 enhancement slots as free stuff.

Actually, they gave us four free powers, not extra slots.

This is what happened when they tried to give us some extra slots:

Actually it was worse than "something broke" from all reports. Apparently when people assigned those extra slots, every single purple enhancement slotted was deleted from the character. To put it mildly, this was a "show stopper" for the extra enhancement slots until they can afford the time to fix it.

It appears to be the case that if you bought the strapped heels (and could use them) that the "fix" produced a false positive.

Ideally Paragon Studios will do the right thing and empower the GMs to make a one-time change to correct the situation.

A guide to finding out what you have unlocked from the market.

Casual Dress Shirt market code: CUCPCWCS

    Strapped Heels market code: CUCPCWSH

Either way, I suspect it would take a very senior GM to handle this so if you get stonewalled (and you will as the low level GMs will just parrot the patch notes), escalate this.

It is possible that the "fix" mis-interpreted the strappy dress heels as shirt.

        • Ever watchful of the sleeping god Mot, the Circle of Thorns have stood vigil on these grounds since its imprisonment. Even as the last of Mot's bonds were shattered, the Circle sought to contain its terrible power. Fools or heroes, the Circle's casualties were tremendous as they defied the wrath of the resurgent deity. It is said that the Demon-Prince Stolas was the first to confront the manifestations of Mot. When the Demon-Prince was broken and devoured, the ranks of his minions broke and fled into the streets of Dark Astoria.
      • Palace of Stone Leaves - (4160.002, -42.0, 719.996)
        • Even with every man, woman and child in Dark Astoria slaughtered, the city never ceased to be a thriving metropolis. The bonds that held Mot in its torpor also prevented the spirits of the slain from passing on. Forced to remain as ghosts among the empty remnants of their city, the citizens of Dark Astoria did their best to resume a semblance of normality. Founded by a powerful Tsoo ancestor spirit, the Palace of Stone Leaves was the nerve center of this ghostly community. Now a refuge protected vigorously by its living Tsoo guardians, it houses the few remaining spirits that were lucky enough to not be swept away and consumed when Mot first stirred from its slumber.
      • Auspice Avernus - (1015.0, 114.5811, 2370.496)
        • As Mot rose again into the world of the living, the very earth was sundered in the passing. The offal of its millennial imprisonment rose with it, a mephitic concoction of the most vile nature. From weeping sores and gaping maws flows a fluid of reconstitution, flushing down its titanic mass and forming pools amongst the pockets of flesh and shattered earth. Here, Mot's followers flock, intoxicating themselves on the potent fumes and ecstatically receiving visions of Mot's glory.
      • Death's Head Supplicant - (1727.0, 233.2501, 904.996)
        • Behold! Before you lies the glory of Mot. In this place its true body lies exposed; a vast expanse of reconstituting flesh and yawning maws, feasting on life so it can be resuscitated as it perpetually dies and rots anew. Mot's capacity for consumption does not yet equal its appetites, for much of the body is desiccated by centuries of imprisonment or is still bound in ways both arcane and metaphysical. The many mouths that scar its horrid form are, as of yet, still stifled and immature compared to their glory in antiquity. Only one has fully extended to its full voraciousness, but that one is enough to drag all of Dark Astoria into crushing oblivion.
      • Walker on the Profane Ascent - (2828.502, 193.0881, 792.996)
        • This was once Moth Cemetery, the hallowed ground within which Mot was sealed. As Mot's titanic will battered against the bonds that have held it for centuries, the very soil of the cemetery has roiled in revolt at the emerging presence of this vile behemoth. The seismic devastation of its passing causes the terrain to bloat, crack and surge skyward as it struggles to stand from below the ensnaring earthen edifice. As appropriate offerings to the all-consuming manifestation of Death, the vainglorious memorials have been churned down into the earth, pulverized against its corrupting flesh, as it twists and writhes to free himself; Mot abides no vanity but its own.
      • Witness of Oaths - (2909.002, 191.1071, 4573.5)
        • Many false heroes over the years have claimed vindication over the events that transpired in Dark Astoria, unaware that their hollow words would one day be called to account. Screaming and pleading, many have been dragged into the ruined city by the Talons of Vengeance to pay the ultimate price for oath breaking.
      • Life Out of Death - (6196.5, 117.1341, 2443.996)
        • Mot's hunger is insatiable and its power to feast upon life is prodigious. For sustenance, many innocent people have been spirited away into the haunted streets of Dark Astoria. Not all who have been abducted have met their end, surviving against all odds.
      • Of Things Unclean - (935.50, -0.8967, 4320.50)
        • The dead have always cavorted through the streets of Dark Astoria, praying and making sacrifice to their mute master, and for good reason. Even after its fall, Mot's shadow has terrorized the dreams of mankind through all of history, for it is the embodiment of all that is unnatural and vile; death most unclean.
  16. Don't worry about it. It happens far more often than you'd think.
  17. Both the league leader and myself noticed your apology in the league chat.

It wasn't a deciding factor in the trial, however. We didn't have enough DPS for the Sentinel and we would have likely failed during the final stage anyway due to too many people below the recommended level for the trial.

People bringing level 50+1 were fighting +6 critters.
People bringing level 50+2 were fighting +5 critters.
People bringing level 50+3 were fighting +4 critters.

The purple patch means it is not effective to bring anything without a +2 level shift (and in my opinion even that is borderline) or +3 level shift. This is NOT an entry level trial. Treating it as such is bound to fail.

Zone unlocks: likely to follow 1st Ward model of people can enter, but need to pay for contacts. From what I've heard, there isn't many plans for this at the moment.

(all) Costume unlocks: Probable, but some might still have restrictions like the Roman costume set.

Weapon/Shield customization unlocks: This will likely be expanded on a semi-regular basis.

Badges: Not a hope in Hell that this will happen. Several key developers would have to leave before this would be a remote possibility.

Accolade powers: Not a hope in Hell that this will happen. Several key developers would have to leave before this would be a remote possibility.

Incarnate Unlocks: Not a hope in Hell that this will happen beyond keeping this as a subscription only service. Most of the current upper level staff would have to leave before this would be a remote possibility.

Very rare enhancements: Possibly will happen slowly.

Correction for clarity. By saying "right there" people will head to the right and rescue Citadel/Infernal by mistake. I know, I've seen it happen.
