  1. By the way, "PVP->Risk Taker - Most Wanted" should really be in the mission badges.

Well, that I can tell you. The Praetorian badges are not the same as the Primal Earth equivalent. They fill the same function, but they are different badges as far as the game is concerned.

The "internal" badge name is the same for Hero or Villain and I did put both in the visible display. There are some Praetorian specific badges that have unique internal names. I'm not quite sure how that works yet.

I may add SetTitle functions in the future, but not until I find a good way to automate the SetTitle<-->BadgeName linking inside the PopMenu files.
I caught that after your edit.
  4. Interesting use of the Popmenu command. Did you take into account the hero/villain differences in badge names?
  5. To those that have left Paragon Studios, you have my best wishes for your careers.

For those still at Paragon Studios, you have my best wishes for continued employment on this great game. I hope things don't get as bad as they did after Issue 6.

Who knows? Only time will tell, unfortunately.

I was just wondering since I got a toon ready to lvl to 20 and she has the mission to go to the portal (I ran a straight Loyalist Powers) and she only has three and I know the fourth is when you chose where you want to go.

I made two toons on test and ran them quickly through the tutorial (one Loyalist and one Resistance), and neither got credit for the choice from it.

Is this WAI? If it is, then it's a bit misleading since it is a choice you make in the during your characters play.
There was an exploit that allowed players to use the Tutorial to make 5 choices before going to Nova Praetoria. To combat it, the developers removed the credit from the tutorial choice.

The group I was with tonight almost made it. I still need to go over the demofile, but I think Positron debuffed Vanden and another Hero (likely Manticore, BABs, or States) finished him off despite healers focusing on Vanden. We had 3 tanks, a kin, a rad/rad, a fortunata, and 2 emps.

Grats to the other team though: Sayaki, Taryn, and Bluebella all got the Master badge with help from Otelo, Az, Tam, and I don't know who else.

Actually the game asks you after you have completed the mission to make absolutely, positively sure that you want to change alignments.

After you are a vigilante, you can continue to do tips in Paragon if you want to remain a vigilante or turn back to being a hero. If you want to become a villain, then you will have to head to the Rogue Isles and do tips there.
  10. I hope you have a happy birthday Troll!

You might want to look in the "Summary/Notes" column... Just saying.

For instance, if you look at "There's a Sucker Born Every Minute" in the summary/notes column it says "6 Door Missions (1 Defeat All), 1 Hunt, Includes badge mission for Paragon of Vice."

    The information is there.

This is the page I am on. But thank you for confirming this. I will ensure I do the efficiency expert arc in real time.
Right page. Many villain accomplishment badges are part of the flashback arcs.

Efficiency Expert is the only badge that you can't flashback to in one form or another. It is a one-chance badge.

We didn't have 2 tanks for this run (I wish we did though).

What we did have for the run last night:
    1. White Succubus (Ill/Emp Controller) @Snow Globe
    2. Powerthrust (Inv/SS Tank) @Vanden
    3. War Wench (Emp/Psi Defender) @Taryn
    4. -Michael (Ill/Storm Controller) @ Sayaki
    5. Kay Parfait (Ice/Emp) @Kay Parfait
    6. Radz (Rad/Rad Corr) @Ninja Navok
    7. Anduil (Fire/Emp Controller) @Anduil
    8. Tetujin (Rad/Rad Defender) @Justaris

The first attempt went off without problems until Mynx accidentally got aggro. The second attempt the temporal distortions caught one of us off guard. We decided to use the second run to see "what if" because several of us had to get up early. 25 of the 33 deaths were in the last mission.

As someone else put it, the "M" in MRSF isn't supposed to mean meat grinder.

    Future runs:
For the foreseeable future I'm not likely to be on much before 8pm Pacific. The next run is set for Wed, Oct 6.

It isn't an "new contact" intro, but it shows up when you go into the zone (Steel Canyon or Cap).
    1. Answer: If you have the invention tutorial badge, the new alignment tutorial contact does not show up.
I can't see the harm of what the game does.

Absolutely not. It is a "what if" or alternate time line for the character.

    Master of Barracuda SF success.

    1. -Michael (Ill/Storm Controller) @ Sayaki
    2. White Succubus (Ill/Emp Controller) @Snow Globe
    3. War Wench (Emp/Psi Defender) @Taryn
    4. Powerthrust (Inv/SS Tank) @Vanden
    5. Anduil (*/Emp Controller) @Anduil
    6. Turbo Starr (Scrapper) @Turbo Starr
    7. Union Jax (Elect/* Tank) @Jax
    8. Frost King Jr. (I think that was his name and global)

It took nearly three hours (not including me being 20 minutes later than I though I'd be). We patiently dealt with the ambushes while Powerthrust occupied Reichs. War Wench was on keeping Powerthrust alive. I managed to keep an eye on both of them while getting help to avoid dieing myself.

I want to repeat that I'm willing to help out with any Master runs that I can. I'm usually available after 8pm pacific any day of the week. If you give me a couple days notice, I can try to be on a bit earlier, except on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays. Send me a PM on the forums, or just ask me in game.

If you have the vidiotmaps map pack then the directory would exist. The data directory is an override directory.

Yes, binds/macros free up more abilities.

    Lets take the regular numberpad.

Binds would allow 16 commands to the basic numberpad:
    Numpad0
    Numpad1
    Numpad2
    Numpad3
    Numpad4
    Numpad5
    Numpad6
    Numpad7
    Numpad8
    Numpad9
    Numpadenter
    Decimal
    Subtract
    Add
    Multiply
    Divide

Then you can change those actions by using Shift+, Control+, and Alt+. Those 16 keys become 64 extra keys.

If you use something like the 1st gen G15, the G11, or the G510 keyboards from Logitech, you have 3 "banks" of 18 extra keys. So you have a number pad right at you left hand.

Perhaps the number is higher than 200?
No, there is a fine point were you get a lot of LTs, but not a lot of bosses.

I agree that having progress meters on defeat X gladiator badges would be very nice to have.

Using inspirations on yourself doesn't count, and never has. Using inspirations on your mastermind pets DO count, and always has. The person I was responding to was claiming that inspirations used on their own characters (scrappers) counted. It doesn't.

I would say it is far more likely that the developers wanted to low-ball the rewards so that if they had to lower the rewards there wouldn't be a huge outcry of "Nerf!"
  25. I've been a big fan of the Logitech G-Series for years now. I'm still using a first gen G15 (18 extra keys on the left side). If you don't want the LCD, then the G11 would be great if you can find it.

The simplest way to use the extra keys is to set them as shift-numpad for bank one, ctrl-numpad for bank two, and alt-numpad for bank 3. The included software helps set up the extra keys.
