Unneccesary contacts

I noticed this in beta, and had submitted it then, but after taking several live characters to the other side I have to re-mention:

1. Situation: At level 10 every character is introduced to the "Invention Tutorial". Be it CoH, CoV, or even now GR, at level 10 you get the introduction. So, after level 20, when you can start getting tips and switching alignments, why are you re-introduced to the invention tutorial. It isn't an "new contact" intro, but it shows up when you go into the zone (Steel Canyon or Cap).
1. Answer: If you have the invention tutorial badge, the new alignment tutorial contact does not show up.

2. Situation: The "Origin of Power" arc should not be re-introduced as a new contact if you already have the badge for "Origin of Power".
2. Answer: Do not introduce alignment source for "Origin of Power" if alignment is switched/changed.

3. Situation: Heroes get the into to "Midnight Club" at level 10 while villains get it at level 30.
3. Answer: If the character has the explore badge that is within the Midnight Club, the new alignment arc is not available.

And, on a side note. If a character started in Praetoria, Rogue Isles, or Paragon... when going the Ouroboros Arc, it should reflect the original origin of the character. Nothing against those badge hunters that want "Isolator" or "Jail Bird", but if you started as a hero or villain, an alignment shift should not affect which mission you get as a flashback level 1.

Sometimes, I impress my boss. Sometimes, I impress myself. The rest of the time, I scare people. I can live with that.

This isn't a bug, it is a suggestion.

I can't see the harm of what the game does.

Absolutely not. It is a "what if" or alternate time line for the character.

My problem with contacts has nothing to do with these, but instead with the ones you cannot talk to and the fact that they are added when you can't talk to them or they are not removed when you can no longer talk to them.

Example 1: The invention tute contact as mentioned above. When switching to either Rogue or Vigilante this contact as added as an active contact, however, you cannot talk to this contact as a rogue or a vigilante.

Example 2: I created a widow character. I did none of the villain contacts, and I mean absolutely none. I did other things to PL the character to level 20 then did paper mission to get tips and switched to hero as quickly as I could. This character not only still has Alan Desslock as a contact, which she cannot possibly talk to, but also now has Kalinda as a contact, who she has never spoken to.

There are many other examples. My opinion is that if a contact will not speak to you because of your alignment then that contact should not appear under the active tab of you contacts.

My guess is they leave the invention/origin of power pop-ups in place when side-switching for people who haven't played the other side before, or are new altogether so they know where the University/Midnighter's Club is on their new side.

10 50's To Date! Check out Titan Sentinel; it got my CoH presence synced online

Then why can't I re-do the Cape, costume slots or aura missions again?

These are good suggestions. I'll sign.

/signed.
Its annoying enough to keep the newspaper/radio when we switch.
I dont wanna have thousands contacts with no point, since they are outleveled or cant even talk to them.
This need a look of the devs.

I wouldn't mind, IF I could just drop them.
I don't want to talk to the AE manager. Ever again. I don't get anything for it, so why should I? At least the IO tutorial gives you some reward, so I don't mind doing that. Ditto for Ouro.
AE? Get the smeg outta my contacts list!
