The following for me:

Liberty
- Mech Salvation - Level 43 Emp/Dark Defender. I am going to make a heroic push for 50. I have been at level 43 FOREVER! Anyway, if I do get to 50 this will be my 5th level 50 on Liberty and will make one of each AT (Hero side).

If Mech hits level 50 then I will be over on Justice or Pinnacle running some of my more neglected characetrs:

Justice
- Argus Grimm - Level 34 Fire/Radiation Controller
- Freddy Sunshine - Level 25 Claws/Dark Scrapper

Pinnacle
- Reglan Geist - Level 42 Energy/Electric Brute


and my global is the same as my forum name.

I sooooooo wish I would have the time to do this. But with two studio drawing/painting classes, an Art history Class, Lectures and Full Time work... well, I just don't think I could make and keep the commitment. I would be DQ'ed the first month for a no-show.

So, I will just wish good luck to all the people who sign up, and wait eagerly to see all the awesome art that this inspires.

And to top it off, Gimp just updated their software and added some new stuff for digital artists. So, who knows, that may be a good direction to go if you are short on cash (since it is free).

But, if asked what I would suggest... PhotoShop. This is hands down one of the best applications you will ever own.

Since I have not got into using Painter much (I need to learn where all the functions and brushes are) I can't comment on it, other than to say that I have seen some purely amazing pieces created using it.

I have Heroes on Liberty and Justice. All my level 50s (see my sig) are on Liberty except my Claws/SR who is on Justice. Recently I have been spending almost all my play time on Justice, but switch back to Liberty to run missions/TFs with my SG and help friends.

I have Villains on Pinnacle and Champion. My highest level villain is on Pinnacle and is a level 42 Brute.

I am an altaholic at heart and love to play a wide variety of ATs and power sets.

I tried to find her online last night to let her know it was complete, but I didn't see her online after I finished it.


Oh yeah, one thing I forgot to add the first post. Freddy is my Claws/Dark Scrapper. Amphora, as far as I know, is just a character that Tundara made up to help explain how Freddy got his powers.

OK, this has been a long time in the coming, but I am very happy with the final piece.

I want to give a big THANK YOU and an even bigger *HUG* to Tundara for her incredible story that gave me the inspiration for this painting. It was extremely fun to paint it, and posed some very interesting problems for me, like the perspective and the colors for underwater objects. I am not saying that I got everything perfect, but I am very very happy with what I was able to accomplish.

I know it is dark, but it is supposed to be underwater at night.

Sleepy Hollow Rough Sketch Update

After looking at it again, I think both of you are right on. I will do some tweaking to the eyes tomorrow night when I have some more free time. I am pretty bad at facial expressions and so any feedback like this is good for me. It helps me to see where I am using preconcieved symbols instead of referrence.

OK, I am gearing up for Halloween and decided that I needed to do some type of Halloween related painting for the season. So, I finally decided on the Legend of Sleepy Hollow as my subject (yes, I am fully aware that is not CoH related). Anyway, I have been spending some time trying to find referrence and get inspiration, and finally I sat down and tried to sketch out my idea:

What I am looking for is fedback on the composition. I would really love to hear what works and what doesn't. What can I improve on, where can I tweak it to make it more dramatic and impressive?

Anyway, I do know that this isn't CoH related, but I really respect the opinions and feedback from this community.

I don't know what my free time is going to look like over the next while. I am currently working on one project and I have two that I am just starting on, and everything they keep expecting me do at school. But, if I find some free time, or have a few minutes to spare, I will try and get a quicky sketch done for you.
