I am trying to make several effects ontop of each other to make something very nice.

I want to have explosions ontop of the fire. Then also have that teleporting aura effect on them.

Also, possibly some kind of multi colored glow. Maybe using some kinetic power effects?

Finally, is there anyway to place the Inspiration base item there. Perhaps put it in the ground a bit so that the colored energy center is seen?

Trying to find these things and having a hard time even putting one single fx in here.

Please help. Thank you.

It's pointless to be anywhere other than Atlas heroside, you can't find teams and the GM/AV spawns are rare and sporadic. And the lag is Atlas is horrendous, good luck if your machine isn't very high end.

I wish I could find teams for the invasions, but I can't.

Badges for fighting AVs/GMs are being awarded rarely, something is not right. Merits are working properly.

The gold titles are being handed out individually... this results in their being very few, and very coveted. I wish they were handed out zone-wide.

Hm, yeah. I see now that Apex has a long storyline a head of him. From his hand in helping to reform the coven... to a possible personal quest to help in anyway to bring War Witch back... to his eventual calling by the Kheldians for some reason... he has a long way to go.

I may, instead of doing a teamup with Sin and Apex, go with an actual Apex fan fic comic.

Not sure if I can handle doing two comic series at the same time although it may be cool to try.

Hm, all very good points and brought to mind a few other questions I'd like to share and see what you all think of them aswell.

He does have the sword at the end but the sword is a blunt iron sword. Not very strong (unless its been fixed since him getting it from war witch).
Also that with the words War Witch told him... perhaps he is carrying that around in hopes of finding the "next" one.
That seems like it may be a good quest for him to be on since then.

The next thing is that the end of the Top Cow run. Positron is trying to make War Witch solid again. What if the person bringing Positron the things he needs to do that is Apex?
What if Apex's next quest (besides finding the next guardian or whatever) is his personal quest to bring back War Witch... and possibly even see what he can do about Horus?

Okay so I was thinking about possibly using Apex from the Blue King City of Heroes comic book run, in a coh fan made comic I am making.

I like the character alot and I think he would make a good team up between him and my guy Sin Stalker, especially since they are both pretty much completely human.

So I was thinking about this and there are so many possibilities for Apex now and I was hoping to get some feedback from you all here in probably one of the most creative areas on the forums.

A couple of my thoughts about where he is now.

Well first off he was pretty much a Martial Arts/ Reflexes scrapper. At the end of the blue king run he has War Witch's sword which is probably my first big question about him.
Do you think he would have started using that sword?

I was thinking:
A. He uses it.
B. He doesnt use it but keeps it on him. Like how Ms. Liberty has that sword but never uses it.
C. He has it but keeps it on the mantle or some other kind of display back at his HQ/apartment.

Any thoughts on this?


My next major question or thought about him is, would his personality have changed alot?
His friends died at the end of that series. Now I know for a time he would be very broody but still today? I think about it and I dont think so. I mean War Witch is there for him to talk to in Croatoa anytime pretty much. He can also go to Pocket D to see an alternate dimensional version of her apparently.

So, do you think Apex would have become gruffer, lighter, stayed the same?

Also, do you think Apex would have eventually found more teamates or gone solo?


My only other thought was one that is very minor but I'll mention it. Even though it doesnt effect the comic really... He was originally a Reflexes scrapper... mainly cuz that was really the only option available at the time. Today do you think he would be a Willpower? I mean his invuln side of that can be explained with his kevlar and whatnot (mentioned at the beginning of issue 3 or 4, cant remember).

Thinking about the willpower vs reflexes thing... i also thought...

If Apex is using War Witch's sword, does that mean he could also be using a shield?


A bunch of things rolling through my head and since this isnt my character... not even really the comics character but CoHs character and its communities character, I was hoping for some intellegent, thoughtout feedback here.


Also if anyone knows of any Fan Fiction done by others with Apex in it, please let me know with some linkage.

Nice. I wish I could do that. I tried it for a time when I was finishing up school for a few months. Was all well and fine but then one of the co-leaders in the SG, who I view as a friend still, stepped up and was recruiting and stuff.

It would have been all fine but then alot of people in the group started viewing me as nothing and only looking towards him. My SG had its first major drama problem since we were created back when coh went live.

Its all pretty much fixed now but boy did it suck. Its nice to see that it can work that way without it blowing up in everyones faces. lolz.

I understand the need for this. Its not a major need and I think there are several other things I would prefer to see added/edited to the game before something like this but I understand it and it doesnt make a big deal.

Its pretty simple and there shouldnt be any drama with this added. Only way drama occures if egos get in the way or if drama already exists... just waiting to bubble to the surface.

But anyways, yeah its pretty simple, in my case I am the founder of my SG thats been around since CoH went live. I will be getting the Super Leader rank.

Does this mean I am above anyone else? NO. The Super Leader rank in my SG will be named "Founder" and it will be (as far as leading the SG and running things and votes and whatnot) equal to the 5th rank, aka Leader.

My SG still remains NOT a dictatorship and pretty relaxed and whatnot.

Seems like people are over complicating this thing. Yes, there are other things that could have been worked on besides this but yes there are valid reasons for this and no, it should not cause drama or problems in places where drama and problems dont already exists. I could however see it being the straw that breaks the drama's back and lets the damn flow free.

It'll be released... drama will occure where it will and shortly there after, everything will run just fine once again. No worries.

Hey all. I am searching for someone that knows about media wiki.
Not how to edit your pages but how to set it up. I am trying to set up one on a website and it is frustrating me. I have the wiki uploaded but I cant seem to figure out how to edit and change the sidebar on the left.

I am also having trouble enabling the ability to upload small files (ie pictures) to the wiki.

Does anyone now anything?
