I really have learned stuff about Photoshop because Donnie's a genius.

All the desktop-classes should be taught in that style of delivery. -
1. Premiere, because I use the full CS3 at work, and Vegas Pro. Simple edit assignments get Vegassed-treatment (if the Client doesn't mind) cause there is less setup involved initially.
2. After Effects. -
...and you suck at Photoshop."
Watch this series of short, uhhh, PS tutorials and learn a thing or three... -

QFT. The Hollows needed help in a bad way.

Portable hospital? Yay! Now the RMT'ers spamming the Hollows won't have to run back as far when the angry Heroes trash them. -

you could also try encoding with x264, which is considered slightly better than XviD but I don't know if it's as widespread as XviD.

That is a very good quality CODEC but be sure your computer is up to snuff (CPU and memory-wise) when crunching videos with it. -
Haha. I forgot the good-ol' CoH days of everyone clutching their robes and dropping upon their kneecaps, then falling forward in unison.

How does http://live.yahoo.com fare in all of this?
-
Hope they have their Photoshop-workstations at the ready. I can see a flood of poorly-lit, off-color blurry and pixilated shots pouring onto their order-desk, and customers will still expect them to perform miracles with 'em.

Wooo! And this should also be posted (or moved) in the Co* Multimedia forum as well.

this was before I took this stuff seriously ... edited on *shudder* Windows Movie Maker.

What do you use now that it is taken seriously? -
"My cape for a wind-screen to shield the mic!"
"Or better, an RF microphone!"
"... or better yet, a loop-session." -
Yes, get a free www.photobucket.com account if you don't yet have one, and upload it to there. Sadly, 80x80 is still the largest size this Forum allows for. I am forced to taking all my general 100x100 and 120x120 .pngs and separately downsize them here.

The complete OPENING Theme when logging in on the CoV side. It is the only one where you get a mix of two different tracks and a thunder-storm at the end of it. Someone blended those two together quite seamlessly. Unfortunately, you can ONLY hear that actual mix when first logging into the game on the CoV side... as it is not assigned to any particular Zone.
And if you could, please? Might want to pass along to the powers that be, the Zone music in 'New Sparta'... over in CoH's Talos Island... is 'out-of-phase' with the rest of the Zone music. It probably happened when that selection was being compressed to .OGG format and made into a .PIGG file. It's a bit jarring to listen to when you're crossing into and out of that area while wearing a pair of stereo-headphones. -
That reminds me... aren't the 8900s arriving next month? Time to place in another Purchase Order...

I'd say what company I work for in the Media/Entertainment world (although a couple have already guessed it)--- but then someone would call it up and get me in trouble (it is my first year out of school now and I interned with them) for hanging out on these Boards throughout the day.
-
They should've done a time-lapse on a couple of them as 'speed-paintings.' That would rock.

I apologise in advance if my question seems "Dumb", "Idiotic" or is viewed as some form of slam

Thanks. We'll keep that admission in mind, in case you ever decide to post something useless in here again. -

I want a spam blocker on the e-mail Please, this is where they hit me and its usually 5-6 of them at a time the sneaky *&*!&*^#@*# (filtered for Sexy Jay) hee hee ....or at least a report spam on e-mail, that would be nice too!
[/ QUOTE ]
Or to easily ADD a filter that only allows you to receive in-game Emails from those on your 'Friends' and 'Trusted' lists. Yeah, simple and effective options to block many spammers. What a concept. -
"I can't give you exact numbers..."
Developer-speak for, "No comment." -
Hmmmm... Stan and Lou... Stan and Looooouuuu...
Weren't they some old Vaudeville-act from the mid '30s?
*snap*
Yeaaaah, I remember now: Stan Laurel and Lou Hardy! -
Wow! A new litter of Live-Server hamsters, too! Talk about a Wheel of Fortune!
-
Ahhh, so THIS is where the obligatory Co* Forum 'clone-thread' has been hiding out for the month. Whew, I was starting to get a bit worried for the moment, since it wasn't found in the General forum as usual.
JANUARY '08: CHECK!
The unending-streak continues.
See ya'll next month. -
Another thing to keep in mind when you're choosing your shade... the game horribly distorts or changes the actual tone once you are in-game. This due to their over-liberal use of coloring filters for in-game daylight/nightime atmosphere (most notably in messed-up Zones such as Atlas Park). So no matter how 'perfect' you believe your character is set up... you'll be in for a bit of color-sticker shock once they get out of the noob Training Area.

I really suggest a trip before moving with any sort of permanence for one very simple reason--get the most severe reaction out of the way when you KNOW you get to leave again. Being able to go through it once is a great way to be sure you can go through it on a large scale, and it allows you to prepare for it.
[/ QUOTE ]
WISE words spoken. I would take them to heart if you really plan on doing all this, OP. -
