WOW neat stuff, I have tons of stuff my kids draw that I wish I could transform like that, Very, very cool!

What I like is that kids sometimes think they cant draw, but then if you show them with a little imagination, what can be created from almost anything, THATS where it all lies. Good stuff!

I think it demonstrates how important basic technique is for shading, depth, and texture. The redrawn peices all share the base profile to a very precise degree (and really, the originals show the artists had very clear ideas of the -defining- features in their vision). The expanded version pop with what are very fundamental tools.

They should've done a time-lapse on a couple of them as 'speed-paintings.' That would rock.
